Negative experience: I've had many bad experiences when coming to this gym, I come here because it's only a few minutes from me so it's convenient for time travel for me. In saying that, the bad experiences seem to be getting more and more each time I come here. When machines seem to break either they don't inform staff members or it's left broken for some time. People seem to leave towels on a machine they are using but get off to use another and leave their personal belongings on the first machine, making it difficult for others if they want to use it. For such a small gym, it's very cramped with equipment, not leaving much room between machines making you be in another's personal space. Many people seem to sit on a machine and tend to have conversations with others, forcing others to have to wait for some time for those to get off. I understand people like to workout their way but when around others just be considerate.

Fantastic experience: The Strathpine club is by far the best Snap gym in the area. The size is large enough that you can still have good access to the equipment during peak hours, plus ample bathrooms and amenities. It's a neat and tidy gym with great staff and easy parking.

Positive experience: Great atmosphere friendly staff

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms I've ever been too, the main guy is never there to answer the door or answer phones, he seems depressed and has no desire to actually be there, gym full of pretend alpha males. Disgusting

Negative experience: I went to a free trial class and I have been charged over $131 in membership fees. 1 class cost me $131. I have even been threatened with a debit collector. Watch out for the advertising, because it here is nothing free. They overcharge.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic equipment, Great Staff and altogether great atmosphere

Positive experience: Clean and well maintained gym but gosh it is so stuffy. The air is warm and hot and heavy especially when it gets busy which is often. It makes it really hard to workout. It's like the aircond doesn't work and the fans have very limited timers so they switch off automatically after a few minutes. I wish they would fix this issue but I've been going there for 2 months now and it's only gotten worse now that summer is coming. It's a real shame but if this keeps up, I will consider changing gyms as I can't imagine workout out there in peak summer :(

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and inviting Staff/Gym. The price is very affordable. Has showers, and new Technogym equipment. Great atmosphere to stay motivated/Learn. Luke the Pt is the best. Great for someone like me looking to move past old injuries and get my strength/fitness back. If you're looking for a gym i recommend you swing by and check snap fitness strathpine out first.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff, always available to give a hand and explain something if unsure. I had a few sessions with Luke there Personal Trainer and could not have had a better experience, he really listened to my limitations and wants to create a plan suited for my goals! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: A very clean and well run gym! Always up to date on social media with any changes to staffing, equipment and just general helpful info and tips. Equipment is good with plenty of free weights and a variety of machines and the community is polite, tidy and respectful. Very reasonable membership pricing for quality equipment and 24/7 access which is great for late workers as well as early morning people.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym community and the staff are lovely. Always say hi as you walk in. Wide range of equipment and it is never really broken . Bench press benches dont have safeties but you can bench in the squat racks if u want and it's not too busy (like the weekend). No 15kg plates outside of the squat racks but theres enough plates at peak times you just gotta find them. Stacks of lockers and shelves to put your stuff.

Negative experience: I opted for the 3-day trial, where I could attend the gym when a member of staff was present. That was totally fine with me until I rocked up on my second day, within their specified "staffed hours", to find there was no staff present to let me in. I called the 'Club Manager' phone number written on the door twice, and no answer. All I can say is... "I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed".

Fantastic experience: Snap fitness Strathpine is a gym that is perfectly located. The environment is friendly, inclusive and the gym has every piece of equipment you could ask for, whilst still giving you plenty of room to move. The staff are great; there are regular events and competitions which makes this great place a very community orientated gym. Snap fitness Strathpine has everything you need to keep you upbeat, and motivated to come in to work out as often as you can. Apart from being in a location, where you can do shopping before or after your workout, another cool thing is; you can pick a favourite song to play over the gym speakers for your workout.

Negative experience: If paying your membership by cash, break down the total amount to check the weekly rate matches to the rate being quoted. I found the total amount for the 3, 6 and 12 month options, when broken down to the weekly rate, was way more than the weekly rate I was being quoted. Stay informed.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the facilities are clean and everything is well maintained. I am relatively self conscious at any gym but this is definately not a gym that makes you feel like that at all!

Fantastic experience: Cool and friendly staff. I like the fact that there is plenty of parking as it's a part of Strathpine Centre, and that you can also pop into the mall to grab some groceries or a coffee if you're early enough. The facilities are clean and plenty of cardio machines available, although weight section usually has people working out, same as in the open area - would be cool to extend it somehow. Overall I definitely recommend this gym, especially if you tend to feel overwhelmed or intimidated as a newbie gym member; not too many people plus it's 24/7
