Fantastic experience: Working with Kelly & Ahrie has been a winning combo! I’ve been wanting to work with Kelly Mann for more than a year now and finally reached out. I am so pleased that I did. After more than 20 years as a competitive powerlifter and weightlifter, I am excited to restart my journey with fresh eyes and a new perspective. Kelly is thoughtful, direct and responsive, and this is exactly what I need from a coach. I am grateful Kelly referred me to Ahrie for PT for my hip shift and hip/back pain related to an old hip labrum tear. After only 2 sessions I feel a significant improvement in my movement patterns and was immediately in less pain! Fantastic experience: I recently had the opportunity to have an online consultation with Ahrie to address some issues I’ve had with my bicep/shoulder. Within the first 30 minute call, I was able to walk away feeling more mobile and informed. Ahrie got me set up with some exercises to help properly warm up my upper body for benching and to keep those niggles from popping up again during my heavier sessions. I’m looking forward to applying the cues and tips he provided! 10/10 would highly recommend to any athlete looking to perform well, and most importantly, feel well whilst doing it. Fantastic experience: Had a chance to do free 30min vid call with Ahrie and it was a great experience. We talked so much about CrossFit, especially Oly Weightlifting. He gave some advice about Weightlifting that is combined with biomechanics. If you are looking a right person to talk about weightlifting (the proper form, how to create program, etc), then Ahrie is one of the best options.
Fantastic experience: Danny Le has been my coach for the past year and it's been wonderful. One of the reasons I sought out Performotion was because I wanted to experience world-class coaching and I can absolutely say I have received that.
Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having a consultation call with Ahrie. He gave me a warmup protocol on the spot based on what I needed. He was able to explain every exercise well and i was able to pick it up straight away.

Which is pretty awesome! Booked a training with Ahri and it changed everything! You wont find a better gym
Fantastic experience: Perf is a great place to train, great vibes, with coaches who really know their shiz. I highly recommend booking in with Ahrie, who may look intimidating (cause he is a big unit), but is really a gentle giant who can help you achieve your performance goals. Whether you want to be a big unit too, move better, train for longevity and/or fix weaknesses, Ahrie is your go-to guy. 11/10 you should book in with Ahrie at Perf.
Fantastic experience: Kelly Mann is the best and most knowledgeable coach I’ve had and spoken too. I have made a considerable amount of progress and have learnt a lot more about the sport and technique in general than i ever thought. Programming was flexible and when I had any injuries or issues, they were catered for and adjusted so I could continue making progress and the communication is super quick. If I ever have to recommend a coach I would recommend Kelly.

Positive experience: I had a 30 minute session with Ahrie ( Exercise Physiology) on Friday 24th January at 10-15 am. I made the appointment with Ahrie to improve my snatch technique. Ahrie's coaching was informative and effective. Ahrie emphasised the importance of : Foot position/ balance Chest position, eye focus and Bar path. Ahrie also followed up by providing movement drills/ exercises to assist with my progression. Overall the 30 minute exercise was helpful and effective and will improve my snatch technique.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my first exercise physiology session at Performotion with Ahrie. I’ve had sessions with him before he joined Performotion and he has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I find all his social media posts and tips very insightful and he is super supportive of my individual goals. I’ve had an injury for a while and he’s always found great ways of keeping me on track with my training and rehabilitation as well as exploring ways of working on my strength, despite having some limitations because of injury. I’m quite particular about what I do look for in a coach and clinician and I have found that Ahrie embodies these traits beautifully. Fantastic experience: Seen Ahrie for exercise physiology to improve reoccurring pain in my glute. He was really able to tailor a plan and exercises for me that not only worked in with my CrossFit training but reduced the pain down to nothing. Great facility to visit with everything you could need and will definitely see him for any other pains and niggles in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of a session with Ahrie here at PerforMotion. I had never done any exercise physiology before, but had preciously seen Ahrie for a remedial massage that was first class. The session was unreal with Ahrie giving me specific exercises targeting my weak areas such as hips, glutes and groin. I've walked away from it with an amazing program that is already having a positive effect after a few days! I can't wait to get into it more and see what other results I get. Fantastic experience: Went to see Ahrie at the recommendation of my son. Being a qualified exercise physiologist he knew he would take good care of me. I had treatment for a frozen shoulder and was keen to keep it moving and avoid it happening again, my son just wanted Mum to get fit and healthy. Ahrie is very motivating and knows what he's doing. I'm lifting weights and having fun, testing my limits but under expert guidance. I can highly recommend Ahrie at Performotion for anyone with either an injury, recovering or just a desire to get fit and healthy. You don't have to be young to want to keep moving and have fun doing so.

Fantastic experience: I went to PerforMotion to see if I could get past an old chronic arm injury that had been holding me back for many years and to learn more about proper form and approach in general. I was assigned John Schulze to help me with this and I’ve been very happy with the results. Not only did John come up with a number of exercises that almost entirely eliminate the pain, but he also helped me correct a contributing muscular imbalance and to get fitter and more confident than I’ve ever been before. Fantastic experience: Started seeing a sport Physiologist for my hip osteo arthritis to build muscle. Who knew I had muscle after losing so much strength. It's one of those gyms that isn't all prissy and pretentious. I also see Ethel who is just the best and I always find relief after my sessions with her.

Negative experience: Horrible loud music blasting all hours of the day. As if they sounds of people groaning and dropping weights all day was not annoying enough.
Fantastic experience: I have only visited the gym in person once, but have been doing weekly online programming with Sam. He is by far the best strength coach I’ve ever had, not only is the program format clean and easy to use, his communication and ability to teach is elite. The gym was vibrant, and full of professional and clean equipment when I did visit. Couldn’t more highly recommend not only the gym, but the coaches they have here.

Fantastic experience: Performotion was given to me as a last resort pre surgery to fix chronic back pain. Kelly identified the issue within 2 minutes, something the doctors and scans were unable to do, and prescribed some simple yet effective exercises and movements. A year later and not even a niggle! These magicians will ensure form and technique are correct whilst getting you back stronger than ever. Highly recommend anyone looking for strength training / exercise physiology to get in here!

Fantastic experience: I started training with the Exercise Physiologists at Performotion 2 years ago for a shoulder injury that I had for 5+ years. I couldn't do bench press without getting shoulder pain and had tried various approaches in that time with minimal improvement. Since working with Tom & Dave I've been able to bench painfree and am stronger than I've ever been. The girls working tirelessly behind the scenes (Kelly, Simone & Liv) keep the gym running smoothly and always make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Can't recommend these guys highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Was staying up in Brisbane for a week by myself and trained at PerforMotion gym while I was there. Great gym, really nice equipment and very good atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming and helped me out a lot. I had a great time and will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I started working with Tom Haynes almost 3 years ago. After a long and taxing military career I wasn't sure what my body would be able to handle moving in to competitive strength sports. Tom did and continues to work tirelessly with me in putting my body back together and performing at levels I never thought I would or could. Fantastic experience: When I first started using Michael Bates as a trainer I was overweight and had difficulty moving due a long standing knee injury. I lost 27kgs and have maintained that weight loss for 3 years and counting. I moved away from QLD and continued to follow the program Michael set for me. With weight loss no longer the main goal, I decided to challenge myself to take part in a 36km walk. I achieved the walk and did it in a time almost 45min fast than I expected! I have continued to work with Michael online to maintain the stability and integrity of my knee and have successfully avoided having to undergo joint replacement surgery. When I do choose to work with a trainer in my current home state, Michael works with them to ensure their understanding of my needs and how movement affects my injury (plus I can’t get away with anything! ). I put the effort in but if it wasn’t for Michael’s care, guidance and reinforcement throughout my transition to a healthier lifestyle and mindset I don’t believe I would be in the position I am in today both mentally and physically. I cannot recommend Michael highly enough, he quite literally changed my life.

Fantastic experience: Tom and Kelly have helped me initially with training and exercise programming after a neck disc fusion and later with diabetes management through to now providing coaching in powerlifting. I can’t rate them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Tom when I had two herniated discs and pretty severe nerve impingement, leading to numbness and weakness all down my right leg. Tom took on the challenge of this very angry, very sore, occasionally despairing netballer with a broken back and thanks to a combination of the rehab he put me through and some industrial grade anti-inflammatories I managed to avoid surgery and even get back on court after a few months. Tom not only helped me recover the strength and mobility I'd lost, but also helped me learn to have confidence in my back again after months of feeling like it had majorly let me down. I hate strength training and gyms in general but Tom puts up with my whining and manages not to roll his eyes at me too hard when I forget to do any homework he gives me. Thanks Tom.

Fantastic experience: Being old school (over 60), I didn't know what an exercise physiologist was. I'd injured my knee at zumba and had pain in the opposite hip to the point even walking wasn't enjoyable - I put it down to age-related arthritis and that was the end of zumba! Kelly convinced me to do a session with her and quickly identified the problematic muscle group around my knee that needed strengthening. It's hard to believe the difference that the right exercise can make to improve mobility and general enjoyment of movement. I've continued doing a regular session with Kelly or Tom, am totally pain free and stronger - my cardiologist confirmed I am fitter this year than I was last year and that has to be thanks to Kelly and Tom. I would highly recommend PerforMotion if you want to move and feel better at any age!

Fantastic experience: Initially started seeing Kelly with rehab post shoulder reconstruction. My shoulder is now better than it has been in decades. I'm now pregnant, and doing work to ensure strength and stability through pregnancy and beyond. I have trained with both Kelly and Tom and both EP's are at the top of their game. I've recommended friends who have also had stellar results and recoveries.

Fantastic experience: Kelly fixed my debilitating knee pain in just 2 sessions, 3 years ago. Since then she has coached me through 9 powerlifting competitions and kept me injury-free. Fantastic experience: I have had issues with my shoulder for years. Seen multiple PTs and doctors and nothing and no one seemed to help. Tom Haynes could tell almost immediately where my issues where coming from and we got to work I’m fixing it. We’ve only been working together a couple months and it’s insane the movement I’ve gained. I’m all the way in Afghanistan and doing this remotely and they are very accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Kelly for around 4 years now to help with chronic back pain. Prior to that I saw a number of different specialists with no lasting results. Kelly took a special interest in my case due to the severity of my condition, and has worked with me tirelessly over the years to provide physical and emotional support. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Kelly from Performotion for 8months now. When I started with Kelly, I had lost my love for powerlifting because I had kept hitting plateaus and developing little niggling injuries. In 8 months I have smashed PBs that I didn't think were possible for me, without any pain or limitation. Kelly doesn't just help with my lifting from a movement perspective, she has also helped me to build a healthier and more susutainable relationship with exercise. Fantastic experience: After having some shoulder niggles and hip tightness I decided to see Kelly an Exercise Physiologist to help with my powerlifting. Six months later I no longer feel broken with my training and as a result I enjoy my training much more now, while being more efficient with my lifting through superior technique. Definitely recommend Kelly or any other of the Exercise Physiologists here at PerforMotion as it's a great team that are very passionate about all fields of sports and exercise.

Fantastic experience: I started with Kelly 2 years ago. My shoulder was so bad that turning the steering wheel was a struggle. I'm now benching confidently, without pain. July last year, following a knee replacement, she did her magic and had me back squatting so quickly that at my 6 weeks check-in with my surgeon, he described my recovery as a “freak of nature”. I cannot recommend her enough. Do NOT suffer – go and get fixed.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Tom Haynes on and off for a few years now. He is always my first stop when I feel any pain or niggles from lifting. Whenever I see him I always think why didn't I come sooner. Injuries improve so much quicker with his help, I am forever grateful. Sessions are always fun and challenging. Fantastic experience: Performotion and the team are phenomenal at what they do. They go far and beyond for each and every client. Fantastic experience: Kelly at PerforMotion has helped me strengthen my back after years a recurring lower back injury. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Kelly in January 2020 as I was struggling to move past a persistent back injury which kept me from squatting and was really affecting my confidence under the bar. Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Tom face to face & remotely to assist with injury rehab and addressing muscular imbalances for the past 12 months or so. He’s professional, fantastic & works collaboratively with my Olympic weightlifting coach which makes for an awesome team! Fantastic experience: Kelly has been amazing. I have worked with a number of other professionals in the power lifting space prior to Kelly. Despite my dedication and attention to the program I had not been able to put more than 3 or 4 months together without breaking totally down from back pain. Kelly taught me the fundamentals. We are now over 12 months without a back issue, my strength and confidence are both at new levels. Couldn't be happier with that at this point.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Kelly now for about 18 months, after a knee surgery and hip surgery. I'm a competitive strength athlete, and wanted to improve my mobility and strength after a while out of the game. Working with Kelly has been a god-send. Fantastic experience: I came to Kelly after I was medically discharged from the Army with chronic pain from my injuries. Within 12 weeks I was able to come off my painkillers that I was on for a long time to needing none. I was able to stop using walking aids and get back into strength training pain free. Thanks to Kelly I am pain free.

Fantastic experience: The staff at PerforMotion are simple excellent. Kelly has built a fantastic team of intelligent, compassionate, motivated and caring individuals. Their coaching is exceptional, informative and easy to understand. If i have been unable to understand or do an exercise, all of the coaches have taken time out of their day to assist and make sure I am lifting in a healthy, happy and safe manner. The gym is always clean (including bathrooms), the equipment is well maintained. I could not recommend higher.
