Negative experience: Small gym. The big fan always on, winter and summer seasons, it hurts the forehead and felt sick most of time. Sweating while doing your workouts and they keep the big fan on!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m sad to be leaving this gym! Good facilities for the price you pay, the staff were always really helpful and friendly, the place is pretty busy in peak times but the people that go here are chill. My trainer Adam was the best - highly recommend doing a PT session with Adam and/or joining his Tuesday morning HIIT class, which is a surprisingly fun vibe for the time of day and never crowded.

Negative experience: Solid gym but they don’t pick up their phones.

Fantastic experience: Friendly atmosphere from both staff and members. The trainers know their stuff re movement and when to push a little bit harder or pull back a bit. Liz makes training not a chore. Good range of equipment to fit the space. Both fans and aircon are in use when needed. Showers are clean

Fantastic experience: Personal siempre cordial. Las instalaciones son modernas, hay las suficientes maquinas y pesas para ocupar, de los 8 meses que fui nunca se sobresaturó. La ventilación es buena. El precio es muy conveniente por semana (20AUD, yo pagué 100AUD la inscripción y me regalaron 2 semanas). La gente que va mantiene las maquinas limpias y despejadas de los pesos. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Fantastic experience: Everyone needs a gym like this in their suburb. Although it may not be the biggest, Snap Petersham has everything one could need. The gym is always clean and kept updated. The team is awesome and always willing to help out or just have a chat. It’s a solid deal as well. No need to go anywhere else, just head over and see Repaio.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic local gym located in the heart of Petersham. I've been a member of multiple 24/7 franchise-style gyms in recent years and Snap Fitness Petersham has undoubtedly been my best experience. The staff strike the perfect balance of friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. If you need help they are willing to assist, but if you'd rather just come in, plug in your headphones, and get to work - they won't stand in your way. I was particularly impressed when they upgraded the cardio machines to the most modern models - this shows that they are willing to put money into making their customer's training experiences top notch. The gym was always kept meticulously clean and tidy; something I can't say for every franchise gym I have been part of in the past. Rates are also competitive and canceling my membership (upon leaving the area) was easy and stress-free. Thanks to the whole team, but particularly Kris and Paio who I interacted with the most, for a great experience training here for over two years!

Fantastic experience: I was moving to the area and was searching for a 24hr gym because of my work hours. I had high expectations because of the gym I left when I moved. From the moment I made contact with Snap Fitness Petersham, they were professional, relaxed and genuine. I arranged to see the gym and talk about membership. The gym is clean, the gym is friendly, I didnt bother looking at any other gyms, this gym does the job perfectly. the people training keep to themselves, Theres no judgement, theres no competition, theres no roid'ys. Owners and staff will answer any questions and have a chat. 5 stars for sure.

Fantastic experience: Petersham has gone from the poorest Snap I’ve been to, to now in my Top 5 Snap’s in Aus. Since the renovations they’ve added 3 Squat Racks, a functional movement area and have completely revamped the layout of their space utilising it to its maximum potential. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in the chain in Sydney, if not the best gym fullstop. Lovely owners, friendly trainers, and equipment is always in top condition. Bonus is the gym seems to attract lovely people so you can work out in a supportive environment. I'd give if 6 stars if I could! PS Liz is an excellent trainer and will work you hard. However she has a problem with basic arithmetic, whereby sets of 10 suddenly become sets of 12 or even 18

Fantastic experience: Signed up at Snap Fitness in Petersham today with my sister. It was an amazingly pleasant experience. We felt very welcomed and had a great workout! Hannah is a legend- give her a pay raise ASAP!!

Fantastic experience: If you are feeling anxious about signing to a gym for the first time (like I was!) try this place and ask for Hannah. If it hadn't been for her warmth, care and understanding I probably never would have started going to a gym. She made the whole experience very accessible and less intimidating. Also the gym is very clean and safe.

Fantastic experience: Good people at a great little gym. The trainers are lovely, always on hand to help if needed. Lots of group and individual challenges to give you a prod too. All the equipment you'll ever need and never a fight to get on anything. Of the 6 gyms that I've been a member of over the years, I'm happiest and getting the best results here.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff, really go out of their way to help people who ask. Chris the cleaner always leaves the place looking spotless, there is a lot of machines/ equipment to use and they have CrowdDJ so you can play any music you want. 5/5 would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Consistently clean, organised with a great range of equipment. I've been a member since the year they opened and in that time they've added Keiser spin bikes, a Matrix S-Drive for sled push & pull style work, multiple barbells including a hex trap bar, plyo boxes, various bands and self-massage gear. Great for strength training, either free weights or functional style (TRX etc). Hoping for a second power rack and/or Olympic lifting platform one day, but otherwise perfect.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. I've been a member here for almost 2 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. Staff are always so friendly, Personal Trainers are really nice and approachable. The gym itself is a decent size, and there's rarely any trouble getting the equipment you want. Everything is kept in pristine condition, and I'm yet to encounter a broken machine. They're constantly running monthly competitions to keep you focused on your goals, and there's a good gender split, so it never gets too 'bro-ie'. All in all, it's a pretty good place to spend 3 nights a week!

Negative experience: AVOID!!! BEYOND Disgusting!!!! Refused to offer any kind of 'Trail' period. Saying that they are a month-month contract so because I could cancel anytime they do not offer free trials. What they DON'T tell you is to 'try' the gym you must sign up which is at minimum $120 NON-REFUNDABLE!! So after a few weeks of paying to 'trial' the gym, and realising it offers nothing of what I need.. reasons such as - They have one of each machine and bench (so unless you go there at 2am you are waiting or being waited on). - If you want to join in on a class it's an EXTRA fee of $69 (which every other gym includes in your weekly payment). So after realising the gym was NOT for me I was told that I would still have to pay for an extra month plus the $120 sign up ($59 for a 'workout' program which is apparently basic, I never received but was still charged for as you haven't the option not to, and $59 for an access card which is reusable if I returned it however they will not take it back) is non refundable!!!! So in short DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM unless you somehow magically know that it's perfect for you without ever going. Because just to 'TRIAL'  for a few weeks costs a minimum of $325!! Of which non is refundable, they don't give a rat's about!! The gym is a con to rob innocent people out of their money!! Disgusted, furious and now in debt!! Thanks SNAP

Negative experience: Very small gym, Extremely crowded, Long wait times to use equipment even outside peak time Nearby brand new Burwood gym is much better Terrible gym management. Been at 2 Snap gyms before and both would simply call you and process the payment if it failed (my card had expired and no one from Snap informed me that I would be charged a fee). The 'lovely' lady here insisted I had to pay a $6 fee, even when I said i would just move my membership to the brand new Burwood Snap Fitness which is much bigger and the same distance away she said I still had to pay the fee. $6 fee more important than weekly membership payment? Good call Snap Petersham

Fantastic experience: Love these guys. The gym is close by with a great community vibe. Has all the equipment (weights, TRX, kettle bells, rowing machines etc) needed. I've been a member since they opened and always enjoyed the staff and people I meet. The place is spotless and the owners are very responsive to comments and suggestions/ideas.

Fantastic experience: I have trialled many gyms and Snap Petetsham is by far the best, hands down. The gym is always spotless, the staff are incredibly supportive and friendly, and are always happy to help. The personal trainers are incredibly inspiring and work hard to make your fitness goals and dreams a reality. There's a great range of equipment and wrights selection. Everything I've ever needed and more! Gyms can be pretty daunting places for many, but the team at Snap create a warm, welcoming and positive atmosphere proving support and encouragement. This definitely rubs off on the members because everyone is so happy and genuinely wants to be there. Snap Petetsham is a great environment to achieve your goals, has a great vibe and culture! Get down there you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of three gyms in my lifetime, and Snap is without a doubt the best. Massive range of free weights, state of the art equipment and clean. I can’t elaborate enough on how clean and tidy this gym is. But most importantly, the staff are friendly. They always go out of their way to say hi, and never have their heads down. This rubs off on the members creating a neighbourly atmosphere. You will feel at home. Their trainers are the most motivated and driven I’ve ever experienced, bringing results and helping me maintain them long term. 5 out of 5 stars for Snap.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Snap Fitness Petersham for well over a year now and I love it. It is open 24/7 which is great as it gives me the flexibility I need. It is impeccably well maintained and run and all the staff are always helpful, friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a cavernous mega-gym then maybe this is not the place for you. However if you a looking a very well equipped, welcoming environment to work out in, no matter if you are just beginning or seriously training you'll find all you need here.

I am not a regular gym goer however I feel comfortable at Snap Petersham because it is not crowded and the environment is a lot less intimidating than other gyms. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and approachable.

Fantastic experience: Amazing training facility. I love using the functional training and the stretch and strengthening dedicated areas. It always feels like you have your own area to complete your workouts in. The atmosphere of the club is inviting, vibrant and energetic.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Snap Fitness Petersham for 4 years now. I've received personal training sessions and regularly do weights and cardio workouts. The gym is well supplied with weights, easily usable weight machines, cardio machines, TRX facilities and stretching areas. They are always well maintained, clean and accessible. The best part (and the reason I keep going back) is the good atmosphere. As a short, non athletic woman I've never felt intimidated or pressured by other members. The staff really set the tone for this gym as they are lovely, knowledgable and efficient. Even though I've now moved suburbs I will keep my membership here as it's the best gym I've worked out in.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym and have been a member since it opened. The staff are so warm and friendly and I feel comfortable being a female working out at this gym. I've been to other gyms with macho guys hogging machines and gawking at me while I workout. I've never had a problem here and find it a really great space for my workout. The small group classes are great too because the trainers take into account our individual needs. Membership is affordable and worth every cent!

Negative experience: This Gym is a waste of time.It offers nothing in terms of weights it is small and absolutely incomplete. You cannot complete a full workout here $850+ a year in return for nothing.I could only give one star when I wanted to give it a minus five stars.Too many unused tread mills which is a waste of space.PATHETIC!!!
