Fantastic experience: BOMBA RASCLAT! This gym so friendly dawg, I love its atmosphere and members. Everybody's so kind including the staff members! Best music options with Thick Of It, KSI; makes me super motivated and become JACKED. AND THE BEST PART: NO WEIRDOS, I remember my previous gym made me feel so timid and bomboclat I felt like I couldnt do no more of that ️️. Super clean Gym, AND BATHROOM SMELLS AND LOOKS GREAT! Fantastic experience: Hi, This is the one. Your search has ended. Good gym. I tried a couple of gymnasiums in the area which all seemed okay. The reasons I chose this gym are the following: + close proximity to my work + quiet gym and relaxed atmosphere (I train mornings, before work) + excellent equipment in excellent condition + benches, bars and racks (squat and deadlift) + friendly and helpful staff + staff not pushy ('just take it or leave it' style, easy) + clean showers, change room and bathrooms + water fountain for quick fill up + I thought it was a rather dark gym (from pictures) but it's actually not, windows at the back and front. Areas for improvement in my opinion but not relevant for my rating: - showers have no soap (washbasin has + there is sanitizer) - no flat bars with grip for pull/chin ups (bars only angled in several directions or without grip) Good gym. Negative experience: I went in last month on the staffed hours to change my payment method, it was just a couple of days after the payment went through, and their system won't let the changes to happen because our payment was not received yet- that was very odd. And they said someone will call up to help me with the changes over the phone in couple of days; and by the time when called me and my partner and I have decided to end the membership instead because we are moving interstate and was getting busy with arranging the move, didn't have time to go to the gym. I've explained that while I was on the phone and the staff said that we have to give them 4 weeks notice before the cancellation and suggested to be on the freeze period, so I was confused why they are suggesting to be on the freeze period and they said because 'it gives you more time', and I simply understood it as ' you can freeze your account to make up the 4 weeks notice time, so you don't end up wasting your money'. I was still confused, so I asked if there is a cost to quit? and they said no, it doesn't cost us to quit or being on the freeze period. just said will give us more time. So I asked again to double check that if we can still cancel whilst we are on the freeze period. and they simply said yes. Ok great, so we went ahead with the freezing membership procedures, print and filling up the form and dropped it off on staffed hours. And a week after I emailed to them again to find out if there was a form for cancellation and they said for the cancellation we have to fill it up at the office in the staffed hours, so we went in on the staffed hour to fill out the form to leave. And the staff is now saying that once we give the cancellation notice, the freeze status will end immediately and start charging us for next 4weeks.............?! So the fact is that we cannot cancel whilst we are on the freeze period and no matter what, we have to give notice while we are also still paying and using the gym-otherwise it will be a waste. I cannot believe this staff blindly persuade me with uncertain words and giving out false information at all of my questions and not only unhelpful but also wasting my time and money to just cancel the bloody membership. Now only they are saying to us sorry if you didn't understand what the cancellation policy is but you will have to pay for the next 4weeks and you don't have to come if you don't want to.- but we are still paying??? I cannot bare with this poor customer service and this young staff's problem handling skill and 'ah well too bad' attitude. If they didn't stupidly suggested me to go on the freeze status at first, and just took my cancellation notice from that day I would have been happy to follow the 4 weeks notice policy and could have been cancelled by now. I regret not having this conversation in writing from the beginning and wish that first initial phone conversation was recorded to prove that he gave out a wrong information to put me in this position now. I do not see this whole situation was fair at all and wish to speak to the higher management to deal with this matter further.

Unfortunately, as a franchise, we use an external direct debit billing service provider therefore, if their system is down or slow for some reason, we cannot do much about it. We got in contact with you a couple of days after your request to try to solve your issue asap. As per cancellation policies, many members are not aware about the possibility of pausing memberships, that is why we inform them before to proceed with any cancellation request. I believe that must have been a misunderstanding as the staff member would have suggested that in case you were not able to get to the gym to cancel your memberships, just for the time being, instead of trying to give out false information. As per your signed debit agreement, it is required 30 days notice cancellation from the day you sign our cancellation form. I hope this helps you to have a better understanding of your issue, please get in contact if you require any additional information.
Fantastic experience: Michael and Marco are bloody Legends, I am a foreign Student and I am Glad that the Gym closest to me which is Plus Fitness makes the Gym as amazing as Possible. The price is worth it, Michael's a very Polite guy. All the equipments in the Gym are clean and none are Rusted. Toilets are very clean. So many great things to say but I really hope that there will be a gym renovation where there will be a Sauna for the members. If they add that... there is nothing more you could ask for. The Atmosphere at the gym really makes you wanna grind nonstop. Thanks to the gym, I'm Fit as a Fiddle. Lean and Mean.

Fantastic experience: It’s an amazing gym! I’ve been through a few gyms but so far this is one of my favourite. Everything is super clean, organised and well thought of such as the protein vending machine, free deodorant for the customers and mini lockers in the bathroom which I like. The small community they have built at this studio is incredible. The staff are super friendly, keen, approachable and you definitely feel welcomed at all times! I highly recommend this gym to all my friends and family.

Negative experience: I went with a friend to show her the gym because she wanted to become a member. There was nobody at the reception, so I started working out with her (yes, my bad, I should have called and informed them beforehand). As soon as we started working out, a man who works there came to us without saying "hi" or "excuse me" and started complaining in a rude way, asking for our membership cards. I am learning English (my speaking is not the best, but I could understand everything he was saying). Without any patience to hear me, he asked me with a sarcastic face if I spoke English (I felt very bad at that moment) We explained the situation to him, and he let her work out with me after signing a trial. I have been a Plus Fitness member for two years, and I have been to many gyms in Sydney, but I have never seen an unprofessional and rude staff member like him. I think if you want to get more memberships for your gym, that's the wrong way to go about it. I rarely leave reviews on Google, but this situation should not happen to anyone again.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience and that you felt uncomfortable with us and we can guarantee you it was definitely not our intention to come across that way. We have to clarify a couple of things though. We take our job very seriously at Plus Fitness Crows Nest and we are not here to sell memberships only; what you did, is a SECURITY BREACH. You are not allowed, at any time, to let someone in with your access card/fob key. This is what your membership agreement states: "b. You must not permit any other person to enter the Club or to use the Facilities and Services, whether a member or not, without our prior consent. We may charge you a fee of $250 for a breach of this clause, which will be automatically charged using your payment details provided, and may immediately cancel or suspend your Membership at our discretion." Looking at the footage , when you walked in with your friend, even though someone actually was in the office, you did not stop a second to do the right thing and let us at least take this person's details in order to allow you and this person train together. This means, even though it could have been our right to fined you on the spot, we have preferred not to. In regards to the English barrier, we deal with people of many different backgrounds and we were only checking if you might have needed a translation of that conversation. I hope this clarifies things for you and gives you a better understanding about this accident. We suggest you to be careful as if this happens again, here or at any other Plus Fitness club, you would probably incur in a fine and or cancellation/suspension of your membership.

Negative experience: Gym with lots of equipment. But my partner and I found black mould in the gym and bathroom walls. It needs proper ventilation installed... this is a health hazard!
Hi Serena, Thank you for your review! We know it's a health hazard and that is why, not very long ago, we have cleaned and repainted all the walls affected from it. As you might have seen, we like our gym to be a safe, clean and comfortable place for everyone, staff and members. Unfortunately with that much rain that we had lately, there has been some water infiltration that caused some issues but we are working, together with the landlord, to make sure it doesn't happen again. Hope you enjoyed training at our gym anyway and to possibly welcome you again soon.
Fantastic experience: Surprisingly well-equipped! The gym has a comp style bench, a safety squat bar, calibrated oly plates, and really well maintained Nautilus machines. Staff is super nice and never really gets too crowded. Super happy

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Everything feels brand new. I have two plus fitnesses in my neighbourhood but often drive the extra 5 minutes to come here.
Positive experience: Add a box master or kickboxing bag and I would give it 5 stars .. U get alot of value here
