Negative experience: The gym is satisfactory. However, the main issue is that they continue to charge my accounts (including additional accounts for my children) even after confirming the cancellation.

Negative experience: Went to work out in the early hours of the morning, door did not open. Ended up having to go home. When this happened I request a fob key and I was told they no longer have fob keys - however I was later given a fob key because I was locked out twice. I was not reimbursed for not being able to access the gym. I was told to "try again later" or "it might not work". I requested to cancel via email, however management let another month pass allowing my cost owing to accrue higher, on top of this I am also being charged another month cancellation fee because another month has passed. Management difficult and deceitful - On sign up you're told there is no cancellation fee, trusting their word I did not read all the fine print on the digital contract. The equipment in the gym is Ok and is in good condition despite being quite dated. I am thankful I was able to use it when I was there.

Positive experience: Great gym in a warehouse setting. Can get a bit crowded in peak times, otherwise is good.

Negative experience: Really sick of this gym. I’ve been there for a year or so and the staff (in particular the personal trainer that currently works there) is horrible. Until recently all she ever did was talk to her friends which is fine except she would lean or sit on equipment while she did it and take up space or better yet would move out of the way while you were trying to put plates on the bar meaning you had to shuffle by her to fit through while carrying 20kg plates so she could keep talking. This isn’t what made me write this though it’s the double standards she has one set of rules for people she knows and likes and another for people she doesn’t. I know several people who will walk around the gym and use equipment without towels and never get in trouble but she’ll walk around having a go at people for forgetting towels while ignoring her friends. There are several other examples I could write down but won’t because she’ll know who I am and I’d rather not make my gym experience any worse than it is already. It’s all well and good if you want to enforce stupid rules but do it with some consistency at least. Also she doesn’t enforce rules that actually benefit members such as talking to people who leave weights on machines and bars which happens constantly, guess she’s just got too much on her plate. I’ll just throw it out there as well, I reckon you wouldn’t need towels if she actually cleaned the gym like the old PT did. Never once have I seen her wipe down the equipment or tidy up the gym properly.

Positive experience: Limited selection of equipment to use compared to other Plus Fitness gyms. The access to the centre where the gym is located is also poorly designed. The parking area is quite dark and I would think twice about going there late at night.

Positive experience: This is a top quality local gym. Clean, safe and secure. The members and staff are super friendly. The gear is in great condition and there's always room and equipment to work out on.

Fantastic experience: Long time member and Plus Fittness Dural is a fantastic club that has everything you need to reach your fitness goals. There is rarely wait times for equipment and there is an abundance of covered and street parking. Also friendly and professional customer service. I can highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, small gym, but the equipment is well maintained. Best to go when its quieter as it gets busy and full very quickly.

Negative experience: Small, cramped and not that many machines. That didn't stop one young guy using two machines at once though so preventing anyone else using it. Won't be back.

Positive experience: Small gym. No showers. But staff are friendly and honest. Poor lightning particularly at the back corner. Makes up for it by having a lower price per week than other Plus Fitness Gyms. But if you then happen to go to another more frequently, then your membership changes to the other. When that happens you'll feel compelled to go with the nicer ones which charge you more.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, a small gym but its not that busy so didnt really have much trouble waiting for equipment or so

Negative experience: Very small gym and good if you dont require a shower as the shower is TINY and only one of them. If showering is not a consideration for you then raise this at least one star, but that is about it as the equipment is a little dated

Positive experience: Nice cosy gym, never packed which is perfect for me.

Negative experience: Incredibly small gym so naturally there isn't a lot of equipment to work with. Overall, it also has a negative vibe given there are about a billion warning signs on every wall warning members not to violate their rules lest they get a lofty fine levied upon them. Their only saving grace is that the price is reflective of the quality... somewhat. If you can find another gym close by then go there instead.
