Anytime Fitness Goulburn

Positive experience: Decent gym, they just really need better cooling it’s like a sauna in there. Hot and humid inside at 4am…

Negative experience: you need a lawyer to be able to cancel your membership because they make it so hard for you to do. Would never consider rejoining anytime fitness especially when other gyms make it so easy to cancel or pause memberships. These guys are no better then scammers themselves.

Fantastic experience: A great Anytime Fitness gym with a setup that has enough room for all the essentials and space to not be tripping over other people without being an enormous warehouse, has a good selection of weights and machines, and is located near coffee, food and supplement store across the road. They don’t have a vending machine but like I said across the road is Coles, their water machine doesn’t have a bubbler it only has the tap so bring own water. Staff keep it clean and neat, good vibe and facilities as good as you get in a 24hr gym. Membership fees just went up which made me consider if I should stay but coming to this quality gym feels worth it, I hope the staff are seeing some of the fee rises

Fantastic experience: This was the first time I actually used my gym membership for anything other than my local Victorian one, having to dash in for a shower after a day abseiling! Clean shower, all soaps and shampoos are available on the washbasin bench, plenty of nearby parking.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Anytime fitness for a few weeks now, the cleanliness is phenomenal and the equipment has been top notch. The staff have been so friendly and extremely helpful.

Fantastic experience: 18.9.24 This is a well set out and functional gym. It's located in town with plenty of parking close. All equipment appeared to be well looked fter and was functional and was well laid out. Staff and members were friendly. If you're going to use the showers take your own soap and shampoo as none is supplied at this location. 25.9.24 I visited this fine gym again today. The cleaner was there when I visited and she is thorough. Well done. Suggest more coat hooks are put up in showers as well can you either fix the water cooler or put disposable cups out so members can use the cooler without a water bottle. Or put a wipe station next to the cooler so members can clean their hand before putting their hand under the bottle filler to drink water for the cooler. I havent done that since I was at school 50 years ago. This is a health issue and you don't want members drinking from taps in the toilets.

Negative experience: Unfriendly miserable staff member that greeted us at the door. Ridiculous prices and no short term contracts available without paying stupid sign up cost. Get with the times

Fantastic experience: Anytime fitness would have to be the gym to go to, I’ve tried others but felt very judged, being an older female people are quick to judge but not at Anytime fitness, the people are great from the members to Bre the manager and especially Manii the personal trainer he will get you into shape real quick. They have classes that are run by Manii and are awesome, fun and don’t cost any extra, I would absolutely recommend Anytime fitness to anyone looking at making a real change..

Negative experience: Didn't answer their phone all morning. When I visited during staff hours hoping to sign up, it was unattended for at least 20 minutes.

Positive experience: It's better since it has been relocated. The new space is nicer

Negative experience: Getting really tired of this broken place, a year of saying a new place is coming, still nothing. Front door broken for a week, have to cut my sessions in half or not be able to go at all, can't even get inside unless staff are there now. it's really not acceptable. Feel bad for the staff when the owner just doesn't seem to care and they can't really do much about it.

Fantastic experience: Dear Owner. Deservingly 5 star rating. I read the bad reviews to my wife as I am on a work trip. It is not as bad as the reviews. Equipment is dated, but functions which should be a testament to the longevity of the manufacturer. It's 7am in a country town. Not 5am in a CBD gym. Im grateful i can train. The gym is deep the free weight area has everything. The music is not obnoxiously loud and the fans are clean. My pet peeve is a dirty fan. One of the the nicest gyms I've been in. * * * * * Sadly the gun has been susceptible to the usual gym damage, ego lifters are notorious for breaking stuff and taking no responsibilty. Decent gym equipment is not cheap. There is noticable flood/roof collapse damage and considerations must be made. I'd prefer this than not having a gym at all. Thank you for staying open. Much appreciated. * * * * *

Negative experience: Travelled Aus and this is by far the worst Anytime I've been too. Smelly, awful lighting/dingy and terrible water pressure in showers

Fantastic experience: I am working on a renewable project in the region and finding Anytime Fitness in Goulburn was a godsend. While the gym isn’t brand new, the owner let me know they are about to change location and will have a brand new gym very soon. Overall I felt safe, comfortable and the staff were very accomodating. Fantastic experience: The staff were absolutely lovely when I went to join. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable to be there. I am new to training and was hesitant at first with joining a large gym. Looks like this club has been taken over by new management recently and they have been changing a lot to make it a much nicer venue. It has all the equipment I could ever use. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Negative experience: Easily the worst gym in the Anytime franchise, Terrible owner and lazy staff Owner Oliver has other gyms, they seems to be nice but doing nothing with this one, just letting it degrade even more. Fake 5 star reviews from their staff (Grace) There has been VOMIT on the front entrance for 6 MONTHS, owner has visited multiple times and walked straight past it. Equipment broken for YEARS Most equipment is 10+ years old, the treadmills are still equipped with original first gen iPhone chargers, 15 years old just to give you an idea. Staff has been told multiple times about broken equipment and it's still broken. Stained floors. Place smells disgusting most of the time as there's 0 fresh air. I've had to leave part way through a session it's smelled that bad some days. The only time this gym gets a proper clean is when there's a sale to try get new members so it doesn't seem like garbage dump till after you're already in a contract. Ive seen other Anytime gyms get completely refurbished twice while this one is the same as the day it opened and it shows

Negative experience: Guys, the gym needs to be throughly cleaned urgently. It absolutely stinks of entrenched body odour that hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. Please read all the other comments to this effect and get it sorted next week as a priority.

Negative experience: Update: 3 years later the I still have the useless fob, and it's still available for $50 (half price). They said I can use it again if I want to go back to train. Never used it again, never went back, never will use their dodgy service again. Original review: The reason of my bad review is the miscommunication about the fob key "deposit" which isn't a deposit in reality. If you cancel your membership, you can keep that useless piece of plastic you bought for $100 without intend to buy it! Excellent way of ripping off people, and not to mention the staff who is scornfully smiling on my dissapontment.

Positive experience: Visited the club during the mid morning and had the place almost to myself, facilities where nice and clean. All the machine seemed well maintained and in working order, bathrooms where clean and well maintained also. The music provided in the club was strangely being played through a home stereo unit - this was fine in the weights area but I could imagine the further away you where the quieter it would be. Outside of that quirk it was a pretty stock standard anytime - just like they should be right

Positive experience: Amenities were dirty, gym equipment unmaintained and smelly. It might have just been a bad day. Its a shame this gym let's the franchise down by not maintaining a high standard.

Negative experience: Place is alright,and the membership discounts and package not so transparent
