Fantastic experience: Simple and beautiful gym, offers a variety of free classes. I do hope for more evening classes but overall great staff and services.

Negative experience: Could be the sneakiest and dirtiest gym in Kew. I’ve been going to Train 24/7 for a while. The gym has multiple signs out front that say “no cancellation fee”. You’d expect to pay nothing when you cancel your membership. But here's the zinger, they make you pay an entire month’s worth of fees upfront to cancel your membership. That’s $54 out of pocket just for cancelling. Now, they’ll tell you they need month’s payment so the direct debit can stop coming out of your account. Rubbish. The direct debit comes out of your account every two weeks. It could be stopped after two weeks, surely, if not sooner. These types of payments can be stopped within a few business days. They could just change the direct debit courier they use. The gym have just found a sneaky loophole to charge you for leaving without saying they charge a ‘cancellation fee’. There probably is a line in the contract about giving a month’s notice. Not denying that. But the staff make minimal effort ensure you know you’ll pay a month’s fees when you leave. Plenty of other people have had same issue, just look at the reviews. The business needs to step their game. But they probably won’t, this how they make extra cash. Plus, the free weights are often filthy, and rowing machines need to be repaired, those machines feel like starting an old chainsaw. If you search “gym near me” don’t come to Train 24/7. I found a cheaper, cleaner and closer gym in Richmond/Hawthorn

Negative experience: Dodgy! Just be aware they will .... you if you try to exit - Make sure you read the extra fine print. They just want to lock you in and take your money. Management could not even be bothered to call me to discuss my issues after requesting a callback from them. If I could leave a no star review, I would! Customer service non existent!

Negative experience: For a gym with a big “NO CANCELLATION FEE” sign on the door it’s crazy that they force you to pay a month’s fees on the spot to cancel your membership.

Negative experience: Shocking gym. Dirty. Rude and blunt reception. People sneaking in like its a charity gym. Then reckons you have to pay the cancelation upfront rather than direct debit. Interesting approach to business

Fantastic experience: Love Train 24/7 Kew. It caters for all fitness levels and Aylie's and Shane's classes make this gym my go to for a great work out experience.

Negative experience: Was charged for so long without using the membership like 1 year and when i was already going to stop the membership, they still charged extra $37? No good!!! Customer service no one answering

Negative experience: Worst experience! I tried to cancel my membership a long time, and they suggested to keep my account on hold but they kept on deducting $$ on my account. Can't reach them thru phone as no one answer, and when i was able to visit in person to cancel my membership they asked me to pay again $37.10 that they did not explain before you signed up with them. I feel cheated!

Positive experience: nice gym, although can get a bit cramped at times due to the small location would like to see more facilities for athletic workouts, such as pylo boxes

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner signed up for this gym today. The guy who served us was a total gentleman, showed us around the gym and talked to us about the classes/equipment they offered. We are both very happy with our initial experience.

Negative experience: Worst experience, we asked for a free trial, turns out he didnt lets us get a free trial and charged us 'half price for day pass" (shouldve been $7.50) but charged $10. "You can only do a free trial if you sign up" so much for FREE TRIAL. His overall attitude was horrible and did not show any respect towards myself, my siblings and potential customers (as if im joining). If you are thinking of signing with a middle to late aged Australian male, avoid unless you want to be disrespected. He needs to fix his attitude. Ps. Anytime balwyn is better for 5 bucks more a week Xoxo

Negative experience: So much for free trial. Charged $10 and then asked why I transfer money to my card account. False advertising. Show respect to my brothers, especially as one of your members.

Negative experience: Really Disappointed, feeling cheated and there are additional fees and charges. Being a local in the area, I thought it would be great to support a local business - especially after the past 24 months. Despite the enjoyment I experienced when training here between lockdowns, I will never return to this gym because of the way my membership was handled when it was placed on hold. I attempted to cancel the membership and was convinced over the phone to place it on hold instead for 6 months, with no indication of a charge being made. After checking my account, I noticed that I was being charged to have my membership on hold, and when I called to question this charge, it was my word against the person over the phone who put the account on hold. On top of this, I could only cancel my account in person (when staff were on) which was very difficult considering that I couldn’t make it in during office hours. You will be slugged an additional fee when you eventually cancel your membership and be left with a sour taste in your mouth like I do. I wouldn’t expect a reply to this review but wanted to make it clear that I would have returned to this gym if the handling of this incident were not so poorly managed.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this gym. Despite numerous phonecalls and emails attempting to cancel they continued to debit funds from my account. Staff are rude and basically called me a liar when I disputed the charges on my account. Ended up having to cancel my credit card to prevent further illegal charges against it. Edit after response from owner below: Again - calling me a liar as can be evidenced in her response regarding previous correspondence.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve been to! The best part about it is the friendly staff. Shane and Aylie are the best! They are so lovely, inclusive and excellent trainers. $12 is ridiculous for unlimited classes and some classes are done outside which is great for those early mornings! I honestly couldn’t recommend this gym more!

Positive experience: I ended up with 2 memberships and different gyms that I forgot about. One at fit n firm, and one here. When I realized my mistake, fit n firm instantly confirmed they would cancel my membership immediately with no further fees, offered me a full credit for the time I'd wasted, or a partial refund. Contrasting this, Train 24/7 only offered me a partial credit, and I had to fight with them for a long time just to cancel with no further charges. Student price is pretty good tho.

My partner and I love training at 24/7 fitness Kew - equipment is all brand new, 2 levels with free weights, rack and machines as well as plenty of cardio equipment, the gym is always spotless and all COVID sanitisation procedures are maintained well. The gym is never packed, always equipment available. Very clean and great value! Staff are amazing

Fantastic experience: My partner and I recently started going to the 24/7 Fitness gym in Kew, and in the short time that we have been going, we have found it to be a welcoming and professionally run place (especially the Gym Manager Aylie). We have been very impressed with the quality of the equipment which caters for needs at all levels of fitness, and the cleanliness of the gym (especially in the current challenging COVID-19 times). The other bonus is that it is accessible 24 hours 7 days a week!! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a local gym. Joe & Irma

Fantastic experience: Extremely recommend Train 24/7 Fitness Kew. Affordable gym membership of ONLY $11.99!!!!! Excellent staff who are extremely supportive always willing to help and up for a chat. Clean, spacious gym! Which has different equipment to cater to all needs, something for everyone. The classes are great fun, with plenty variety to choose from. Amazing members who are very inclusive and of varying level of strength and fitness. 24/7 opening hours a big plus!!! Can’t wait to get back into the gym miss it already!!!!
