Ryderwear Gym & Retail Tranmere

Fantastic experience: I joined Ryderwear Gym Tranmere on opening day, and after training at many gyms across Adelaide and around the world, I can confidently say this is one of the best gyms for the money spent.

Positive experience: Decent gym, they seem to be always upgrading features in it. Pros: quality equipment, cheap membership price, variety of equipment. Cons: sometimes quite stuffy, no boxing equipment, 4 car parks.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this gym since it opened and I have to give a big call out to Francesca. She is always so friendly and professional. Since she has joined the gym is run efficiently and compliant. She is an asset to this gym and her management and people skills are exceptional so much so I would gladly have her work in my organisation. Well done Francesca. Thankyou for the big warming smile every time I come to the gym.

Negative experience: Substandard customer service and maintenance. Despite canceling my membership well in advance, they failed to stop my direct debit, and I’ve emailed multiple times to request a refund, but have received no response or resolution. Additionally, the gym's equipment is poorly organised—The gym is also quite cluttered e.g. heavy weights are placed on the top racks and lighter weights on the bottom (which shows a lack of consideration for those who use lighter weights) and the staff downstairs seem more focused on chatting with their friends than maintaining the space.

Negative experience: Quality of the tights feels like they’re from AliExpress for almost triple the price. Same tag as the ones I bought from AliExpress. Customer service is ridiculous. Still eating for them to process my refund from almost 2 weeks ago and when I asked when it was going to be done, they said allow 7-10 business days to receive refund, what a joke, having to wait that long is just outrageous.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I moved from Derrimut Gym to Ryderwear almost 2 years ago. We are so happy here. The equipment is always in perfect condition, benches aren’t all ripped like derrimut and the gym is clean no gross bo smell. Has a great selection of equipment, and is very clean. Bathrooms are beautiful also. Staff are very polite, caring and considerate. Also a great selection of apparel downstairs and is always so tidy, never anything out of place. Fantastic gym!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at Ryderwear Tranmere for about 12 months now, it’s a fantastic gym always is very clean and well maintained, always smells fresh. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been training for over 30 years and have been to many gyms around Adelaide and Ryderwear definitely takes the number 1 position. John the personal trainer is also great - he’s very knowledgeable and always keen to give advice. Honestly, Ryderwear is the best gym in the Eastern Suburbs. Keep up the great work guys, definitely will be renewing my membership!

Fantastic experience: The staff is really friendly and they actually listen when the members talk to them about issues with the gym, like the temperature. Feels good to have them care about our concerns

Negative experience: Great gym, but can you guys fix equipment when it breaks instead of letting the smith machine be broken for over 2 weeks. And can you also stop being cheap and turn on the A/C upstairs because it feels like a sauna in here.

Fantastic experience: Clean, tidy and convenient

Positive experience: Great service from staff. Excellent gym facilities with 24hr access. Works well for me.

Negative experience: They signed up underage kids then wouldn’t let them go in and didn’t refund payments.

Negative experience: New management is rude to long time members. Would much rather travel the extra 30mins to train at Alberton rather then the 5 mins down the road to tranmere. Others at the gym are now doing the same.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I've been to in Adelaide! I absolutely love it here. It has all the best work out equipment, it's clean, fresh & crisp, excellent for working up a sweat! The staff & manager Fran are absolutely fantastic, friendly & helpful it's a wonderful positive environment to train in & the shop is always so tempting & beautiful, with great quality affordable clothing & accessories! Positive experience: Not the best Ryder wear gym but still a great gym to get a workout in

Negative experience: No hand soap in toilets, the sign says to use disabled toilet, absolutely unhygienic, everyone must be going around the gym with dirty hands.

Negative experience: Im member of Ryderwear Tranmere over 18 months. They always ttaking money, without any permission. I was check my ryderwear credit info and call the company. They dont have any reasonable anwers how its happened. This just not for, talk to few member thay have similar experience. Carefully reading what agreement you going sign, before you signed. Not recommend this gym at all.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, not too big but big enough and has all the equipment you should need :-). I train pretty hard and NEED that good equipment ;-). Also the music is at a good enough level that I can listen even to podcasts on my ear buds which I SO appreciate. This means I can relax into my workout unlike another place I also go to (not for much longer) that blasts music and makes everything stressful. The staff here and the other locations at Flinders Park and Alberton are ALWAYS friendly ...always hello and goodbye...this is very very appreciated. Wonderful friendly service this morning from Stephanie....thank you!

Positive experience: Friendly staff but the gym is very dirty and I also don't understand the admin fees every 2/3 months that they charge as an extra.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience. Kalani was super helpful with finding clothes for me and very friendly and supportive. Even took photos for me Great staff, awesome shop and excellent gym make it a pleasure to train there everytime.

Positive experience: I enjoy this gym and it has a good mix of crowd. Parking at front of building should be stopped due to causing blind spots for those exiting. And there is not enough parking for the peak times. Cleanliness is good. Staff are really nice and friendly. Annoying that there is only ONE drink fountain for the WHOLE gym and the second one is out of order and has been for 6+ months. Not sure if this is a ploy to encourage drink sales downstairs …. lol

Positive experience: Great gym feels like a second home along with friendly staff. Gets crowded around 2 and 3pm. Only down side is the debit success organisation they’re with, who love to scam and overcharge- should only be paying $7.95 but end up having $22 taken out of nowhere. Other than that I love this place

Positive experience: Ryderwear Gym has almost everything you’d expect in a gym. Cons: Shower spots are limited, it doesn’t have hot sauna.

Negative experience: Seems ok but the website needs more pictures of the inside gym.

Fantastic experience: Comprehensive selection of free and machine weights. Loads of space. Some really nice leg options if that's your jam.
