Negative experience: I joined with high hopes of this being a great start back postpartum. Unfortunately their app booking system for crèche is very unreliable, it was almost impossible for me to book a crèche session due to app glitches. So I then had to call when staffed to book in only to find my luck had run out most days. I attended the gym once, I had made the decision to cancel due to poor booking system and constantly being told by a lady called Kathryn that there’s nothing wrong on their end. I didn’t see the point in stressing about when I could call to get a spot in crèche and it was important to me to have that visibility. All up with membership join fee I am left about $350 out of pocket for something I attended once. I have asked for management to contact me to take in to consideration some sort of reimbursement but no one has even bothered to get back in touch. I understand you enter in to a legal contract about cancel fees etc but when something isn’t “fit for purpose” or “as advertised” then a business should at least consider this or in the very least have the decency to contact the customer. I was offered by a staff member 2 free PT sessions but as I pointed out to even get to the gym in the first place I need a reliable system I can book my daughter in to in the first place. I’d asked several times for management to contact me to discuss further. Radio silence from management and shocking customer care. Getting back to the gym postpartum is supposed to be something exciting and of all gyms I would have thought Fernwood would have done better. In this instance they only care about onboarding and their back pocket. I have edited this review based on the response below my membership is under Emma Varkovi.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, clean environment for women to work out in, being a ladies only gym. Plenty of different classes to be involved in. If you like to have a sauna there is one in the change rooms. A nice massage chair. Fantastic PTs. It also has a kitchen with supplies like coffee, tea, cereal, ect.. Showers with bathroom products and hair straightener, plus hairdryer. A crèche with a kind, caring lady to look after your children while you workout.

Fantastic experience: Great gym I was visiting interstate and the lovely lady let me do the group class for only $10

Fantastic experience: I live in Sydney...and Whilst on holiday in Brisbane recently, I used the flexible membership and joined a couple of classes at Everton Park It's a very welcoming gym and the two classes I attended were fabulous! Body Combat and Fat Burning. Excellent instructors ...great facilities in the gym. Really enjoyed the experience. THANKS Fernwood Everton Park.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS CLUB!! The women here are so encouraging, supportive and friendly. My kids love coming to the crèche too. It’s a place we all love. A very inspiring and up-lifting environment!

Fantastic experience: All staff are super welcoming and friendly. The group fitness trainers are very helpful, knowledgeable and encouraging. The stress stays at the door when you visit this club!

Fantastic experience: A very positive environment to workout in. All the equipment you need. Fantastic staff and classes. Fiit 30 is my favourite workout! Always something to challenge yourself.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, new owners, good updated facilities, everything I could ask for in a ladies only gym. They have a mixture of virtual and instructor classes, so something for everyone. I've been going to Fernwood Everton Park for about 17 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I've made lots of friends over this time too. If you are thinking of joining a gym, I'd recommend Fernwood Everton Park.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE Fernwood Everton Park The staff are simply the best and always check in on me when I train. The equipment and facilities are really well maintained and the class timetable is massive with so many options at various times. The crèche is wonderful and allowed me to take care of myself as a new mum. Love my Fernwood sanctuary and always look forward to going to the gym!

Fantastic experience: Great people and good facilities. Renovations are happening at the moment with a new reformer pilates room being built.

Negative experience: Bad not clear

Positive experience: I love that it's always empty but for the price I thought there would be better equipment. The leg press is so uncomfortable and should be updated... Very old looking The staff are all friendly and nice. Just really wish some of the equipment was abit more updated

Fantastic experience: Was the only one at the gym, did my 1st Les Mills virtual Body Pump class. Good workout

Negative experience: Almost fainted during a session and told the staff I was feeling terrible. No offer for water or any attention. The classes are great but it's clear that the time table is designed for stay at home mums and older ladies. Hardly any selection after 5pm. I've had staff to tell me there are no excuses for not attending classes. A bit difficult when you are doing two jobs on shift work, hun Facilities are lovely but it's clear management hiked up the membership significantly to fund the recent face lift.

Negative experience: Charged my partner $50 for a door dongle - Which has never worked since day 1 and my partner works too much to make time to go get that sorted in their operating hours If your payment is so much as a day late you are instantly billed an extra $10 If you try and call to work out payments you'll either get a)No response because they won't return your call or b)The rudest customer service person i've ever heard of Pay $100 and buy a treadmill online instead. These guys are thieves.

Positive experience: Angry, confused and sad, I came here to release my frustrations after my awful experience at BWS Everton Park Stafford Road in Woolworths. I explained my situation to Jessica at the front desk who too had a terrible experience at BWS and offered me free membership and 10 free private PT sessions.

Positive experience: After a terrible experience at BWS Everton Park I went to Fernwood Gym to pump some Iron and get some anger out. Katie then informed I was not to be in here as I am male. After telling her my frustration with BWS everton Park she let me pump out one more rep on the bench as she to had a terrible experience with them.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, super helpful and very enjoyable classes.
