Snap Fitness 24/7 Cronulla

Negative experience: The gym is ok, but not only they have classes that take half of the already small gym on the rush hour, they also have not so friendly staff. The coach, Alex, who seems sympathetic to most of the customers is always annoyed by people using “his” room near his classes time. In fact it feels like he sees himself as the owner of the business. On Monday 18/11/2024 I had the worst experience with him when I wanted to use the abdominal wheel (that they only have one in the whole gym- mind you it costs about 5$) he approached me with an attitude I never saw him having with other customers and took it not caring for what I was telling him. He in fact walked away with it and left me talking by myself when I was gonna use it for 10 reps only. He looked so stressed that it was like I was using his personal items and not part of the gym equipment. After I made a complain with the staff he gave back another equipment, not the one I was using and he in person took it, and said I “misunderstood” what happened. As someone with an accent I get that a lot but not only I understood him very well, so did him too. Felt incredibly unwelcome and totally uncomfortable, very disrespectful and a shame honestly. I hope he get better as a person in the future, but it is what it is. Never been so inconsiderate in a environment that I am a customer like any other.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Firstly, the team here are fantastic, they consistently make you feel welcome and supported but also give you space to get on with your training. Literally every person in the team I interact with or observe is genuine in their approach to caring for members. Equipment is perfect, there is always more than enough to go around and being 24/7 it means a you can go in off-peak times and in some cases have the whole place to yourself. If you're looking for a welcoming space with everything you need (and more) to get/stay in shape then you'll be hard pressed to find a better gym to join. And, you're right next to the beach, what more could you ask for!

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, friendly staff and long opening hours. The woman who works in the crèche, Via, is amazing. She knows all the kids individually and what they like to play with and spends time thinking up creative activities for them to do. Highly recommend this gym!

Negative experience: What's going on here? What's the point of having a steam room and not being able to use it? It's not permitted to sip water from the bubbler..?? What's next?? Restricted access to the toilets, 20kg max deadlift??

Fantastic experience: Such a great gym, perfect size + all the staff are so friendly and supportive. I love doing the group classes, they push me to do my best and make me feel my best! Plus it’s in such a dreamy location

Negative experience: It's not 24 hrs. Some of the staff aren't very understanding, sympathetic, and compassionate. The gym is ok. Everything is just business, money, and what you can take from a customer. That will do me!!

Negative experience: Becoming increasingly frustrating. Broken equipment and a sauna that has been out of order for over a year now. Please get the cables and sauna fixed. I was told the sauna was about to be fixed when I joined, still being used as a storage room.

Fantastic experience: This place has the best staff Emma will help you with everything and is quick to respond to any questions. Alex the PT has been an absolute life saver. when I started with Alex I couldn't walk more than 1km without being in total agony due to ongoing health issues. Over the course of 12 months with him I regained the ability to go for long hikes, get fitter and stronger. The bloke takes time out of his day to give you guidance and how to correct your form and will have a laugh while doing so. This place has changed my life and I wouldn't have done it with out their help. Cheers Peeps!!!

Fantastic experience: What a magnificent gym ,with great cardio and free weights room over 10 different cardio machines but also the dumbbells go all the way up to 50s Al much room to move around with no lining up for a gym but also you catch the view of Cronulla beach,cheapest gym membership in Cronulla with amazing deals coming with the membership I highly recommend

Positive experience: My review is mostly about the people, which I equate to quality and integrity. The professionalism of Emma (Manager) far outshines the experience I have had elsewhere. She has revived my faith that a gym can also be run well - professional, polite, efficient and NOT pushy. The gym has everything needed for a mixed programme and it is in a great location. I only took one star off as the showers are pretty mucky, but that is an easy fix.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Cronulla. Emma, Jamie and Alex are super nice. This is not a ego/fanatic gym but a gym that allows you to freely work on your body. Equipment is great and classes complement the workout well. Personal trainers are there giving you advises if needed. Facilities are great.

Negative experience: This is the worst gym I’ve ever trained at, bathrooms/steam room are filthy, no natural light, old run down equipment. On top of that management have created a terrible atmosphere, it’s a typical big chain gym, become a member at your own risk. Plenty of better options in Cronulla.

Fantastic experience: No judgements, everyone is so friendly and it has a great atmosphere! Right on the beach at Cronulla it has everything you need. Group fitness, free childminding, big free weights area and cardio Love this place and the people!

Negative experience: Female manager declined my membership because her current boyfriend was my boyfriend when I was 15.... 9 years ago. 1 year ago he sent me illicit photos which i immediately sent to her and she thanked me. She is still dating him today but. I was advised it was a "conflict of interest" but seems to me as though it's just immature, unprofessional BS. Have messaged their head office to get some answers today because her cheating boyfriend has nothing to do with my training. Update: Operations Manager contacted me today and stated that the cheating boyfriend and immature employee are too valuable and I should look for another gym. Happy to state I will be making a discrimination case this afternoon after this encounter.

Fantastic experience: I normally train at snap fitness in the brisbane region but was down here visiting family. This gym was the most well maintained gym I have ever had the pleasure of using!!! All the weights were tidy, the gym was clean and the facilities were in immaculate condition. I look forward to training here again in the future!!

Fantastic experience: We are visiting Australia from Canada and upon arriving immediately set out to find a local gym in Cronulla to keep up with my workouts. We stumbled across Snap Fitness and were warmly welcomed to Cronulla and Snap Fitness by Rick Goddard. He was extremely accommodating and took the time to provide us with a tour of the facility and give an overview of the classes. He immediately sent me a link to sign up for classes making everything so so easy. I have attended three so far and have loved every one of them. Originally I came just to do weights but was so impressed with the spin bikes, treadmills, weights and classes - I have been trying them all!! The facility is clean, fully stocked with anything you could ever want and also conveniently located to our hotel, the beach and downtown. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I actually like the gym so much that when I get back to Canada I am going to have a look at the one located near my office. Thanks so much Rick and staff. Mary Hulti

And well Rick is just an all round legend, who’s smile as wide as his broad shoulders, lights up whichever gym floor has the privilege of being under his most capable command. As a former employee during my time in Melbourne, he was firm but fair whilst being a lot of fun too. I feel lucky to have met them and gained valuable insight into what it takes to be the best in the business. The right environment for long-term, lasting results guaranteed with these two. The highest recommendation - get down to Snap Cronulla!

Fantastic experience: Rick is very friendly, approachable and helpful. When I first joined the gym, he made sure I am comfortable with the gym equipments and proactively provided me with some workouts. Gym is very clean and spacious with good ventilation. Great selection of equipments.

Fantastic experience: If you visit this gym, you must look for Ricky Goddard. Best PT I have trained with to lose almost 15kg during my body transformation challenge a couple years ago. Not only is Ricky an awesome trainer, he is a genuine person who will go above and beyond to help people out in many other ways. He has so much knowledge about the fitness industry including machinery, nutrition, supplementation etc. Cronulla is so lucky to have world class trainer like Ricky locally - A gym is only as good as the person who runs it.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion it is the best gym near Cronulla station. It is working 24/7. There are new good equipment. It’s also fine for weight lifting since has power squatting frame, steam, CrossFit area. Plus good location with beach view. Only one minus is membership fee 150$.
