Derrimut 24:7 Gym

Negative experience: Not happy Love the Pilates classes but they are always full and now they have cut the number of classes. Never going to get in

Positive experience: Equipment is always broken, air con is always playing up, one of the water fountains is always broken, no scales. You get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Seaford is light and has a fresh look to it. The womens area is very cool with great working AC.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym and friendly staff

Negative experience: Absolutely unethical company and practice. They double their fees within months of joining. Don't fall victim to their marketing schemes.

Fantastic experience: Convenient, great food options and enough equipment that I've never gone in and had to wait

Positive experience: Huge gym, great equipment and Pilates room. Poor customer service, rude behavior from some of the staff, specially the Pilates instructor and some reception ladies.

Fantastic experience: This one is the strict gym. The one at Noarlunga is more relaxed .When I go to Pilates they consistently enforce the enclosed shoe policy when walking into the gym. This initially bothered me but I got used to it. All staff members here are very professional, experienced and kind. My favourite Pilates instructor is Cloe Neophytou! I would rate her 10/10 for her ability to teach exercises and ability to give me feedback to continuously improve. Her kind, enthusiastic and calm demeanor makes me look forward to coming to her classes (if you can get in because she is so popular!) I do wish the sauna at this gym was hotter - perhaps more insulation/ filling in the gaps to prevent air escaping would help? Overall, this is my favourite gym and I love Derrimut so much!

Negative experience: A really good gym. But give it two stars that you are gatekeeping the times people can actually do Pilates. I personally do not like instructor led classes and prefer YouTube. Install more cameras and instruct people to leave the door open whilst In Pilates room because I honestly don’t want to keep driving to Noarlunga when I can come here. Even at Smithfield you can use the Pilates room when ever and all- midnight and past.

Positive experience: Needs an assault bike, a reverse hyper extension and a dry sauna , then it be 4 star. And proactive service be good.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to gyms all over the world and this particular gym in Seaford meadows is the best I’ve seen!! It’s clean, detailed and has the most comprehensive equipment I’ve seen!!!

Negative experience: Used to be a little overflow gym, which would sometimes be really quiet which was great. Now the little gyms been closed down, I'm assuming because of those quiet times and the alternative is a busy, packed gym which is further away and way less inspiring to visit. Needless to say, I didn't renew, and have taken up walking again

Fantastic experience: Great gym and bit quieter than Noarlunga which is a nice break from the crazy, but my review is for the Pilates class I attended this morning. It was a terrible experience, instructor crammed so much into most of the lesson working only on one side then rushed the last 10 -15min trying to quickly replicate the other side. Spring weights remained the same the entire workout so felt like nothing was accomplished. Instructor advised we can take our socks off for extra grip while doing an exercise but never gave us time to put them back on, she proceeded to advise us ( my friend and I) loudly in front of everyone that we are not aloud to workout with our socks off Never doing Pilates in Seaford again, you guys need an instructor who actually knows what they doing, like the girls down at Noarlunga. Fantastic gym tho!!

Fantastic experience: Massive gym, huge selection of workout equipment. Bought a membership on special, paying less than half of my previous gym membership

Negative experience: if i could give a review 0 stars i would. The customer service and member care is absolutely appalling. the company has no care about their members and only cares about what goes into their pockets. I didn’t even know i was a member as i didn’t pay the full member fee. no one contacted me, i didn’t receive any emails, calls and nothing was transferred out my bank regarding membership payments. when i signed up initially they said it was ok to not pay the full membership fee and come back when i could due to a misunderstanding. then when i contacted the gym on multiple occasions to figure out what was going on when i was emailed a fee they said they would get back to me the next day and never did. their excuse “we didn’t have a manager for over 8 weeks”. now for the companies lack of responsibility, respect, and their poor management and business skills i am now suffering consequences for their own mistakes. i have heard many similar stories about situations reguarding money and i wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone unless they want to be scammed i would get better service from a snail, very disappointed and i wouldn’t buy into the hype as this company is definitely not worth it.

Positive experience: Staff are nice and friendly. The equipment is good. One thing im not a fan of is the lights. They a very bright so when Im benching or doing floor work of sorts they blind me some what. The in house music can be a little loud too. I shouldnt have to have my headphones blearing to drown out their music!

Fantastic experience: Where do I get started, I’m very new to my fitness journey and oh my have I been welcomed My very first day I wanted to buy some supplements to get me started and a girl named Maddie really helped me, she seemed to know a lot about the human body and what’s good for it, explaining in detail what does what Overall great experience and I’m so happy!!

Fantastic experience: Just signed up a week ago, soild spot to train and fully staffed 24/7 so for me who trains early morning it's nice to be greeted by a friendly face rather than no one. Also the place is really clean and good range of machines, free weights abit of everything for everyone

Positive experience: love going here, so much better than meadows, feel nice and welcomed aprat from when this one staff member is there who just walks around looking at everyone, gave me and some friends a disgusting look as we where working out, just kinda rude in generel, was recently in a car crash and not able to get my membership keytag and he said he was going to charge me,which really sucks because i have not been able to retrieve the card, I love the anerican dude thats there most the time tho, hes nice and welcoming and doesnt perv on all the customers (edit) was meant to be posted for seaford, not seaford meadows

Fantastic experience: Fantastic value for money. Friendly staff. Other Members are always willing to help with equipment usage & direction. Love the boys on nights they are super helpful. I’ve had a weight loss of 50kg and I need to get that last 10kg off and tighten some skin before skin surgery. Derrimut is helping me achieve this goal.

Positive experience: Modern gym with great equipment. The palace is very clean and super well maintained. It is a bit small, but that's the location and you can always go to the Norlunga one for more space with the same membership.
