Anytime Fitness Dingley Village

Fantastic experience: This gym is the best and especially crystal, really kind and helps a lot and makes great jokes. Gain Luca, sorry but how is the gym going to ban the phones???

Positive experience: Today I cancelled my membership at the Dingley Village gym. I did it reluctantly because I have always found it clean. I go to the gym in the morning before going to work so I stay 30 or 40 minutes maximum. In recent months some young guys use the machines for two minutes of exercise and 10 minutes of chatting on the phone without freeing the machines, I do not want to argue every morning with stupid people who have their own time to waste. The phone should be banned from the gym or at least show respect towards those who come to the gym to do gymnastics and not to chat.. I repeat I am sorry because the Dingley Gym deserves 5 stars apart from this episode.

I love this gym because it’s never crowded, it’s always clean, the equipment is well maintained and, most importantly, staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a good mix of people who go there. Everyone is pretty friendly. For a well equipped gym its also good value for money.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. Whether you love to stop and chat upon entry or get on with your workout, all of the staff members at Dingley Village are friendly and accommodating. Signing up was easy, and all costs were clear and upfront. While not the largest gym, it is fairly quiet for most of the day. Staff members keep the gym well-maintained and clean so that other members don't have to worry. One thing I really appreciate is the extra mile they go when tidying up barbell weights, promoting a good culture and practice for other members to do the same. During busier evenings (e.g. after work), wait times are minimal as people cycle through equipment fairly quickly. This gym has a very good culture and everyone has been approachable in terms of sharing equipment, or "working in" a set. There are many events that the Anytime Fitness Dingley Village staff organise for members free-of-charge, and it all goes a long way to fostering a community of members and staff alike. Gyms which offer this level of choice to go solo or be involved are rare, and I do hope they are able to continue providing a great experience for all members as they have for me.

Negative experience: Super bad service staffs . Staff do not respect customers and refuse to help customers with their needs. Indifferent to customers. The gym is old, smelly, dirty and has many thieves at night. Terrible.

Negative experience: Misleading advertising - it was communicated that a key fob deposit will be refunded at the end of the contract term, which turns out not to be the case. Not only they charge $100 joining fee, but also $100 for a useless piece of plastic. Person who sold me the contract no longer works there and their colleagues take no responsibility. Disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym when I was still 16 and got lots of help and support from the staff from the very beginning, they helped me build my fitness to join the adf and after returning home due to health complications the first thing I did was renew my membership here. This gym has all the machines and equiptment required for a fantastic workout and signing up was the best decision I ever made and a worthy investment of time and money

Negative experience: The staff is really nice but I could not get through the door the first time which was really annoying as I had taken time to come to gym. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Anytime Fitness Dingley Village for a few years and I thoroughly enjoy working out here. All the staff members are friendly, professional and always helpful with advice towards reaching my fitness goals. Recently they have introduced “MyGymRewards” and every couple of weeks there is a challenge whereby there are different exercises to perform in under a minute to accrue additional points. Crystal and Harley are always positive and enthusiastic towards completing each task. This is a fantastic way to involve members and also test myself against the challenge.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym since new manager Michelle has come on board. Gym is cleaner, repairs quicker and the place is extra friendly. I go three times a week and have no complaints.

Negative experience: They don’t want to share there wifi password, i asked them 4-5 times , every time they make new excuses, very unprofessional and bad customer service. Thats why now m doing training in night time, so i can’t see there faces.

Fantastic experience: Been here a few times as a visitor from another anytime fitness. Place is always clean, not too busy that you can't use the equipment you want and the staff greet you with a smile. Very happily will keep coming back when I'm in Melbourne!

Fantastic experience: Incredible staff member Tara really helped me out when I was down from qld and looking for a gym for couple weeks! She went above and beyond in helping me access the gym during my time in Melbourne and offered great advice for joining up in the future! So thankful for her help! Definitely need more people like her at every gym! Thanks again Tara!

Positive experience: Good but they need a speed ball

Negative experience: I have 4 Anytime membership, partner, 2 x teenagers and myself. Was greeted by a very rude PT out the front of the Dingley Gym at 2:10pm today. Attached is the image from the ATF app, it clearly states the gym is open and no reservation required. Other Gyms, will indicate next sessions if the gym is not open. The female PT was extremely rude and insisted that I tried to attend without an appointment. I was not stressed and happy to go to a different ATF. However, I did explain the app was indicating the gym was open and no appointment required. This PT was insisting I "didn't get it". I was simply trying to pass on that other customers might get confused, but she was determined to prove her point and get me to agree with her. I have use many ATF all over Australia as I work travel 50% of the year. This is the first time I have had a rude staff member experience. I will not be going back to the Dingley ATF. I will also count this as strike 1. 3 strikes, 4 memberships will move to Fitness First or other ATF competitor. 23/11/2020 Thanks for your fast response Tara. Tech can always be a bit tricky and temperamental. However, the information was from the ATF app, not google (But, the app might feed from google...). To be clear, I have no issue if the app info being wrong...but it was the fact of the ATF PT was adamant that I agree with her that she was correct. That is the issue. To the point that other people that overheard the situation asked if "I was ok". I would say that bullying clients is against the wellness that Anytime Fitness is trying to achieve. So nothing to do with the tech issue.

Negative experience: WARNING: this club is actually closed. There is nothing on the Anytime Fitness website to indicate this, but it is closed. There are a few clubs like this so I'd warn anyone to be wary of trusting Anytime Fitness website for information.

Positive experience: Finally open! Well laid out, clean & tidy. Some decent wall fans in the cardio machine area would be a good improvement....
