Anytime Fitness Narrabeen

Negative experience: I had a really frustrating experience with this gym. The sales team were very persuasive and reassured me that I could cancel within the cooling off period if things didn't work out. However, when I decided to cancel, they charged me a $100 fee for a virtual key, which I wasn’t made aware of up front. The location is inconvenient, and with limited parking and awkward hours, I knew it wasn’t going to be practical for me to attend. But when I went to cancel within the cooling off period, the manager, Steven, told me I wouldn’t be getting a refund. It’s not about the $100—it’s about the dishonesty and lack of integrity. The front-end sales team gives you this false sense of security, only to backtrack when it doesn’t work out for them. I feel completely misled and like I was dealing with snake oil salesmen, not a professional business. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Their intense focus on sales is undeniable, but when it comes to management, it's a complete disaster. I've been waiting six months for a refund with no resolution—customer care clearly isn’t a priority for them.

Fantastic experience: More than just a gym, this is a community orientated group of friendly people. As a member since day 1, ive watch the gym grow and the team just keeps getting better. Thanks for always being there guys. I get more than just a workout when I come in, I get time with friends and shared knowledge that is priceless.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience going to anytime fitness Narrabeen! The staff have been beyond friendly. I started PT sessions with Steven and did that for 2-3 months- Steven was lovely to train with, he taught me a lot and I definitely feel this has improved my gym training, as well as confidence. The best thing about anytime fitness Narrabeen, is the sense of community I felt when I entered the gym! I was always greeted with a smile from Steven, the staff and even the other gym members. Highly recommend this gym if you’re living in Narrabeen or within driving distance!

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Narrabeen is a relaxed , comfortable gym with all the equipment you need. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love how this one has the wet wipes for wiping down equipment, not all do some have paper towels and spray bottles. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Nice renovation but needs more fans over cardio machines. Timed fan only lasts 10 minutes and points at one machine.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Dan the new Manager. Last year I wrote a scathing review about the old manager and how my wife and I were treated. However I thought I would have a look at the updated gym. Very impressed and Dan was extremely helpful, professional and went out of his way to make us feel wry comfortable and welcome.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say Thank You to Dan. After having a very bad experience last year when we were in the area, as we are full time travellers. So we are back here for another month, we decided to have another look at gym as we find out they have a new manager and makeover. I’m so glad we did it. Dan was amazing. Super helpful and very friendly and very professional. We have been travelling around Australia for nearly 3 years and we have been to great gyms around Australia and we have a high expectation. I can say that Dan covered all, this afternoon. We are happy that we will be there for the next 30 days!!!

Negative experience: Small basic gym with adequate equipment.

Fantastic experience: If i could give 10 stars, i would. This is the best little community focused gym. The manager and every other staff member is super welcoming and friendly, they will have a chat to you on the way in, make sure everything is going OK and do their very best to help in any way they can. The members are also so committed and lovely, it feels like you are coming in to a family. To keep up enthusiasm, there are monthly challenges that are always fun. The gym also supports the community by getting involved with local businesses for various events, supporting charity days such as RUOK? Day and other various opportunities. Gym challenges also feature regularly where a specialist comes in with a body scanner at the start and conclusion so you can really see how you went. Recently the manager has shown me the app that is included in membership that has work outs you can do anytime, build your own or even have a PT create a tailor made workout for you available at the tip of your fingers, talk about a game changer. Happy to be a member here for the past year or so, keep up the good work team for all us locals! ❣️

Positive experience: Been a member of Brookvale Anytime for a long time and joined my girlfriend, was refused entry to Narrabeen gym because she joined less than 30 days again. Totally understand and respect that but the guy was rude and just told us we could not train. I would have been happy to pay. This experience is unfortunate because it is a great little gym and I have really enjoyed my workouts in this gym.

Fantastic experience: *UPDATE* I'm changing the rating to 5 because this gym is now free from a PT that did serious offenses against several clients. I am happy to be back! Great environment, always clean and love the fact that I can choose the music I'll be training to **INITAL COMMENT**The gym itself is amazing and has great equipment. However the 1 star review I am leaving is because there were serious matters done to me by a PT, I complained two times to staff who said they were aware of the situation, had the same complaints from several other clients, promised they were going to investigate/ do something about it and nothing happened. Very saddened about this situation.

Fantastic experience: A brand new club with great cardio equipment, extensive weights area, friendly staff, and excellent PTs (including Jodie Parker). The franchisee is a local with a young family: showing wonderful commitment to the local community.

Negative experience: Great facility, but unfortunately the staff and owner turn a blind eye towards serious offenses being perpetrated against the patrons. Especially the ones paying handsomely for PT services. Despite several complaints on the same issues the matter continues not to be addressed or resolved. Be mindful, and report it to the qualified entities if you witness it.
