Fantastic experience: I signed up at a nearby Anytime years ago and found this one by chance - and I never looked back! AF Dandy North is not just a gym but a community. The owner Gino, club manager Omar and the entire body of staff are amazing and always go out of their way to chat to members, assist them in the gym and celebrate their successes. The gym is massive - easily one of the biggest in VIC and despite the many people I have encouraged to join and growing numbers it is never messy, too busy or uncomfortable to train in. Best Anytime Fitness I have been to hands down. So much love for you Anytime DN fam!

Fantastic experience: I've been to a lot of AF's over the years, and Dandenong North is by far my favourite. The staff here are so lovely and generous. I moved down from Sydney and it took a while for my membership to transfer from my old club, and the team were kind enough to let me attend the group classes even though I technically wasn't a part of the club. There's no shortage of equipment, and everyone is friendly. There's also a wide variety of services available at the club that are very handy. Couldn't recommend this club more.

Negative experience: MINIMUM 12 MONTHS MEMBERSHIP = $1200. Just another greedy, mediocre gym. I used to have an anytime membership in Burwood and they were fantastic, would let you cancel and start your membership again whenever you wanted. This gym has a minimum lock in contract of 12 months which works out to be about $1200. If you want to cancel it’s a 50% charge of the yearly contract (I should have read the Terms). Regardless this is just pure greed considering Burwood is a far better facility and has no lock in contract. Derrimut is currently $270 for 12 months upfront, do yourself a favour save money and avoid this greedy establishment.

Please refer to the standard pricing and terms on the website, as our club is well within this RRP. We can also confirm that our standard 12 month agreement does not equal to $1200, we feel you may be referring to a different AF Club! A 50% early exit fee may apply on the remaining balance of the agreement, not the whole term. We are a little confused with the terms greedy and mediocre, again, please feel free to visit the AF website to read the terms and conditions, standard pricing and to learn more about all of our amazing clubs and communities. AF Burwood is a great club, I have trained there myself and spoken to their team members! Did you know globally we are the largest Franchise with our AF Dandy North Club being the biggest AF Clubs in Victoria (over 1000sqm in space)? Negative experience: If i could I'd give a 0 star because the new owner try from everyside to save $$$ and when it comes on the hot if you ask them to leave the AC When you're not in the gym what they tell you is you know how much $$$ is the electricity bill annually and today when i went to the office to cancel my membership they told me i should give them 1 month notice which was fine but they charge me for 6 weeks it's a BIG SCAM
Hi Jalil, our club currently has only 2 air conditioners in the Studio Rooms (which are on timers, controlled by members). The club has fans all in working order, which are also on timers and run for approximately 56 minutes. We have also installed industrial new wall fans in the cardio and FREE weight area. As you are aware, we have 2 working evaporative cooling units, these are controlled by members during staffed hours on the wall near the laundry/cleaning room. These are managed and run throughout the day to ensure the club is cool, even when switched off at night. They run during staffed hours as all the main doors need to be open to help circulate the air. We do note that you decided to cancel over this. I can confirm that the team member who handled the cancellation did advised of the 30 Day Notice Cancellation Period. I have also looked into your account and can assure you that you were not billed for 6 weeks, just the standard 30 Days. In addition to this, we do note seeing you in the club over this period. For any further clarification or a billing statement of your account you can visit the club or contact Debit Success, our third party billing company. Thank you. Club Manager, Omar.

Fantastic experience: I have been an Anytime Fitness member for many years and have visited many clubs in different suburbs across Melbourne but I always come back to Anytime Fitness Dandenong North as they are simply the best club, have the best equipment and the best staff. If you are looking for a fitness experience beyond all others give Gino and Omar a call. They are always welcoming, always say hi and they take the time to stop and have a chat. They never rest on their laurels- they are always looking to improve.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this gym. Shoutout to Omar & Dom for a warm welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. The facilities are state of the art and the gym is always clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a great workout experience with fantastic crew and support.

I am certain you were not asked to leave the club, but directed to the other (unisex) studio. We note that this club is not your home club, so we fully understand you not being aware of our clubs policies, please feel free to re visit the club during staffed hours and we will take you on a club tour. Just to note, that studio has been a Female Only zone since June 2019. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Negative experience: Just sorry for myself that had almost four years membership of this gym , the owner is super rude, Mr owner or better to say Mr (lecturer) I promise to continue learning and improving my literacy and language skills , But you also have to promise that you should learn customer service, or at least if you don't feel like talking to customers, you shouldn't wander around the customer service desk. “That is not fair”! !

Negative experience: The owner is very rude and some toilet seats are covered full of pee , some people doesn’t even know how to pee !!! The Music is so loud

Positive experience: I've been a anytime fitness member for around 7 years and been in a lot of anytime fitness gyms around Melbourne and suburbia as im a driver and a lot of times on a long break i use whatever gym is near me whenever i stop.This Gym is by far the best of all of them.Good ventilation,friendly and helpfull staff,gigantic place,well equipped,not bad at all in terms of cleanliness,even have little safes to lock your valuables...i mean...almost perfect.I really would love to give 5 starts.There is only a couple of things that i would mention as a sugestion to make pretty much impossible to beat.Hangers behind the bathrooms and outside.There is plenty room to put your stuff on those black cuberds but they are suitable for small bags,shoes and a coiple of small items.Hangers are necessary special if you are on a break from works and use shirts.The other thing is something that should be standart in every anytime fitness gym wich is having a soap dispenser in the showers...it is a nice touch but just few of the gyms have it like in Greensborough,Eltham or Diamond Creek.Besides this 2 little details i have to say that the place surprised,specially because in terms of cleanliness a lot of the anytime fitness gyms are lacking,wich kind of desapoints me as a member because after 2 years of lockdown there was plenty time to take care of this issue (vents,treadmills,ellipticalls just to mention the main ones)...But you guys are on top of the business and i wish i had a anytime fitness around my area that look into cleanliness as good as you guys,specially behing such a big space!GOOD JOB!!!
Fantastic experience: One of the friendliest and most welcoming Anytime Fitness staff I've interacted with. The entire management team and coaches truly care about your fitness journey. Super spacious gym, plenty of parking, and everything is always neatly re-racked and never had to wait long for equipment!

Negative experience: Anytime Fitness I requested to put membership on hold last Summer for 2 months but they didn't stopped direct debit. Instead of refunding they Offered me to adjust for next 3 months( 2 months excess charged 1 month free compensation) then In march covid started. On 20th march I told them to put account on hold. Surprisingly in April they send me debit recovery notice for $76 ( how you can charge when membership is on hold and covid lockdown) . So carefull

Fantastic experience: Best Anytime in Vic, by far. Huge space, new equipment, plenty of parking, ventilation and equipment. Met new owner for the first time and felt very welcomed. Again, fantastic facility and the upgrade is outstanding. Great work!!
Positive experience: Been a member for years. Was never a fan of 24/7 gyms until I stumbled into this gym. It has everything and more then the larger gyms and it's just been refurbished! It's so much nicer before! Gym equipment aside, I've always felt welcomed and never pressured by the staff here and it seems to rub off on the members. Downsides.. Just one... Ultimately the reason why I cancelled my membership. And this has nothing to do with this gym itself as to my understanding, it's out of there control. The automatic membership transfer. If you use a different anytime more time then another. Your membership is automatically transferred to that gym you've used more. Which wouldn't be an issue if they honoured the rate you joined on but it's not. The other gym will most likely always increase your rate. For someone like myself.. Not ideal at all and I'm sad to say I'm no longer a member.

Fantastic experience: One of the better equipped Anytime Gyms. Plenty of cable, plate and pin loaded machines. I only go daytime so there's usually just 10 members there max. Staff leave you alone so can get in and get it done. Plenty of easy parking. Its clean and well maintained.
Negative experience: Gym has the equipment, but if you expect service, you'll be disappointed. Little to no communication between staff and members. Suggestions, as far as I gather, are either ignored or never followed up on. Also, WiFi (despite it not being part of the exoefexp servifed they provide, apparently), has been down for more than 2 months. They have never provided any updates or announcements saying it was down.
Hi Kao, thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We are staffed between 10am to 7pm Mon-Thur and until 3pm on Fridays. If you need to speak to someone outside of those hours please let us know. We are aware of the WiFi being down. Not many clubs have free WiFi offered but we do. The members WiFi is currently down as Telstra has cut and removed all of your copper phone lines to make way for the NBN. Our site has had on going structure issues with connecting the NBN to our building. It has taken over 6 months. Two months ago Telstra decided to disconnect our phone and Adsl lines without warning and there was nothing we could do but wait. We have just had the NBN connected to the building and are now waiting for a technician to complete the internal wiring. It will be back on in next week or two.. UPDATE : hi Kao. The NBN is sorted and the members complimentary wifi is up back up and running.
Positive experience: Gym is clean, well setup with virtual workout classes. The team is very friendly and supportive. 24/7 access for members. Treadmills face the outside which is great. Weights are can become busy during peak hours around 5pm. Nice shower facilities.

Positive experience: great size gym with lots of equipment and bigger than quite a few other anytime fitness locations. They've got fans but not air conditioners so it gets pretty hot when the weather is a little warmer.

Negative experience: Great facility, poor customer service and VERY POOR communication, never answers their phone and won't answer texts to their mobile. Expect a great time, unless there is an issue, then they'll screw you over- classic gym mentality.

Hi halfcastkiwi, We don't recall your call. You may have us confused with a very similar name club. The only difference we are Dandenong "North". We have approx 50 lockers and the only way into our club is with a personal members key as we have a very sophisticated security system. We have always been there during staff hours. Non members need to come through the double electric doors. We would loved to help you and show you our club. Late next week we are receiving more equipment making us have the most equipment than any other Anytime Fitness club. We are back on Monday. Our number is 9790 0655. Hope to hear from you.
Fantastic experience: Definitely a 5 star gym, heaps of gym space, equipment, and parking, also near eastlink for those passing through dandenong, one of the best anytime gyms i've visited in the eastern suburbs :D No idea on the heat or what its like during the daytime (since i visited off peak at 11 pm) but the gym facilities are top notch :D
