Fantastic experience: Been going here for a while now… can confirm some of the older equipment is being replaced, including new treadmills. Staff are incredible, owners are super lovely. Generally speaking, there are good vibes. Sauna/recovery rooms are also very good. In terms of memberships, they have Fitness Passport, and are decent in pricing and flexibility with other memberships.

Fantastic experience: Lovely people and a clean gym!

Positive experience: The exercise equipment is not very new. That's not to say this isn't a good gym however the reviews are misleading. A few of the machines are broken and a lot of them are old snap fitness or 2nd, 3rd hand machines. I have heard good things about the recovery rooms but not yet used them. They also offer fitness passport which is a bonus. The atmosphere here is good and the space is well used, I hope they will soon invest in newer equipment and then this will be one of the best gyms in the Wollongong area. Parking is limited but the gym managers make an effort to keep the surrounding businesses happy and gym goers informed on where they can or can't park as it is a shared lot.

Fantastic experience: Been training at the Health Haus as a foundational member ever since they first opened, and every day I walk into a bright and energetic atmosphere. The staff welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home. Very hygienic and fresh. A popular gym, however there's many machines and plenty of space. Not to mention the range of professional services and amenities including: massage, saunas and icebaths. Refreshments available after a good workout. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended, wouldn't go anywhere else ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best gym and so affordable! Always greeted with a smile. Good energy! They have amazing coaches if you're after a PT who get amazing results for their clients. The equipment is amazing and has absolutely everything you need for cardio and bodybuilding. Lots of equipment to take the load off your back as well. ALSO the recovery rooms are amazing AND you literally pay a premium membership (about $35-40 per week and get to use saunas and ice baths as well as the gym!) Crazy affordable.

Fantastic experience: I’m a fitness passport member and in the past have had experiences with gyms that have made me feel unwelcome because of it. I called up Health Haus to enquire and spoke to the owner, who was so incredibly friendly and welcoming, I signed up on the spot. I went in later to pick up my access card and Kelly greeted me and showed me around. She was so warm and friendly and instantly made me feel welcome and comfortable. Every time I enter the gym, the staff and PTs always smile at me! That really translates to their members who are also friendly. Its been really wonderful to stumble across a gym with such a wholesome vibe. There’s also zero diet culture there which was important to me and rare to find. Well done Health Haus! You’re amazing x

Fantastic experience: Great terms and conditions

Negative experience: I signed up thinking I would be in living in Wollongong for far longer than I was, and ended up needing to leave only a few days after joining and going. I tried to cancel my membership a few days after joining because of this but it was very difficult to contact someone and I couldn’t find the option online. When someone finally picked up the phone after trying at different points throughout the day, they explained that I couldn’t just end my membership. Like most gyms they have a scummy way of extending your payments despite advising no lock-in contracts. They said I needed to give a few weeks notice as if I was leaving a job, claiming it was their way of making up for not charging for sign-up fees, so essentially they were still charging these fees but in a roundabout way that they can boast no sign up fees or lock-in contract. This meant that I paid multiple weeks for a membership that I only had the chance to use on one night. The facility itself is pretty decent. Small, but it has what you need. Still, I certainly wouldn’t say it’s worth so much just for a single nights use.

Fantastic experience: I visit the gong a few times a year for work and this place is by far the best local gym for a casual session. Super impressed with how clean and modern the equipment is and how welcoming the staff are Keep up the good work guys ;)

Fantastic experience: The Health Haus is my happy place. I love going to the gym because the equipment is plentiful, and there is multiple recovery rooms (sauna/ ice baths/ compression boots). With such lovely owners it’s no wonder why the vibes are always high there.
