As a mature gym goer that prioritises function fitness this gym is perfect for me. Top quality range of equipment kept to high standards, but most importanly a friendly place for all. Staff and owners are always welcoming and care about their members. Highly recommend Snap Manly West.

I am now a regular and love it. The team are very friendly and helpful and clearly have the skills and qualifications to assist everyone's needs. Its now part of my weekly routine and I can see the results. No hesitation in recommending Snap Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I never felt comfortable in a gym environment until I joined SNAP in Manly West. The staff are wonderful - warm friendly and very patient, explaining everything without jargon. I particularly like the smaller environment with well laid out equipment that looks to be near new and includes QR codes for instructions. Negative experience: **UPDATE** Thank you for your response, but I must clarify a few inaccuracies in your account of the situation. Firstly, I did not "storm in" to pay the debt, nor did I refuse to pay it. I have been incredibly busy finishing my degree and traveling over the Christmas and New Year period. It is now only the second week of January, and I believe sufficient time to address this matter was not provided. When I was asked to come into the club to settle the payment, I did so during your stated staffed hours, only to find no one was there to assist me. This added unnecessary frustration to an already stressful situation. To suggest I refused to pay is not only untrue but also dismissive of the efforts I’ve made to resolve this matter despite my busy schedule. What is truly disappointing is your decision to misrepresent the situation in an attempt to shift the blame rather than taking responsibility and working toward a resolution. It’s clear there was a breakdown in communication, and the way this was handled on your part has been far from professional. I hope you can reflect on how this has been managed and take steps to improve communication and customer service going forward. It’s unfortunate that instead of rectifying the situation, your response attempts to deflect and mischaracterise the events. ---------------------------------------- As a loyal Snap Fitness member for over six years, I’ve always appreciated the convenience of the brand. However, my experience at Snap Fitness Manly West has been deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this gym to anyone. The facility itself is extremely small, making it challenging to work out comfortably, even during off-peak hours. To add to this, the reception staff fail to create a welcoming atmosphere, which is a basic expectation for any gym. When I moved to Brisbane, I decided to upgrade my membership to include access to all Snap Fitness locations across Australia. Without my knowledge or consent, I was placed on a contract - a decision I would never have agreed to, given my long-standing history as a member. Later, when I tried to cancel my membership, I was shocked to learn they intended to charge me almost $200 in cancellation fees. Not agreeing to this, I contacted my bank to stop the direct debit. This all occurred at the end of November, during a particularly busy period as I was finishing my degree and spending time with my family in Mackay over Christmas and New Year’s. Despite this, Snap Fitness chose to send a $71 payment to a debt collector. It’s both sad and frustrating that they would take such an approach during what is traditionally a downtime period for many people. In contrast, I signed up with Goodlife in Wynnum, and their team has been incredibly accommodating. They even offered me a free one-month membership while this issue was being resolved, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. The overall customer service and experience at Snap Fitness Manly West have been appalling. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to work with members are unacceptable. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a gym that values its members and operates with professionalism and integrity.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have attended in the last 20 years. It has a lovely vibe. All ages. Friendly staff and customers. They cater for us oldies and I'm the youngest in one of the classes on a Tuesday! Very professional and clean. I highly recommend it!

Negative experience: I couldn't even ask anything about joining the gym. Basically, I walked in to ask about joining the gym, I just moved to the area. The person behind the counter straight away wanted me to fill in all my personal info on her iPad. I said that I just wanted to ask about the cost, joining fees, etc. She said that she can't tell me anything until I fill in my info. So I just walked out. Very disappointing. To owner: Maybe the reception staff needs a little more customer service training or some other approach to keep new clients from walking out of your business.

And the matter was taken to consumer affairs. This response from snap fitness Manly West simply confirms your disregard and disrespect for new customers. ********** Almost harassed me to join after dropping in. As soon as I joined not a word. And now I'm denied entry while still paying a membership. You guys are theives . Avoid at all cost.

Negative experience: Gave me 28 days "free" I cancelled within days of taking membership out, tried to cancel more than 3 times and now been lumped with the payment for membership. NOT HAPPY and will be taking this further.

Positive experience: Reasonable equipment, quite clean and tidy, so it’s a good functional gym. Recent equipment upgrades and additions were nice to see. Loses points though for a terrible contract that requires an additional month of payments from time of cancellation, even beyond initial 12 month contract period, and I found the staff at this gym to be quite aloof and unapproachable – there was even a passive aggressive vibe when approached for any enquiries. At the end of the day, I guess you get what you pay for…? Update in response to reply: firstly, you’ve spelt my name wrong. Secondly, I feel your response simply confirms my summary of the customer service, even though I noted the gym itself being good from a practical point of view. Further, my contract is ended so why would I need to contact you, as aside from the customer service falling short of what you say it is this is still a positive (and honest) review from a facilities and value perspective?

Fantastic experience: Ryan and the team at Snap Manly West provide a comprehensive gym and training facility. They are focused on your goals and assist you in which ever way you need. Ryan has been great in regularly checking my form and safety during PT sessions, to ensure my journey is safe and injury free. There is a variety of group classes and the membership is frequently asked what they would like in regards to group classes and challenges. The gym is always clean, has a great group of clients and a fun vibe! See you in gym soon!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, easy access location, friendly vibe and weekly PT sessions with Ryan keeps me moving with my hectic office job.

Negative experience: In the beginning everything is good but when you want to finish the membership, they just take money from your account with the excuse that is a mistake from the system and they will give the money back, but it never happens.. I won’t recommend this gym

Fantastic experience: Great local gym. They have a wide array of machines, plenty of free weights and treadmills etc. Clean facilities and super easy parking, which is ironic I know.

Fantastic experience: Great gym has everything you need. Sales guys weren't pushy. Was there at peak hour, it was busy but not crazy. Could use a little more free space around the free weights section but it's workable. Equipments all relatively new and well maintained. Clean and tidy. Members seem friendly, didn't see many meathead types.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym with really supportive staff, Cathy the Manager helped me overcome type 2 Diabetes, with a great Diet and exercise plan,a great safe environment to excersise in. Because it's a 24hr hour gym means that I can go anytime and Theres plenty of parking to.

Fantastic experience: This gym in Manly is such a great way to get fit, I loved the styku body scan because it showed me exactly where I needed to work harder on my fitness goals. I love the weights and the classes. I have tried a few gyms in manly and across redlands and Brisbane but I feel really comfortable with the trainers and the gym manager Cathy is lovely! Totally recommend Snap Fitness Manly for anyone trying to improve their health and lose weight.
