Fantastic experience: I’ve been running around all the gyms in Mackay (no joke), and this one is definitely the best I’ve found. Great place, amazing environment, and awesome coaches — especially Jimmy! It was my first day doing CrossFit, and I already know this will be my sport and my place for as long as I’m in Mackay.

Negative experience: It's a Crossfit. That should be enough but alas, someone has to tell you that a gym, especially Crossfit, is not how you get fit.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely WONDERFUL gym. I’ve been CFing since 2012 and hold my L1s, and I drop in whenever I travel. My sister lives in Mackay (I’m in the States) and I cannot say enough great things about this gym. The owner Kurt is so kind and responsive; the coaches (shoutout James, Tasha, Tennille!!!) are organized, knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, and - the COMMUNITY! Everyone here loves and cares for each other and that is the magic of CrossFit (for me at least). Thanks for making this town feel like home, yall ❤️✨ And to anyone wondering about trying out CrossFit, I cannot recommend this place highly enough for beginners and experienced anthletes alike.

Fantastic experience: Super fun drop-in at 4740. Really classic CrossFit gym with a great vibe, pumping music, good coaching for all levels and a solid WOD. They were very welcoming - stoked they had a Crèche to drop my son off as well (he had a ball ). High recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great fun team atmosphere and plenty of equipment. Coaches are welcoming to people of all fitness and skill levels and have time to work with you. Plenty of events to attend and very encouraging towards the younger generations getting involved. Kurt has turned this gym into something special for the community.

Fantastic experience: The first time I experienced CrossFit was at 4740 and it had me hooked straight away! The community at this gym is honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. Not only have I made lifelong friends, I’ve smashed goals I never thought I could ever achieve. So very grateful to be part of this CrossFit family

Positive experience: Was a great place to workout. Especially when I was visiting. People friendly. Really was happy with hitting a 90kg 1rep Max thruster after a few years of not doing them and great simple workout. Only thing is shirt wasn't advertised with correct price for drop ins.
