Fantastic experience: I live in Regional WA and I love the lifestyle up here, however I was missing my connection to my favourite Tamara Yoga community so I joined up as a member and I now do 3 to 6 morning classes a week from the convenience of my own home, with my dog watching me with one eye open. I am amazed how connected again I feel and still in awe at how TY teachers can still intuitively know what their students need. I am truly grateful for their teachings including pranyamas, mantras and asanas and of course the philosophy. Thank you TY.

Fantastic experience: The teachers at Tamara yoga have a special presence about them! The classes at Tamara yoga are always thoughtful, engaging, and safe. My favourite teacher is Fish, who is just fantastic at helping his students drop into the felt experience of their practice. He also has a gift for helping students reflect and incorporate introspection into their practice. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: You will be greeted with a warm welcome at Tamara Yoga - I visited sporadically over the course of a year and finally took up the unlimited membership a couple of years ago. My only regret is not doing it sooner! Love the mixture of classes, teachers and wisdom shared in these classes….I now live away from Perth but continue with their online classes which are an equally fabulous offering.

Fantastic experience: It starts with your body feeling stronger and then you start to feel yourself being a stronger person!

Fantastic experience: You feel like you're down south as soon as you step into the studio. The instructors are fantastic and they offer so many benefits that most yoga studios don't! For example, if you're an unlimited member, you get to bring 2 guests per month and have access to a bunch of online yoga classes, both in real time & recorded. No other studio I have ever been to does that without charging you more.

Negative experience: I attended a 9:15 Sweat and Samadhi class led by Tamara. There was very little movement in this class which was disappointing since the class was described as containing “a strong asana practice to burn out the impurities trapped in the physical body”. The majority if the time was spent listening to Tamara talk. Very frustrating. I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: As a fill in teacher at Tamara Yoga's Claremont and Bibra Lake studios it is always a joy to enter the spaces and work with welcoming and engaging teachers and students which is a testament to the community that has been created at Tamara Yoga.

Fantastic experience: I attended a kids’ yoga class on Zoom (online platform) with my three year old. It was pitched at a really good level for my daughter to follow and broken into different parts (breathing, different poses and story time!) which meant she didn’t lose interest. The best bit though was the little girl, Olive, who was doing all the postures in the background. My daughter had been a bit reluctant at first but was fascinated by watching another child and just started copying her. Would def do again and recommend for anyone who is keen to try yoga with little kids.

For the short time that I have been coming to tamara yoga I cannot explain the immense positive benefits that I have received. In such a chaotic and uncertain time, Tamara yoga has been a beacon of peace, love and joy for me and I am sure for so many others. It is evident that all the staff at tamara yoga have a deep and unwavering passion for what they do and the service they provide is impeccable! The variety of classes ensure your every yoga need is fulfilled and they cater for all levels of yoga experience. The new online classes are a revolution, bringing yoga into our homes so we can continue to practice and stay together as a community. I cannot recommend tamara yoga more highly! If you do one thing for yourself this year, go give tamara yoga a try.

Fantastic experience: Taking an average of 9 classes a week at Tamara Yoga, both Claremont and Bibra Lake studios, in a variety of styles offered, has given me the chance to meet and train with many of Tamara Yogas wonderful Yoga teachers, all of whom provide great classes, insights and community.
