Fantastic experience: For someone who had been gym hunting “the right gym” in the area for quite a while due to gym anxiety, I think it’s safe to say this place is a mega safe haven! The people training here are super nice and you can tell everyone is there for all the right reasons. The manager Mina is a super super legend! I would not have got the tiny bit of progress in the few months I’ve been here with my body or my anxiety if it wasn’t for her. She’s always looking out for people, helping correct posture and technique where needed, which I find to be GREAT! Clean, tidy, very decent condition equipment and great people! Negative experience: This gym is a complete scam. Even though I didn't go to the gym, I want to cancel it, but they don't cancel it. They keep calling you and texting you and asking for money. Especially there is an employee named Mina who keeps calling you and asking for money. They disturb. I definitely do not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I moved to North Melbourne and Coburg Snap Fitness became my regular gym. It’s got great facilities and it’s a good place to train. I’d like to give a special mention to one of the members of staff/personal trainer there called Mina. She made me feel very welcome, we would talk everyday and she would always give me tips and tricks for my lifting form/diet/recovery. I couldn’t recommend her enough. By the way, congratulations on your Marriage!

Negative experience: Literally, any other gym is better. The staff are incompetent and can't cancel a membership. Having cancelled it twice with them telling me I reactivated it with no proof provided. If you cancel your membership, block them at the bank as they will keep taking your money like they did to me. They took 1200 in total and wouldn't offer a refund or provide any communication during the process. The only way I received my money back was getting all of the transactions reversed by the bank as the staff had no intention of doing it. Having cancelled the membership twice. Good riddance, and I'm sure you will keep ripping people off in the future

Also great parking and convenient having the Coles there after to do your shopping after your workout. I’ll be here for a long time I reckon you get me.

Aeisha is an ambitious and humble young lady,always have a great char with her. And the latest addition to this gym was Mina. Mina is a very knowledgeable person,who I believe this gym and its members will benefit from. The above mentioned guys actually form a great team and make us eager to do more sessions...

Fantastic experience: After a couple of years away from gyms, due to Co-vid, I finally decided to join Snap Fitness and was pleasantly surprised at what it had to offer. All the equipment is in good clean condition and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The place is clean and suitably located, with ample carpark down below. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get their fitness up! You won't be disappointed.

Even if you have enquired multiple times until when I get back to you and continue to charge you. Extremely unprofessional I do not advise you to become a member here

Fantastic experience: Good gym with 24/7 access. Can be crowded during peak hours. I usually exercise late night when its a quite time! Good hygiene control with a no towel no exercise policy (people can dodge is during unstaffed hours) and wet wipes/body sprays available. Overall, a good place to exercise!

Negative experience: This place has gone down hill the past few years. Equipment is not maintained the best. Tears in the equipment material making it not comfortable at times. Management also not enforcing COVID Health and Safety. Often people don’t wipe down their equipment or don’t bring a towel. I don’t feel comfortable here anymore especially because no one has the self respect to clean after themselves and management see this but let it go. I will be cancelling.

Negative experience: Quit the gym months ago and found out a couple days ago that they were still taking money out from my account. This totalled almost 400 dollars The lady behind the desk was helpful in beginning to process a refund but I requested that the manager/owner get in contact with me via email to discuss the issue and how it came about in the first place. Never any word from them. I would personally not recommend anyone trust the gym's direct debit system and by extension the gyms service as to me it seems like the gym management is unwilling to look into the issue and am worried that the same thing could effect other people. Overall I would say it would be better to look for another gym as there are others in the area at a similar price point where your head wont literally hit the roof when using the equipment. Edit: RE owners response The stair machine, when in use leaves you essentially no clearance with the roof. My money didn't need to be 'kept' from me as this is an issue where the money was taken in the first place. When I asked for you to reach out to discuss I was ignored. So a negative experience as a customer generates a negative review.

Negative experience: Real smelly gym and not enough space to work out. Equipment very poor, door handle broken it wasn't what I expected. Careful of ur membership contract staff there was charging my account even after I gave 30 days cancellation notice.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with great equipment. I joined the gym over two years ago and its been a lovely experience. It has a large variety of equipment with something for everyone. I always managed to find something to train on even during peak periods. The Manager Eleanor is lovely, friendly and professional. Their rates are very competitive, very good value for money. I highly recommend it

Positive experience: Came here for two years until I moved out of the area. Very decent gym frequented by mostly regular people, and never gets too busy. Previously manager was great, and the place is very clean, and equipment new and modern. Personal trainers on hand if you need them. Some smallish issues I found is that it can be cramped in some places, especially around the pigeon holes and hallway to the 2nd workout area. Other Snaps, like the one in Essendon are much bigger and more spacious. Changing rooms are tiny and toilets not always clean. Sometimes there'd be some idiot dropping heavy weights and doing something anti-social, and staff would never intervene, despite all the signs up. Also parking/traffic here is a major hassle, but convenient to pop into Coles after. This aside, I'd recommend it. If you go, commit to pre-paid for a year and get a much better deal than monthly direct debit, and can use any Snap around. They'll discount it more over time.
