Fantastic experience: Le lieu sportif d’Albany. La piscine est vraiment bien et la salle de sport aussi. De grandes baies vitrées qui font plaisir comparé aux autres salles de la ville, avec très peu de monde. Je recommande !

Negative experience: I had a gym membership for about 3 months, gym was mediocre at best some of the staff were lovely, on another note tried to cancel my membership for about 4 months each time going in and asking for it to be cancelled each time being told to email Jess the lady that gave me the email spelt her name wrong meaning my emails to cancel were not going to her and I was being charged $65 a month after trying to cancel I don’t even live in Albany at this point anymore, I recommend trying to cancel your membership months in advance or make sure you get given the right email.

Fantastic experience: A very clean and nice pool. There are 2 25m pools. The unheated one is great for lap swimming. The heated one has 2 lanes for lap swimming and 2 lanes for walking. The changing rooms are very new and clean. Swimmers are considerate and the regular ones start at 5:45am and are usually done by 6:30am. For casual swimmers $7.30 for an adult and a locker(key type) costs $2.

Positive experience: Small but workable pool spaces for lane swimming. Great steam room and hot spa, even with some greenery to soften the atmosphere. Changing rooms closed though. Long cold trek to change.

Fantastic experience: I'm doing rehabilitation exercise and found the ALAC perfect for my needs. The spar was bubbly and warm. The sauna is rubbish as it's mostly never hot or working. I found the lifeguards to do their jobs well.

Negative experience: Nice facility, gym a bit basic, nice courts, pools look OK. Don't miss on price though of course. Used to work in a similar facility which charged around $80 a month. $140 here... plus they get to double dip of course by renting out their spaces, preventing full paying members from access to things at certain times. But hey, it's a government owned facility. Cant be getting back anything for my tax or anything. That'd be asking far too much.

Positive experience: Great place for all round leisure activities in Albany, 24/7 gym and 5:45am to 8 pm pool, sauna bath facilities and other group workout for members.

Positive experience: Nice and warm inside and a lovely cafe with delicious toasted sandwiches, chips and coffee. Great customer service and a variety of activities including a full gym area and crèche facilities.

Negative experience: The life guard on duty was rude and upset my daughter then when she went to speak to front desk the lady was also rude and basically told my daughter it's her problem and won't help. How dare U make a child cry shame on you ppl

Negative experience: Very hot and itchy inside, I also got a friction burn from the waterslide and slipped over diarrhoea in the female toilets.

Positive experience: Good quality, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Kid pool with slide and whirlpool. Change rooms are ok, bit dark.

Negative experience: Facilities fine but disappointing to see the lifeguards more interested in chatting to each other than bothering to look at the pools and watching the swimmers. Especially on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Negative experience: Please fix the showers!! It’s very concerning that the showers for the pool don’t actually work. There’s one shower in the womens changing rooms that stays on for over 2 seconds, so it’s usually in use. This is disgusting. Please sort it out.

Fantastic experience: Great spar and sauna area. Two really good clean pools. Awesome wooden indoor courts for basketball, netball and community activities. There is also a really nice gym. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Staff are always friendly and ready to give advice and share their knowledge. I like to go early in the morning and if the pool, spa or sauna are not at optimal temperatures the staff pre-warn and adjust the entry price accordingly.

Positive experience: Good community pool with cafe, slide, spa and steam room. Lots of playful spaces for the kids in the warm pool and a pleasant cool temperature 8 lane lap pool. Unfortunately swimming lessons often leave only 1 lap lane for the public at popular hours. Hoping it can open on Sun and Mon again soon. The gym is cosy but packs a lot in.
