Negative experience: weight machine broke on me, hurt my wrist and back and got told that the machine got fixed and not to worry about it. Not impressed and lucky I don't sue

Fantastic experience: I never imagined myself stepping into a gym let alone becoming a member and actually loving it. I was shy and worried of being judged and laughed at until I joined Zap Fitness. First of all, their friendly and supportive staff made me feel welcome, comfortable and brave enough to give it a go. Am glad and proud I did. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, friendly and supportive staff, great equipment, affordable and it's open 24/7. I go there regularly, almost daily. I feel happier, healthier and energetic than before. Thanks to my daughter for encouraging me to join. We go to the gym together, motivate each other and we both LOVE IT. Fantastic experience: Great small community gym! Been going here for about a year now was at a goodlife gym before that, and way prefer Zap fitness over the big style gyms.

Positive experience: I come here when it's quiet. It's kept nice and clean most of the time but sometimes some of the clients will leave things on the floor or on equipment like used sanitising wipes.

Negative experience: Of the zap gyms, this is my favourite, it's big and so are the showers. But it's still a poorly ventilated stinky zap gym. Good gyms have good air flow, fresh clean air, zap is smelly and recirculates air for some hair brained reason. Also crowded, also same old equipment, generally good enough though. You get what you pay for, zap is cheap, it still does the job but I am still joining a second gym because zap is so gross.

Positive experience: It's a good value for money (if you get a special deal) and basic gym with ok equipment. Cardio equipment is a bit old and dated, need much better Spin bikes.

Negative experience: Would have to be one of the worst managed gyms in SA. During staffed hours gym staff hide in the office and would spend less than 1 minute per shift in and around clientele and machines. Possibly one of the world’s least friendly gyms and as a Physical Education professional and strength and conditioning coach I have been to gyms through Australia, the USA and. .Europe. Why do I persist in going here? am asking myself the same question recently…lt is probably because the staff are so bad that it’s always close to empty and because the actual equipment is quite good. This gym would suit you if you enjoy noisy industrial wall fans blowing Covid virus all over the gym, if you like blaring loud music (think doof doof nightclub) and particularly if you never smile or acknowledge anyone else. At present, February 2022, there are 2 treadmills and an upright bike that have been out of service since early January. The gym space and equipment has the potential for at least 4 stars but staff are zero stars. Has gone way down hill since Jetts was bought out by Zapp and you only have cross state visitation rights in Victoria and Tasmania and only if you pre organise. Goodlife and Anytime are looking like my best option after 6 years. Update to review….. another 2 weeks since the original review and the same 3 machines are still out of service!! Now March and the treadmills are back in service but the upright bike is still out of service. Music is frequently above SA Safe workplace safety limit of 80db …. Maybe it’s quieter in the office!! Please note office has no windows so there is no accountability when staff spend their whole shift in the office and staff have no idea who or what is going on in the gym!

Fantastic experience: Back to it after 4 weeks off

Negative experience: Ive changed my mind about this gym, terrible customer service and rules, my wife doesnt use her membership so i had to cancel mine to avoid alot of bills but i was told i cant even use my wife's membership to get in othwrwise ill be paying a fine what stupid rule we live under one roof

Negative experience: Have only been here a short time, getting a little over not being able to access the gym, Quick to take the money out of my account but not so good at letting me access the gym Looking at cancelling membership and going else where Not a happy customer

Negative experience: I have been at this gym for years & I love it, but management needs reviewing . Weights left on machines & the place is a mess at times! Bring back vibrant approachable managers that are genuinely interested in their job! No wonder so many members left

Negative experience: Don't normally go to this Jetts, however when I did I was highly disappointed. I went later at night in which the place was empty, on entry all was quiet. I walked over to the weight machines and was greeted with the ridiculous noise of 2 large industrial fans mounted on the walls. Put your MP3 player in and the noise is louder than your music. Think its time they got some air conditioning. Layout of cardio equipment is ok, weight area is way over crowded.
