Positive experience: Would benefit from fans being installed in the cardio area - Depending on the time of day, all the treadmills/stairs are in use but overall, good!

Positive experience: I've just changed from Modbury to Windsor Gardens. Modbury doesn't have enough equipment and on weeknights it's full of children just hanging out and equipment hogs who sit on a machine staring at their phone. Then there's the tradies in dirty work clothes and boots, people with no towel, the want to be insta girls filming themselves. For some reason Windsor Gardens has non of this. Would be good to see a minimum age and dress code inforced.

Positive experience: Very clean and well maintained equipment. Friendly staff and made it very easy to sign up. Heaps of machines, all lover level is cable fixed machines and upstairs is rich with plate loading machines and free weights and an entire section dedicated to cardio. Fair warning. Absolutely packed with school kids from 4-6:30pm so I recommend you either come in early to beat the aftershool rush or come after 8pm.

Positive experience: While the gym is small it does provode the basic equipment you need to complete a decent workout. I read in someone elses review about having second drinking fountain upstairs (brilliant idea and long overdue) The only reason for 3 stars and not more os thr lack of communication between staff and clients. Ive asked about getting some of the overused equipment replaced and while i was told it would be passed on To management thats as far as its gone. Plus staff really needs to explain to clients that weights need to be unracked when your finished and to wipe down equipment esspecially when they dont use a towel. Its just basic gym manners.

Negative experience: It's a joke, how is it so hard to make a functioning debit system where I get charged on the same day for the same amount across the board? There have been months where I get charged $22 when I'm meant to be charged $42 and some months where I am not charged at all and others where I am charged late and forced to pay exorbitant 'late fees' when it's your fault for charging me early or late. Plus im forced to pay another transaction fee it's just ridiculous and a scam. The gym is also impossible to contact within staffed hours, I am always directed by a machine that tells me I have called outside of staffed hours when I call at 11am on a Monday where Revo publicly display the gym will be staffed

Fantastic experience: Are you skinny? are you fat? if you are then listen up pipsqueak! When I walked through the sublime porte and entered this establishment I knew I this would be an arduous mission, after all there's no gain without pain! I made a speedy induction into the revo fitness' membership, or as I like to call it, the "revo fam". Then, channelling the power of every Mr Olympia compilation I have watched I went to work. Oh and buddy I mean I WENT TO WORK, protein shakes, rigorous timetabling and sunlight has turned me into a new Brendon. Oh how the ladies love to grasp my biceps at the weekly square dancing events! Also, I don't see enough love given to the Hit Fit area as it is action packed with 10 different workouts that you can do, sometimes when im down in the dumps I like to just let loose at the Hit Fit station. Women love men who do cardio! From a man to man perspective, you have to come to Revo Fitness at Modbury Tea Tree Plus NOW!

Negative experience: I demand an explanation for this unacceptable situation. Why am I being slapped with a penalty rate when I clearly communicated the overdue amount via email? It's outrageous that I wasn't informed in the initial week when my bank account failed to process the payment, especially considering the Revos policy contract clearly outlines weekly deductions. Upon reviewing my bank statement, it's evident that Revo was deducting amounts monthly, contradicting the contractual agreement. Despite my phone conversation with a representative who assured me of cancellation and resolution, I am now burdened with an overdue bill and late fees. As a loyal member for nearly a year, never missing a payment, this behavior is utterly disappointing. I trusted in Revo's reputation as a major brand, assuming a simple phone call would suffice. Now, having left the country, I am faced with a predicament because there are no records of our previous conversation. This is not my fault; it's a failure on your part. I shouldn't have to bear the consequences of a mix-up within your system. I insist on a thorough investigation and prompt resolution. I have no intention of leaving any outstanding matters, but I vehemently reject the notion of shouldering the financial burden resulting from Revo's inadequacies.

Positive experience: Although the gym is smaller than other gyms in the area, there is a diverse range of machines available plus ample space for stretching and other warm-ups and cool-downs. There is also a generously sized toilet and shower area The gym is designed on a three split-level system to separate weights machines, cardio and free weights which I personally like. I usually go around 6am, so I can’t speak to the aircon issue that others mention, but I usually find it to be cold when I arrive and only warm up a bit when I get into my workout. Unfortunately, when I do go in staffed hours, there are constantly signs up saying that staff won’t be available during certain times, which is difficult for new members. The staff are lovely though, and so are the personal trainers and other people doing their workouts.

Fantastic experience: EDIT: I wanted to send through some additional feedback and change my original review, now that things have seemingly improved. The new staff and trainers seem great, and far more friendly than in the past. I'm hoping once summer comes around the air-con works well, but during Winter it's been the perfect temperature within the gym. A few bits of equipment could do with an update as they are starting to get a little frayed, but outside of that I'm changing my review from a 2 Stars originally, to a 5 Stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The gym itself is nice, the equipment is in good quality and everyone who works out there are fantastic. Air-con is a big issue, and something they need to fix. In the cardio sections it is great, but everywhere else can be very stuffy no matter the outside temperature. The staff almost never look after the front desk though, and as a member you almost never feel welcome on entry/exit. You often will find potential new members waiting for long extended times to be greeted by the gym manager as they seem to spend most of their time away from the desk on breaks, or talking to one of the Personal Trainers. Both Brayden and Alesha seem to be fantastic PT's who take care of their clients, where as the other Trainer Jimmy spends most of their sessions talking to the gym manager or using their phone whilst their clients workout. If you are considering being a member I would consider the other trainers if you're looking for more one-on-one support.
Positive experience: The gym itself is good, plenty of equipment and space for people to work out comfortably. The music playlist could use an update. And maybe some frosted glass film could be considered on the treadmill/cycling area windows to prevent strangers from staring My main issues are: a) the temperature. I'll only be there for 5 minutes and already feel hot, and upstairs is even worse. It's uncomfortable and there is clearly ventilation on the ceiling. (I once overheard a staff member say they wanted to turn the air conditioning off because they were cold. In a jumper. In a gym. Where people are going to be hot from exhaustion.) b) the staff. Multiple times have I walked into the gym only to walk past people who have been stuck waiting to sign up for 15-35 minutes. Sometimes during the staffs break time, other times during working hours. Working in customer service myself I couldn't imagine leaving a customer alone for even 5 minutes. A camera in the staff room positioned at the front desk is necessary I think. A few times have I gotten a staff members attention to tell them something, only for them to turn their back on me and ignore me. This attitude has actually turned away some potential customers I know.
Positive experience: The gym itself is great and the staff are lovely, but it is always really warm inside. The last few times I've trained it has felt almost unbearable, and we aren't in the heat of summer yet. The air conditioning definitely needs improving going into summer - it can only be felt near the cardio machines.

Fantastic experience: New member.I am 88 and have been a member of gyms since 1974. I am very happy with the gym. Modern equipment ,clean well maintained. Smaller than other Revo gyms but has every thing you may need. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Very small and cramped compared to the other Revo branches, machines are also different, for example the bench press bar sits on a tilt system where it moves forward when you try and lift the weight, and then drops back. I've never had this at any other gym and it was unsettling. The gym is on two floors, the range of equipment is not very diverse. Again compared to the other Revo gyms it not grate. Gym is clean and organised. In my opinion it needs to relocate to a larger space in the same area. Access to water on both floors would be good as getting to the only fountain when you need a drink means going up and down floors.

Negative experience: Bad Cancellation Policy. The gym itself is relatively good, they have a good mixture of machines and the staff were nice enough when at the front desk. Not many members wipe down the machines after use so it’s a bit gross. Had to cancel my membership because I’m moving, only recently joined the gym four months ago and when joining asked the girl signing me up if I had to cancel how much notice I was required to give, she said 1 weeks notice. So I tried to cancel my gym membership with 1 1/2 weeks left until my next debit and was told I would have to pay the following month because I hadn’t given 2 weeks notice. The debit payment went through early on the 4th when I am normally debited on the 5th so my account did not have enough in it. So I checked the website FAQs to see what to do and it said that after a failed payment they would attempt to redebit my account within 48 hours. This did not happen and three days later I received an email informing me I had to pay an additional $12.99 failed payment fee, along with a link to pay through, which I then had to pay an additional card processing fee for. There is no way it costs $12.99 for them to redebit my account, especially when I have to do it myself! Was thinking of joining back initially when I moved back into the area, but I would rather drive somewhere else further out then deal with a dodgy place like this again. Extremely unsatisfied with the customer service with staff not knowing the rules and the FAQs about payments being misleading and deceitful. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Tried to purchase a day pass as it says on the website that I could within staffed hours. I was not informed that I had to be over the age of 18 in order to purchase, even throughout staffed hours.

Negative experience: Absolutely no COVID awareness! Last 3 visits to this gym before 9am the wipes dispensers were empty. Wasn’t the easiest thing to get the staff to fill them up either - apparently too much trouble. For such a new gym it’s shows either staff have not been trained properly or they have no procedures. Come on REVO you need to do better than this!!
