Fantastic experience: Started in the Sandgate gym about 10 months ago & it has been the best decision I’ve done in a long while. The 24 hour access is really convenient for me as I work shifts. Tameaka started a few weeks ago as the manager & she brings a real positive feel.

Positive experience: Just another dirty snap gym, unfortunately bathrooms are gross, and need deep cleaning. The air con was not cool enough and was stuffy AF to put it lightly, they could seriously put some windows in to help with this in winter. Equipment was ok, not a huge choice sadly.
We are sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience wit here at Snap! Here at Snap we have a strict daily cleaning structure on top of our regular cleans, we will definitely revisit our cleaning schedule! We apologise for the aircon we have been in discussion with the building owner to get the main system fixed in a timely manner. During this time have had additional aircons and fans installed to assist! I would love to hear your feedback on the equipment, we have recently undergone a massive refurbishment and would love to hear any suggestions to further improve this space!
Negative experience: costly when we are not willing to sign an 18 year contract with them. Also, there are no steam sauna

Fantastic experience: I'm returning to visit my Mother in Sandgate from The United States soon and will be making this SNAP Fitness an Athletic Home for my training near where I'll be staying in Sandgate with a plan in this coming Year for a few Amateur Boxing Exhibitions as well as a few Matches! This SNAP Fitness has a wonderful location with charming atmosphere relative to the Sandgate Area but especially being near the Waterfront and to many neighboring Restaurants. The waterfront makes for great Weighted-Vest Walks to Redcliffe intermittent to my Training and so I hope to make that my routine upon arrival! The Gym looks even better than the last time that I was in Brisbane in 2019! I look forward to returning ASAP! Keep up the great Work!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Justin for getting me back into the gym after not working out for a long time. Been wanting to go back and decided to give them a call and Justin was very helpful into taking those steps back in. For a smaller gym it has everything you need and can be quiet depending on the times you go.

Negative experience: While the equipment is mostly OK, the staff is great, the aircon at the gym has unfortunately been broken for several months now. There are 2 temporary household units installed but they don't do job for the size of the interior. The temperature inside gets to around 29 on regular basis.. This is not acceptable and I guess this is the reason why the gym is not so busy... To make it worse the owner does not seem to have genuine intention to fix anytime soon, there is no specific around when this would be fixed - only "hopefully very soon". In my world this is days or maximum weeks, not months.. There is someone else's review from 11 months ago about the same issue.... I am rather disappointed, as customers we deserve a bit more, especially that otherwise it is ok gym, but feels like the nearby competition is a better choice, especially given the same price...
Fantastic experience: I recently returned to the gym after taking a few years off due to medical reasons, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Justin made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. His Friendly demeanour and support made me feel right at home. Justin took the time to understand my individual needs and concerns, providing the support and guidance I needed. His encouragement and knowledge have reignited my motivation to kick start my fitness journey again. Snap Fitness Sandgate is a great gym offering a range of equipment, quiet atmosphere and provides valuable tips on their Facebook page, is always clean and tidy, which makes the whole workout experience so much more enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I joined Snap only a few weeks ago. After talking with Maria on the phone then coming in to meet her I did not hesitate to join this gym. Her understanding of my personal goals, compassion, encouragement and willingness to dedicate extra time to help me get started were amazing. My wife has also joined Snap Sandgate and I feel very comfortable here. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Thursday 4th May 2023 745PM (far from peak hour, Max. 4 other patrons) I had an unfortunate week with 2 hospital visits with migraines and back spasms, and showering in a motorhome can be difficult and cramped even when feeling well, so after the doctors recommended hot showers to aid sleep without too many painkillers, I parked across the road and after 90 mins I was in agony and needed a second shower. James was there late this night, so thought I would be considerate and inform him of my condition and reason for another visit, these were his responses after my second shower (in no particular order): 1. I'm the owner (stated at least three times, so a pretty big flex, even for a gym) 2. You're treating the gym like a home 3. You should go somewhere else (I could barely walk, let alone drive) 4. I can cancel your membership now if you want 5. You're inconveniencing other members.... I looked at the gym to the 3 other members I could immediately see on machines and asked who was inconvenienced... it was then that Maria decided to chime in to support her boss and label me as aggressive. In almost 50 years of living on this planet, NEVER have I encountered 2 human beings so heartless, callous, and unempathetic in my life. Truly the most disgusting examples of human beings I've ever met. And over something as trivial as a few showers through the night.... Anytime fitness is 200m away, larger gym, better facilities, and there is no way their customer service could be less compassionate than James' and Maria's petty attitudes towards a long standing member who needed to get through immense, crippling pain overnight. James, when you are at your lowest ebb in your life and in most need of help from your fellow man, may you receive the same empathy and compassion you showed me
Good afternoon Aaran, Thank you for jumping online to our review system to voice your concerns. We truly do feel for your situation and hope that you have a speedy recovery, however, our cameras and access log show very different times than the one you have provided in your review. On top of that, your explanation of the events that occurred are also very different from the one that we experienced and have on cameras showing. At the end of the day, our top priority is the safety and enjoyment of ALL of our members. We had several complaints from other members regarding you violating our dress code policy along with other violations, and we felt we needed to deal with it, and we did that the best way we could provided your response. We wish you all the best going forward.

Fantastic experience: Kruze and Maria are fantastic. Kruze spotted deficiencies after only a few minutes and now has me on the right track to fixing these and Maria is a welcome happy face to enter the session to. She is always smiling and takes a real interest in all the members (she is always never to busy for a spot as well)

Fantastic experience: I've trained at a number of gyms including other Snaps across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and the vibe here is by far the best I've experienced to date. The staff are super friendly, the trainers know their stuff and are happy to help with technical questions. I've made some solid mates and training partners here. If you want somewhere serious to train but without the big egos of some gyms I'd recommend Snap at Sandgate. I'm really enjoying training here! Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Snap Sandgate well where do I start??? My husband and I have had the privilege of attending 30 odd Snaps with our membership and travels over the years, 9 years at Sandgate Snap.. There is nothing like home. We looooove coming to Snap Sandgate. The cleanliness is 2nd to none. It is always spotlessly clean and well stocked always with paper towels n Sanitiser. Nice little touches here and there even Sanitary Products available in toilets amazing!!!!!!!! Machines are always clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and always helpful with whatever you need training or membership help. Good variety of classes and times available to suit everyone. Positive experience: Love the pilates classes with Narelle though disappointed that yoga is no longer on. I was promised it would be resumed after winter when I renewed my annual membership - that was over 6 months ago.

Positive experience: Been coming to Snap for about 7yrs now. I love doing the Pilates classes run by Narelle twice a week. I love the fitness community vibe with the gym & classes. I wish I could still do yoga there as well. Have other friends who also would like to see yoga come back to the gym.

Fantastic experience: I love Snap Fitness Sandgate. I have been training here for the past two years and honestly, wouldn't leave unless I left the state! The atmosphere at the gym is always amazing and puts me in the perfect mind set to do my session. The community support is phenomenal, I have loved every member that I've spoken to, and they are always extremely welcoming and happy to chat. The trainers are brilliant and so knowledgable and incredibly dedicated to what they do and providing the best support to anyone in the gym and the new owner is the best. He keeps the gym spotless and engages with all of the members. Honestly, best gym ever! I love being a member here, you become apart of an amazing community.

Fantastic experience: Snap Sandgate is a super friendly gym with awesome classes included (plus special kid sessions), creche, great challenges, and an encouraging community of members. Mel and Eli are awesome PTs who make you feel comfortable but pushed, know you by name and are happy to modify exercises to your injury limitations. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Have recently joined Snap Sandgate and loving it so far. The staff are great and I’m loving the classes. I especially love the Snap App, I can track my goals, and have access to nutrition and work out ideas which has been a great motivator ! Definitely recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Loved the gym and classes, when living in Sandgate ... But I haven't lived in QLD for three years, Have tried on numerous occassions to get in touch, with no responce, and my account is starting to be deducted again from this business. Breach of use of my banking and personal details, having to, over the years, ask for them to be removed.

Negative experience: I found it extremely difficult to get in contact with a staff member even during staffed hours. Since cancelling I have received unexplained charges to my account. Still trying to reach them about this issue with no response.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place. The classes are amazing and encouraging! The team really support you there, personal trainer Dwayne really knows his stuff and pushes you to reach your goals.

Negative experience: I have only been here a couple of times but his gym is tiny. If there's any more than a handful of people in it at any given time, you struggle to get a decent workout because there simply isn't enough equipment/space to go around.

Negative experience: If I could do half a star I would have. If the sound of the weights being dropped at night time weren't bad enough. It's the members who think this is acceptable at a 24hr gym. I am sure all of the equipment at Sandgate is not cheap especially the lat pull-down. The total disregard of the members who do this constantly put me off. If the people outside can hear this, and they do, what are your other members inside the gym experiencing?
