Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at TF. When I signed up, the staff did not go over the contract terms or guidelines clearly, leaving me blindsided by unexpected charges and rigid policies. Despite asking specific questions, I was given vague answers and rushed into signing up. It felt like they were more interested in making a quick sale than ensuring I understood what I was agreeing to. Later, I discovered hidden fees and inflexible terms that were not explained during the signup process. I strongly advise anyone considering joining to read the contract thoroughly and not rely on their staff for clarity. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Do better, TF.

Positive experience: Although this gym is located within the confines of a Westfield mall, the service and facilities exceed those in its Newstead counterpart. Total Fusion boasts modern, sophisticated, elegant decor and amenities. However, not all locations have the same calibre of staff. For instance, the staff at Chermside understand that due to the scant amount of parking spaces and incorrigible traffic on Gympie Road, occaisionally participants for Pilates classes are 5-10 minutes late for their booked classes. Conversely, at Total Fusion Newstead, I have been verbally abused and even physically obstructed from entering the gym corridors because my train was late departing from Milton. The uproarious tumult was so intolerable, I had to recover at a non-descript studio across the street from a Brewery. It's bizarre that's there is such a disparity in service and the attitude of staff between two locations of the same company. However, I don't think the owner and developer of Total Fusion is to blame. The two locations may have different HR managers and training regimes. It's a shame I no longer live ij the vicinity of this location, otherwise I would frequent it more often. Moreover, I would certainly travel to the beaches of Saudi Arabia if I had the option of flying Emirates.

Fantastic experience: Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Range of classes at decent times. Always clean. The welcome pamphlet says there's shampoo + conditioner provided in the showers, but there isn't. Would be nice if they did. Regarding negative reviews about quitting their membership, terms and conditions etc... its all clearly stated when you sign the contract. It's not fair to give a 1 star review just because you're not happy about it when your circumstances change. You accepted that risk when you signed the contract.

Negative experience: The facilities are nice. The aerial instructor on Thursday is terrific. Further training and development would benefit some classes. The contract is absurd for these times. I had to cancel after landing a rental and needing to relocate effective immediately. I also acquired a job in the same area ruling out the possibility to travel the hour both ways to and from TF Chermside. I signed to TF with a friend after our gym closed down, due to the owner relocating overseas. Originally quoted $150 cancellation fee within contract, reduced to $75. Still have to pay weekly membership fees at $30.00 for 30 days, despite not being able to go in. $99.00 to transfer to someone else. The fees can be waived, circumstances considered. This aggressive approach reflects a lack of concern or empathy and a weak business strategy, especially concerning financial aspects.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Totalfusion for about a month by now. I am really enjoying working out there. My working hour changes on daily basis, so I had difficulties attending classes I wanted to attend in other gyms. However, a variety of classes Totalfusion offers works well for me. In addition, I like the facillity and kind staff. Honestly speaking, my excercise tolerance level is incredibly low, so I still found the most of classes are challenging to me. However, I have a full of hope I will be better if I keep working out with Totalfusion. Highly recommended especially to people who hardly get motivated for exercise at home or by themselves at a gym.

Negative experience: Wanted to do yoga and try out Pilates. The facilty at Chermside was amazing, staff were friendly but not able to do casual member/attendance. With no choice, I signed a contact. 4months later moved cities. Schedules for my preferred classes changed and I could not coordinate classes at suitable times when in town. Almost 7 months after signing up (not attended for approx 3mth now) I advise I’ve moved, and am told “We have spoken to our Club Manager who has approved the cancellation due to relocation. However, you will still be required to pay the $75 relocation fee + paid 30-days notice. You can do this over the phone or at reception if you are in town! Please note, your 30-days notice will begin once the $75 is paid. We look forward to hearing from you :)” in a season of hard economic times. I am flawed my request to have T&Cs waived was blatantly overlooked! A great facility for stay at home mums but forget it if you have kids, pick up schedules, weekend sporting events and a 9-5 JOB. And if you move due to job change, ensure there’s a sister gym or you get slapped for trying to put food on the table fir your family.

Fantastic experience: I joined Total Fusion about a year ago now and have never been happier. Coming from a standard gym, the structure and workouts offered were a very welcome change. I’ve noticed a lot more improvement in my fitness goals and it has been a lot easier to hold myself accountable and go consistently! The range of classes available should appeal to a lot of people and I only wish they had a bigger space to run more! A very special thanks and recommendation to Cassie Ritchie for boxing and her insane commitment and positivity, Te Paea Mason, Luke Brookes & Nicola Bone for yoga, and Faris Abboud for Metcon. All of these trainers are amazing, provide an amazing workout experience and have whipped me into great shape (if I do say so myself) I know some people have voiced their displeasure about “hidden fees” but I have found it very clearly stated in the contract, under class information and in your profile when booking classes. Some classes to incur a fee if you do not cancel within 6 hours prior and you do need to give (I believe) 4 weeks notice of cancelling your membership. I’ve never had an issue clarifying these things with TF.

Negative experience: Wish I could give 0 stars.TF are just like every other franchise gym - impossible to disentangle yourself from without financial repercussions. I was home ill this week with COVID during my trial week and decided that their focus on quantity over quality wasn't worth my $30/week so I cancelled. I then received a charge of $21.25 on my account for missing a "limited space class" - a policy no one had informed me about despite asking about hidden fees and charges. I didnt even know they had "limited space" classes until I was charged and this was confusing given that all of their classes are limited to a certain number of attendees. When I expressed my concern they dismissed it as part of their T's and Cs. If you are looking for authentic yoga classes I beg you to steer clear. Their focus is on burning calories, not connecting with your body and they don't seem to understand the meaning of traditional yoga forms such as Vinyasa.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for almost 3 years and I cannot express how much I love the class', trainers/ staff and facilities. TF has completely changed my outlook and attitude towards exercise. Their handling of COVID19, and continuation to keep operating within guidelines is outstanding. They have a wonderful variety of classes and their trainers are all friendly and so supportive of your goals and progress!

Fantastic experience: In love with Total Fusion, have been a member for over 2 years now, and wouldn’t change it for anything else. Last year I also completed my Yoga Teacher Training with TF and it was the best experience! Still do yoga at TF at least 3-4 times a week and I am addicted. Kerri’s yoga classes are sth that everyone should try - trust me - world class! ‍♀️ TotalFusion offers yoga teacher training courses - these are by far the most comprehensive, structured, hands on "yoga teacher training course in Brisbane". Trainers are world class and you don't just learn about yoga, the course is a journey of self discovery. Everyone who loves yoga should do this course.

Fantastic experience: Total fusion is a step above any other gym I've visited.. It's this conglomerate of expertise, outstanding facilities and totally dynamic classes. Yoga to mixed fitness and everything in between. This place will get you fit!

Fantastic experience: I love going to Nicola Bone's classes! So much so that I drive all the way from Bulimba. She's definitely worth the drive. She's a great yoga instructor, friendly and a lovely presence to be around. A friend actually recommend her classes as she really enjoyed her style and though I would too. Obviously I do! I've been coming to Nicola's class for nearly 6 months now and her classes have now become an essential part of maintaining my wellbeing. Sometimes I feel over loaded in the things I need to do and her vin yin classes help ground me, they help me find my way back to chill and I always feel more aligned and centred. I'm also am a competitive powerlifter so my training does take it's toll on my body. I love her hot yoga classes as the heat really helps me get movement and flow back into my body. I'm probably one the stiffest and least flexible bodies in the class which is great because I can feel that her classes really help that. I'm much more loose and limber after every class. Nicola is amazing at what she does, she delivers her classes clearly, she's great at giving stiff bodies like mine alternative options and her classes always leave me feeling a lot better about myself - mind, body and spirit. Definitely giver her classes a go. I highly recommend all of them!

Negative experience: Don't waste your money way better options out there edit to reply: I signed a 6 month membership it should have been called a 7 month and even 7 and a half after your staff tried to charge me an extra 6 weeks of membership when I tried to cancel which I had to email them to correct. Inconvenient class times only now have you started to add functional classes during the day and staff members barely remember you

Negative experience: Terrible management, especially when it comes down to cancelling membership or not renewing. The manager at the time, was very rude via email and on the phone. Wouldn’t come back again - Pilates classes not worth it or worth the single class cost!

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely place to train. The instructors are all professional and caring. One thing I have noticed though is that there is no control with people wandering into the class 5 to 10 mins late disrupting the working class. It also seems disrespectful to the instructor who has already set everyone up and started in time (who then has to try and set the latecomer up with a spot and equipment). I know being late is sometimes an accident but some people seem to just not care about being that person.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym, is well organized, clean and the trainer are amazing. Albertine my fav and her classes are amazing. Looking forward to be back soon.

Positive experience: CONSUMER BEWARE Before your sign up, be mindful of the 28 day cancellation policy. The reason for the 3 stars is because the gym is lovely. Well kept with lovely facilities but the membership side of it, is merely a money grab. In the beginning, if you were absent for a period, Total Fusion would call, however, now they do not care if you just continue to donate to their gym and when you do want to cancel, you are still responsible for a 28 day payment period. Just be mindful and educate yourself with the membership side of this shiny establishment.

Positive experience: I’m having great experience at this gym. My kind of classes... a mix of good quality low impact class and some cardio classes. 4 stars as a lot of the classes are heated which I may utilize more in winter but seem unappealing on 30+ degree days. Also not the cheapest for memberships which include reformer (my fave classes). Overall, Love the variety and frequency of the classes here.

Negative experience: Very disappointed about the cancellation policy. How small Brisbane is! But I was been told that I have relocated 20km away from the gym. Seriously?! Ever after I told the reception manager and the salesperson I changed my job in city, which means I will have at least 5 days unavailable to go to the gym! (Imagine that when you finish your whole day work after 18:30pm,and you still have to spend minimum 30 minutes on the way to gym) Anyway, the gym is just want to keep taking money from your pocket without any sense of responsibility and humanitarianism.

Negative experience: When it opened 2 years ago it was fantastic but now the standards have dropped so much. The reformer membership isn't representing value for money when 2 years on there is still no intermediate or advance classes. It is great new people are trialling sessions but when the class is near full this is difficult for all parties. Why not introduce trial 15 minute explaination sessions pre class. The expert instructors are dwindling and the biggest gripe now is management allowing people to cruise into a class late. Not only is this disrespectful and disruptive but it is dangerous. The approach needs to change and be more adaptive for personal growth but to also offer instructors that development opportunity.

Negative experience: I joined Total Fusion, then had health issues and ended placing my membership on Hold. The Manager consulted with me and confirmed to me that before she would activate my membership she was going to contact me and have a chat as to how I was feeling, make an appointment to meet with me an discuss what classes may help me to get back on track. Obviously this did not happen and instead they just pulled money out of my account with a phone call or consultation or care,.I called to speak to the Manager, of cos now there is a new Manager, Paul, who had no idea as to what was discussed. Talk about great communication!!!! Through the process of sorting my refund and making sure I was ok to come back or not another amount was pulled out without any respect or dignity exposing greedy attitude. Even after discussing that I was not well to come back Total Fusion just decided Customers do not matter, the only thing that matters is getting the MONEY regardless whether the client is attending or not. I am totally disgusted at the way a HEALTH CLUB has treated its clients. I am posting because I have joined GoodLife in the past and when I was not attending for a few weeks (even thought they receiving my payment) I received calls from Caring Team as to why I have not been for a few weeks and offering my options of getting myself back into a routine. Health Clubs should be all about caring and looking after one another, not just money which Total Fusion is all about.

I do a mix of all classes and see all the different instructors and every week/class/instructor is so different. I enjoy doing all the types of yoga, barre, boxing and suspension! Fantastic experience: If your looking for a high quality Yoga/Pilate studio That practice’s Mind Body & Soul Total Fusion Chermside is the place to go! I have been a member for 1/12 years & absolutely love it! Not only are the instructors well versed in their crafts but they they are warm , friendly & approachable. You never get bored with the classes as they do a lot of variety & keep you challenged. The studio is kept immaculate and they always have aromatherapy oils burning so it always smells great! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: This is an extremely comfortable and welcoming fitness centre set in a beautiful area. Whoever designed and decorated it should get an award as I've seldom entered a more elegant and tasteful designed fitness area with a wide range of state of the art equipment and selection of various classes that rival most of the other commercial gyms...if not all! Simply stunning. I want to live there, and that unique feeling makes you want to go back again and again with joy and motivation and not only because you need to become fit and healthy. Furthermore, the staff is superfriendly, patient, supportive and helpful. If you decide to sign up at this centre, you are going to wonder why you ever went to others. One of kind - A 5 star fascility and a pleasure to recommend to others!

Great classes and trainers, would 100% recommend total fusion for people who are scared to go to a normal gym or who aren’t as motivated to work out on their own. It’s all class based and the trainers push you to do you best! Definitely a 5 star facility!

The place is totally immaculate (thanks Sharon) and I love that they concentrate on holistic health internal/external diet/exercise and mental health.

Positive experience: I have a bit of a conundrum... I find it difficult to provide Total Fusion Chermside anything but a 5 star review... so why have I not? Let me explain. I have been coming to Total Fusion Chermside from the begining, they consider me a founding member, no, more than that they considered me part of the Total Fusion family. Right from the start I loved it, most of the reception staff are lovely, always super friendly and helpful. I have met some lovely members, getting to know The regulars, again, super lovely! The trainers I have experienced are fabulous, again super friendly, super helpful, super energetic and always happy to assist with modifications to exercises if needed. The studios are great with unlimited yoga, strength, fitness and cycle classes included in the basic membership, reformer pilates an added extra. So you have so much variety available to you for experiencing any number of different classes, yay! I fell into it full swing... TRX, their signature fusion classes, bells classes, gave yoga a go (so far not for me) and cycle classes just to name a few. As life does it threw some curve balls at me, there were a couple of minor illnesses early on that would prevent me from attending, I remember receiving phone calls to check in and make sure I was okay. What a great family. Then more time has past, more curve balls, this time illness that had me in hospital, not once but twice, I had to take a step back, I had to slow down. Having gotten back into training too soon following my first hospitalization I was very cautious coming back. I saw an Exercise Physiologst to ensure I could not just make a come back but cone back safely. This had me away from my "family" for months. I have recently been able to come back, I got such a warm welcome from trainers and beautiful members that had noticed my absence. During this absence did "Mum and Dad" (the club) reach out to me? Check in to see why one of their family members who was showing up regularly was not here anymore? still paying their membership? that didn't wain, not for one minute. This morning when I made enquiry about a membership offer that had been emailed to me it it became quite the hassle to try and take up this membership offer... Long story short I am now on this new offer. But I have to say the journey getting there has been unpleasant, I had a very unpleasant conversation with someone I can only assume to be one of the mangers and have been told to remove my earlier review that reflected my thoughts on this mornings transaction. I have also had a lovely conversation with one of the awesome reception staff members that has made me happier again. So this is the very long story of how I have my conundrum around my review. If I could rate elements of Total Fusion Chermside individually this would be it: Reception staff: 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trainers: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Facilities: 3 stars⭐⭐⭐ Club Management: 1 star ⭐ Membership service: 1 star ⭐ Overall average: 2.8 stars that I shall round up to 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Find your heart again Total Fusion Chermside and this would be a 5 star review without a shadow of doubt.

Negative experience: Not the best here.Staff think they are better than anyone else and have no time for correct instruction.Membership out the window after 5mths.What has happened here as of late?

Negative experience: I had a bad experience in total boxing class, class was good but the way that instructor treats some clients, no. It should come as an unspoken rule that it is first come first serve basis. 2 people share a punching bag usually and when I came on, the space was empty on the other side of the punching bag. The guy who I was going to share the bag with did not say anything that he had a partner or that it was occupied and there was no yoga mat or things so I automatically thought it was empty. While waiting for the class to start the instructor came in and she was talking to couple of ladies, then the instructor just abruptly told me “can you move to the other side”. No excuse me or is it ok if you move to the other side or any explanation why, just plain direct order like as if I was a small child being spoken to. Being shy and having self esteem issues with weight loss/ being fit, and it is a struggle to motivate myself and go to gym class and I get intimidated by people around me, I didn’t ask why and just move across, all the while feeling upset about it because I could have just easily agreed to moving and I would not have minded it if I was spoken to properly or at least the partner asked in the first place or the instructor was sensitive enough to politely ask her other customer. Be fair and be polite to your customers and not discriminate against color/race! This has put a bad taste in me and I have not been back since in that class although I like the boxing class. I go to other classes instead. I am still a member because I like the place in general and I hope this does not happen again as no matter how good the concept is, and the place is if staff will be like this then it’s no good at all. You can either be nice and leave a good impression, motivate people or be rude and alienate people from the very purpose they came in for.

Fantastic experience: I have been a memeber with Total Fusion for over 6 months now and I can't speak more highly of it. Total Fusion is nothing like a typical gym, it's a place that never utters the words fat or weightloss, always brings each practise back to the breath, protecting the spine and mindfulness. The practise is sleak and modern, incorporating mood lighting and funky interiors which are always clean and perfumed. They offer a huge option of classes from yoga to TRX and cycle which never makes a session dull. I highly recommend Total Fusion to anyone who loves yoga, pilates and functional fitness!

Fantastic experience: Have been with Total Fusion since they opened & it has changed me so much, for the better. Lots of classes & options plus it doesn’t feel like a “gym”. Classes can range from fairly chill to super high intensity. If you see any classes available with Kelly as a trainer - GO!! She’s incredible in every way. Tamar is also lovely & does a great class. One of my favourite places to be.

Negative experience: Unhelpful reception staff. After being on hold for over 5 minutes I was given incorrect information regarding my membership and told to email. It took days to get a response which was different to the original information I had been told on the phone. Very disappointing

Negative experience: Withdrew over $2500 from my sister-in-law’s bank account instead of the usual monthly membership fee. Very unhelpful and slow in returning the funds.

Fantastic experience: One of the best part of Westfield Chermside is Total Fusion. Beautiful place for doing yoga and Pilates and many different other classes. Friendly staff, great trainers, warm atmosphere, nice and clean. I enjoy every minute of my time there! Totally recommended

Negative experience: Very disappointed in customer service after signed the membership. Staffs lack of clarity in company policy of payment. Third party merchant costs passed on to customer even without inform the customer. No reply on email/Facebook messenger until call up. Only exception is studio concepts are good. But there are other studios in Brisbane operates better than Total Fusion. It would be good if the owner of the business read this.
