My First Gym Enoggera

Fantastic experience: My son just had his 5th birthday at My First Gym Enoggera and it was an excellent birthday party venue. I booked the 25 person package. Key points of difference here are that you have the entire venue to yourself and dedicated coaches who setup everything and run the entire event. We didn't need to bring anything as the cake, party bags and snacks were sorted by the venue. I think the newer packages don't include snacks so parents might need to bring food. I highly recommend My First Gym Enoggera for a fun, stress free, no mess party where parents can relax and catch up knowing there kids are in good hands.

Negative experience: The 28 day cancelation policy is disappointing and leaves me hesitant to come back at a later date. I honestly found mini bounce provided better value for money after my daughter hit 2yo so we'll go there from here on our.

Negative experience: My First Gym Enoggera. My son has autism and is non-verbal. I have been trialling him in different extra-curricular activities to find him something we can do on the weekends that would spark his interest. We tried My First Gym at Enoggera. It became apparent after a few sessions that it wasn’t his thing. When I signed up for it, it was my understanding that it was a month to month contract and thought that by not signing up for anymore classes then that would be it. Today I looked at my bank statement and realised that they’ve been charging me $28.20 each week since we signed up back in October 2023. This has accumulated to them charging me over $600 for absolutely nothing. When I called them, they said after 21 days of not showing up, then they contact you about it. Apparently they did but I guess the least concern in my life was getting back into contact with them given I thought it was nothing related to the money I was apparently paying. So given I didn’t call them back, they’ve just continued to charge me despite knowing that my son has not attended at all since last year. They are unwilling to compromise in terms of reimbursement of any money at all.

Fantastic experience: My two girls have been members at MyFirstGym Enoggera for nearly 3 years and we absolutely love it. The flexibility of being able to book and cancel classes on the app and being able to do any class that suits each week instead of being locked into the same time and day every week is SO GOOD. They have classes running 7 days a week so there is always something on. We often decide to come after school at the last minute and have no trouble getting into classes. Before my youngest started prep we would regularly use free play during the week which is included as part of the membership. My girls are now 6yrs and 10yrs and they love Nina Warrior, MFG Fit Club, Yoga, Boxing and Parkour…there is so much to try. It’s air conditioned, clean, safe and there is a cafe downstairs = kids and Mum happy!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place for the kids to enjoy a structured play during classes, with improving skills like balance, hand eye coordination, strength, and tumbling. Free play gives them a way to use the skills in a safe environment. The coaches are amazing at working with the kids at different skills sets and encouraging them, while allowing them to discover their own skills. Also gives my kids a safe place to climb, flip and roll around to get the energy out!

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to Olivia and Erin for hosting our daughters birthday party! 30 children and everything ran so smoothly! Birthday girl had a blast, the guests left with huge smiles and parents were raving about how wonderful the party was! I would highly recommend having your birthday party at My First Gym. Thanks guys!!

Fantastic experience: You have taken Calvin and Isabelle to the next level! I am thrilled with the varied routines you have developed for them. My first gym coaches have kept Calvin and Isabelle interested and motivated, and I love the improvement in their fitness and strength. Calvin and Isabelle looks forward to reaching new heights together. Thank you MY FIRST GYM for taking Calvin and Isabelle in this journey. They have 50 classes and still looks forward to going to the gym. Edit: Just wanted to add on how impressive the staff continue to be. (Gabe is amazing) passionate, engaged, and quite thoughtful in how the lessons are constructed. A lot of the programming and engagement structures mirror how our speachies and OTs tackle lessons. Gabe in particular is a superstar.

Positive experience: We had a 6YO birthday party at My First Gym, the staff managed the party well and comms I cared clearly with parents around allergies, etc. the kids LOVED IT!

Negative experience: Really bad behaviour by one of the 'coaches' here - bordering on abusive to some of the children. Has been raised by other parents in the past but the management here has no interest in addressing the issue. Their response is simply to blame the children and parents involved. Says a lot about how they run this place.

Fantastic experience: Had a birthday party there, ultimate package. I was sceptical at first as there are places who 'cater for everything' but really it's meh. My first gym at Enoggera really went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I mean they really catered for everything, for a parent it was amazingly stress free. The kids 25+ absolutely loved the activities and games, and I loved that it was well thought through with having a play session, then lunch, then a second play session, which was perfect for everyone's energy levels. The food was delicious and simple, and the cake was delicious. You can tell this place and the staff really know what they're doing, nothing felt floundering around, everything was well thought through, and even the simple gesture of walking the kids to the bathroom to wash up was impressive for us parents who are used to having to go back and forth to the toilet. Not a single parent there had ever heard of my first gym, and I am happy to have been the one to introduce everyone to it, because it is a stellar place. I received nothing but compliments from parents about everything. I also appreciated that they had a little kid section for the younger siblings to keep busy while the older kids had fun. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly yet able to keep everyone in line, I don't know what else to say except thank you for everything. Riley loved having her birthday with you and after all is said and done, everything was absolutely worth it.

Negative experience: Poorly run business with minimal staff. They barely have enough time in between classes to attend their front desk. After multiple calls and messages left we decided to drive there in person to book last minute as their timetable for the class was still showing some availability only to be turned away. I think the situation could have been handled better considering the effort we took, and their lack of effort to answer their calls. One of my kids had a private birthday party there with 20+ children, sadly we won’t coming back and will try elsewhere.

Positive experience: Great fun for the kids. Went there for a birthday party, and all the amenities were great. Kids had a great time and were looked after well by the helpful and friendly staff.

Negative experience: This place is a scam beware n be very careful when signing contracts with them as they won't allow you to get out of it under no circumstances if your circumstances change also the activities they have to offer you at this place isn't very much at all the gear they have you could have at home they are very expensive for what they have to offer you in return so please be very careful an dont get trapped into signing a contract you can't get out of if you're circumstances change

Fantastic experience: We have loved My First Gym from the first class our three year old took and can't wait to enrol our baby when she is a bit older! All the coaches are so attentive and skilled at bringing out the best in the kids, even when it's a big group. Couldn't recommend the venue or staff more! We also held a 4th birthday party at MFG and Coach Jade and Coach Matt were absolutely amazing, our daughter couldn't stop talking about how much she loved her party and every parent said good things to us about it. All the coaches work so hard to make every experience the best possible for the kids, we will definitely look forward to having more birthday parties here!!

Fantastic experience: We have been extremely happy with the service provided at My First Gym Enoggera. Our son has felt so suppported by Coach Cass in two age group classes - so much so that he even requested she host his birthday party! The birthday party process is just fantastic - it gives parents the time to enjoy being present, rather than attending to every detail. Thank you MFG!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, friendly and helpful team. Signed up on the day of our trial lesson and already looking forward to returning. Beautiful venue too which is nice.

Positive experience: Good classes and friendly staff. My daughter loves coming here. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, and the gym has a really strange smell inside which you can taste! Other than that it's great for the kids, and prices are reasonable especially if you do 2 classes a week.

Fantastic experience: Love the classes, which are engaging for the little ones and a great place to meet mothers and fathers alike. Have to mention Coach Cass lights up my son's life with her bright personality. My only suggestion would be better baby changing facilities with somewhere to pop your little ones while mum/dad use the bathroom.

Fantastic experience: My son had his 9th birthday at MFG with a NERF gun theme. I was very happy with Georgia who was welcoming, professional and personable. She remembered each of the children's names, kept them in order and offered a sympathetic ear as required. For the NERF party Georgia had the games well organised and varied to keep the kids interested The kids ran like crazy after a warm up and had an absolute blast. Things were made very easy with a great party room, all NERF equipment provided and Georgia finishing the final clean up. My son is already planning his next party there. I would absolutely recommend MFG for a birthday bash.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is super active and really needed something she enjoyed. My first gym Enoggera is perfect! Great classes and she really enjoys the free play arena. The staff are super friendly and coaches are great. I highly recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Went for a birthday party and the staff member was very dittached from the party, I have never been before but I thought they would be in there encouraging the kids and showing them how to use different things but she barely even said hello when we came in. Maybe it's the way it's meant to be, just didn't make me want to come back. Went back the next year as a guest at another party and the staff were better at being a part but my daughter is shy and she was left out and no procedures were in place to make sure she did not miss out over other kids. I was left very disappointed for her.
