Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with a great vibe and different equipment to help with bodybuilding goals

Positive experience: Good facility and good equipment Very busy during peak times

Negative experience: I've just finished a years membership here and to say I'm glad to be out of it is an understatement! The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful and make an effort to see how you're going and how training is! Couldn't fault them! Equipment, great variety of machines to specifically target different muscle groups, always works well and the place is clean! Okay the negative: I've never trained at a gym in my life where there are so many people with cameras that don't actually work out! Lots of influencer type people which brings in a load of young guys that just sit on the machines and play on their phones! I'm sure this isn't exclusive to Ryderwear but it's definitely more noticeable! The amount of huge guys in there that take their shirts off and pose is of a high number. with little respect for the not as fit people in the gym! If you want to be with the IN crowd then this is your gym however if you want to work out properly then I'd avoid it like the plague! Definitely geared towards a certain demographic of clients even the ones that are on the tv advertising saying go harder, train harder you'd have to question their natural ability! Anyway I'm glad I'm out of it! Worst gym I've ever trained at!

Positive experience: Not a really good gym it’s okay for beginners but if you want to to take your fitness journey to the next level don’t go here

Fantastic experience: Great facilities with state of the art equipment and a bargain yearly membership, been to a lot of gyms and this wins the value for money hands down

Negative experience: Please check the details before you sign the contract. I cancelled my membership but still money is deducted from my account.

Fantastic experience: Love gym! Great variety of equipment, plenty of room. It can be busy at times, but I have only been in the early morning.

Fantastic experience: I just had to cancel my membership because I moved away from the area and I miss it already. I've done two sessions at Revo Glenelg and it's got absolutely nothing on Ryder. It's really made me appreciate what I had there. Tonnes of brand new gear, big open space. Loved it.

Fantastic experience: So I was on my way to cancel my membership because of a personal issue with debitsuccess. I believe I spoke to the manager. Her name is Mel. I walk in to express sadness and frustration and the first response I received was understanding and empathy - awesome. I explain I don’t really want to leave but it’s out of principal. She explains I’m not the only one (debitsuccess FIX YOUR PENALTY FEES PLEASE!) Mel explained that it’s unfortunate to see me go and then we just briefly chatted about the issue at hand. She gave me the idea of paying your membership in advance - problem solved! I don’t really want to change gyms but if debitsuccess is the company most gyms use, sadly, I’m not gonna be able to avoid them. Mel single handedly saved my membership with that idea of paying ahead of time - she’s an asset to that place. Owners - keep her.

Negative experience: Full of wannabe IG "influencers" more interested in taking selfies than working out. Had an obnoxious girl called "Chleo" set up a tripod in front of me. Maybe lift some weights and you might actually look like you lift. Stay clear, obviously nobody joins a gym to workout any more.

Fantastic experience: I've just joined up today. This gym is freaking awesome. The way it's set up is mind blowing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I've read alot of reviews and hate the 2 star bad reviews given. They don't know what they're talking about especially the racist remark one given. It would be great if they had a pull over machine which is hardly seen anymore in gyms , a sit up bench and hopefully a sauna in here one day that will be looked after by the staff and members. All in all freaking awesome gym. I've found my new and forever gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is incredibly spacious with it’s two stories and bonus outside gym. As a result, even on the busiest of times, you would most definitely find little to no struggle finding the equipment you desire. The staff are welcoming and have no worries answering questions and/or having a general chat. The gym is also clean and well maintained by staff and fellow gym members. Oh, did I mention it has a sauna? It’s got a sauna. You do have to book it in though. It’s still got a sauna. Very Nice

Fantastic experience: Have to say it’s the best gym around! Biggest workout area, plenty of benches, racks and equipments. You can tell that receptionist are all gym addicted and very warm. Btw there are always someone who has great shape in the gym that you can admire!

Positive experience: Fantastic equipment for the price despite not having the convenience of a padlock able locker, but fair enough. If I could change one thing though it would be the racially offensive R&B music dropping the "N- bomb" every second song. Kinda feels like you're drinking alcohol in a teenagers car on a Saturday night before parentals start calling to begin the grounding process. I'd rate 5 stars if they played happier beats.

Negative experience: yeaaa, first impressions, not great. Probably personal, is very start-of-the-art etc etc but feels a bit Instagrammy, muscly. Not my thing but if it's yours, perfect match. Just didn't feel like a welcoming space if I'm honest

Fantastic experience: Rarely have I had to wait for a machine that I need as there are plenty of them and heaps of other options to choose from too. I would absolutely recommend this gym if you really want to "get it done"

Fantastic experience: Mel and the team at Alberton are so friendly and helpful, they made me feel so comfortable the moment I walked in. The gym itself has the best equipment such as hammerstrength and is one of the best atmospheres I have ever trained in. Gym is extremely clean and the staff are always cleaning around the place! I would recommend all my friends here, beginner to advance this gym has it all for everyone!

Fantastic experience: Ryderwear is definitely my preferred gym in Adelaide, in comparison to its competitors, the gym is in much better condition and the environment on the floor is extremely positive and friendly. The staff are always super friendly, especially Riley who is always there to lend a hand when it comes to supplements or clothing.

Fantastic experience: I started coming here when it first opened & I haven't stopped since. Sure, they have the latest & greatest in equipment and machinery, but it's the aura & the service that sets it apart from anywhere else that I have ever been prior. Mel & Riley are genuinely interested in my personal progression, and they make me feel like part of the Ryderwear community by always having a quick chat with me upon entry & when I exit. They have changed my mindset towards training in general, and I credit those two in particular for that. Thanks Ryderwear, you have changed me for the better.

Fantastic experience: So I previously trained at the goodlife royal park for about 5 years and it was the gym that brought me into the world of lifting weights. When I realised there was not quite enough equipment there, I decided to start looking for a different gym. One day I was driving on Port Road and accidentally noticed ryderwear alberton was there I walked in with my son and asked for a brief tour. I can’t remember his name, but there was a gentleman who helped me by briefly showing me around the two storeys and when I saw how many benches were available, I was immediately hooked It’s been about 4 months now, and it’s become my training gym. It’s simply offered everything that the Goodlife gym unfortunately couldn’t supply and I have no bad blood with good life, but Ryderwear had so much equipment that I just couldn’t say no. People are really nice and the price is cheaper than most gyms out there. Thanks for this gym, game changer for me.
