Life BJJ

Negative experience: Taren Point Life BJJ: I signed up my son for a '3 month' No Gi trial over the summer break (October to January). Contacted management to finish up when the 3 month trial was to be done. Was told that I need to give 1 month notice (even though I signed a contract for 3 months only, on a payment plan for this time frame). I also noted a higher payment ($38 extra) taken in December and questioned this to management. He said it was for Grading. My son is in a No Gi class (no belts involved) Not sure what is the point for this extra cost with no certificate given for this 'grading'. My son enjoyed the classes, and the teachers are good, but I found this whole experience a big money grab (Bernardo).

Fantastic experience: A great place to train and learn. My 3 kids train here almost every day. They love it! A positive, welcoming atmosphere with phenomenal instructors.

Fantastic experience: Life BJJ is an amazing Jiu Jitsu academy. Our son has absolutely loved learning the art and skill of BJJ with the awesome instructors at Life BJJ. It’s a great way to get strong, keep fit, learn self discipline and self defence. Great learning environment and fun for the kids. Honestly can’t rate Bernardo and his team highly enough and definitely recommend to anyone thinking of trying BJJ.

The facilities are clean and well-maintained, contributing to an overall positive experience. If you’re looking for a high-quality BJJ gym where you can learn, grow, and be part of a great community, I can’t recommend Life BJJ enough!

Fantastic experience: The best BJJ gym in the shire, if not Australia. The culture is great where we train hard but leave the ego at the door. I have been training for more than 2 years consistently and really enjoy the camaraderie and training under some of the best in Australia like Professor Bernardo, Lucas, Pietro & Jimmy. Also my 2 kids train and the impact on their confidence and resilience is massive. No need for anti-bullying class, just train BJJ. It’s better than therapy. Just watch out for the wrist locks and heel hooks. But in all seriousness I wouldn’t be the man I am today without life BJJ x
