Fantastic experience: Great set up

Positive experience: To be honest from the initial look of facility it has enormous free weight selection so no waiting around. And a large selection of pin loaded/cable machines. Of which you can tell at a close inspection are not cleaned or well maintained to be honest. Machines that cables were snapped at the beginning of the week, are still out of order at the end of the week. Toilets are not well serviced either! Found it also a let down that the only panic alarm in the female change rooms were right by the entry/exit. So not great if a fall happened in the shower or sadly as a female I felt unsafe if someone followed me into change room. The cardio equipment outdated, and again very dirty. In a plus the massage chairs were great I would be intrested to see the presentation of equipment when this gym has been open for 5yrs. Give it a go as everyone has a different interpretation of quality.

Negative experience: Just left the gym. Stupid rules like, you can't use the squat rack if you have no shoes, when it's clearly healthy for you to do it so. Rude lady that works at the reception has no manners whatsoever. Just left the gym and going to find somewhere to lift.

Fantastic experience: Never been to a gym this big or busy before but surprisingly even when its packed you can still jump on the equipment you need without having to wait for someone. Also since im a sweaty mofo i was a little worried about the temperature / aircon controls looking at previous reviews, but is seems like they have adjusted the cooling and its currently quite nice as of 23.9.24. Will revise this in the summer if needed. Great membership price and supper handy being able to go to any other Revo for no extra charge, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: i have visited hundreds gyms in my years of training and i have to say that the staffs dedication to keep the gym clean and well maintained is unparalleled. All of the staff are absolutely lovely, though i have to say that Tash and Lucy are amazing members of staff and were willing to help with whatever i asked.Overall, though i have been to gyms all around the world, i would choose this one. I would also like to mention that i have visited other Revos, yet Joondalup still holds the top spot. P.S. i don’t usually write reviews on anywhere but this gym deserves it. -Z

Fantastic experience: Great large gym with lots of equipment and it is always clean. Love this gym.

Negative experience: The vending machines are almost never working, but rarely have an “out of order” sign on them (even after I tell the staff they don’t work). Lot of dust and some squeaky machines. It seems like they've taken the “bad aircon in summer” reviews seriously and now they blast the aircon on 9 degree winter mornings to the point where it’s way colder inside than outside. Once I walked into the women’s bathroom and the male cleaner was in there mopping (he hadn’t blocked off the entrance like the other cleaner usually does) and just said “you can come in, I’m nearly finished”…yeah no thanks mate. Overall the range of equipment is good for my needs and it’s a good gym for the price. It’s not too busy during the times I go in, usually late mornings. Bathrooms are generally clean

Negative experience: My partner has cancelled his membership with revo, when he cancelled no one told him there is a hidden fee it also doesn't say anywhere on their website or anywhere else, they keep harrassing him for money that he shouldn't have to pay

Positive experience: This gym is just amazing, The equipment is somewhat great with lots of space but there is a down side thought to this gym which i have to say that I come almost everyday around the same time and the same music is always playing . The music is just horrible a real big mood killer when trying to do my workouts. This gym would definitely be 5 stars if there was some sort of change with the music so it isn’t playing the same awful music. Appetite for all for your services and support with the gym thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Such a good spacious gym, so much equipment that’s always so organised and so clean. Amazing reformer pilates space, so many racks and every cardio machine available. The staff are super friendly, always have the nicest chats on the way in & out and they’re always there to help which is amazing:)

Positive experience: Dear fine folk of Revo, Love you gyms but some of your locations have appalling temperature control (Scarborough, Innaloo and Joondalup come immediately to mind). My suspicion is that this to do with your having removed / not installed suspended ceilings in venues design for them to fit with a desired design asthetic. The absence of the ceiling means you don't have that insulated cavity and makes that the air volume a venue much larger that it would otherwise be - this effectively makes the air conditioning plant undersized and ineffective in summer. Maybe consider this in the fit out of you future venues. Function over form :). P.S. A number of the functional trainers at Joondalup need servicing, they grip and may need new pulley wheels. P.P.S. Negative experience: It is sad how this is advertised they say no lock-in contract but that is a lie you have to cancel your membership in person even if you sign up online SCAM Then when you do go in person they tell you will be told you have to pay for an extra month even if you cancel membership the next day SCAM so it is false advertising no lock in contract And to top it off the door is wide open on a 42c day no airconditioning

Negative experience: Great gym, has good equipment but is SOOOO hot in there. It’s like they haven’t even turned the aircon on, and on 40 degree days it’s horrible in there. The body scanners always disconnected from wifi whenever I try to use it too so it doesn’t work properly which is annoying

Negative experience: Good price and gym have a lot of equipment, can be quite busy but still manage to work out comfortably. BIG BIG downside is the temperature inside, it's basically a sauna. It feel like no air is moving through the gym. Either need a powerful aircon and/or some industrial fans in every corners of the gym. Thinking of cancel the membership if that is not fixed

Fantastic experience: Busy but clean and tidy, the manager was able to assist with a positive attitude and great customer service when my key tag wasn’t working.

Positive experience: Pretty good gym. Only thing is the aircon needs fixing..some hot summer days it honestly feels like there’s no difference between the weather outside and in the gym..

Fantastic experience: Overall is an amazing gym for the price. It’s got everything you need. I swapped over from goodlife about a year ago and I’d say it’s 10x better. I always see the staff walking around cleaning the equipment and re-organising everything (for gym members please just pick up and put away what you got out it’s just basic gym etiquette). Not a very critical person so little things will not bother me. Suggestions I could make is maybe adding in another water fountain. Staff are lovely and can help you with anything. ALSO the girls toilets lighting isn’t so great :( The only thing I find really annoying (you can’t really do much about this unfortunately) on weekdays after school hours there is always groups of school aged kids using the machines. They take up to half an hour just to finish. Plus they are always just on their phones the whole time Anyways the gym is for everyone!!! Thanks revos

Fantastic experience: Very good gym, very well equipped, owner has a more patrons then more equipment attitude. Shame other gyms don't have the same ideals. Can't recommend enough...

Negative experience: Pros: price, range of equipment, spacious in free weight and squat rack areas. Cons: equipment and weights left all over the place, limited stretching/own workout space, the music, teenagers everywhere either standing in groups or sitting on phones, always busy so don't be surprised by the invasion of personal space, gross toilets, not a friendly atmosphere, staff that only greet people they know. If you still want to join, go in the morning. The children will be asleep, people will have manners and are there to just get there workout done before work. Better vibe.

Negative experience: Very average gym experience. There is only 1 water tap , so you have to wait in the line. Usually very dusty equipment and not many ways to clean them but with your own towel. Tv-s subtitles stuck on screen for weeks . Some gym equipment is not well maintained and making noise while using - doesn't feel quite safe ! When pointing out that there is an issue with equipment(body scan) , managers just lie and ignore you and even reply to your e-mail is a complete copy-paste and no solution offered . Room to improve !!!

Positive experience: Clean and tidy. Music is only good when it’s not commercial music.

Negative experience: Extremely busy. No atmosphere. Very young, disinterested staff.

Positive experience: Great value for money, great atmosphere, good variety of equipment. Can't expect much more for $10 a week. Would have liked a bit more space for stretching or doing your own workout. Toilets and bathrooms can be cleaned a bit more frequent

Negative experience: It’s cheap for a reason

Negative experience: I have train in many Revo Fitness but Joondalup is worst one. All the equipment are unsafe to use and most of the equipment make noises while working out. They should do something about it. It’s not safe for members to use those equipment.

Positive experience: Great gym. And great staff. But every time I come in. The toilets are filthy and toilet paper everywhere. Also sucks there’s no urinals, only toilets.

Positive experience: great receptionists especially the curly haired girl luv her, BUT change the music oh my going from banksia grove and cannington the music here is rank, you play charli xcx and bhad bhabie once and call it a day please give it some spice. Also fix the water fountains pressure and drainage x

Negative experience: Giving 1 star as reviews from over 6 months ago haven't changed anything at this gym. Way to crowded, there is no off peak time. Need to cap memberships. Gym is always dirty and covered in dust, Receptionists aren't welcoming, generally always on their phones. Weights left all over the gym and not put back. To many kids go to this gym sitting on their phones hogging machines. Hope management does something about all these floors.

Negative experience: Make sure you receive a confirmation email that you have cancelled. They make make you go in in fill out a form on the tablet to cancel as you cant cancel over email. Form didn't process for some reason and didn't know for 2 extra months and are refusing to give a refund now.

Positive experience: Decent gym has all the standard gym equipment. Can get busy in afternoons. Lots of equipment so havent really needed to wait for anything. Can't go wrong for the price.

Fantastic experience: I just changed to Revo after a few months using Anytime Fitness. The difference is like day and night. They are cheaper and cleaner, have more equipment and most importantly the atmostphere is great. Always have a good number of people at the gym at anytime during the day, make me feel motivated. So far so good.

Negative experience: Cheap memberships are great but it means this gym is ALWAYS over crowded, poor selection or machines, not enough free weights. Staff are really good though, always helpful.

Positive experience: Equipment is pretty nice, good price but every receptionist bar one barely looks off their phone, soap in showers and toilets is a lot of the time empty wipes are sometimes not available whilst they sit on their phone. Weights are left all over the ground sometimes and receptionists don’t think to make it neat. But nice peers good equipment lots of space and good showers.

Fantastic experience: Cheap, has everything you need and the people that train there are beasts, motivates you that little bit more.

Negative experience: Another gym that isn't very transparent with the cancellation of membership and will leach off of you for as long as possible.

Negative experience: Fantastic gym, but the water machine is never cold The machine is turned off which doesn’t allow it to cool the water don’t know why they turn it off when it’s a 24/7 gym…

Negative experience: I don't think this place ever gets cleaned. There is a build up of dust and dirt around every machine but the showers are DISGUSTING. There is rubbish that has been building up in the shower for weeks, the soap dispensers have been sitting on the ground or bench for weeks, leaking everywhere and the weeks before that, they have been completely empty. Today most of the toilets had out of order signs on them and there was only 1 available. It looks like it has not been cleaned for months. Some people do not have a choice but to shower here before work and I feel like I need a tetnus shot every time I leave.

Negative experience: Their bathrooms is pretty disgusting and never enough equipment available. Guess you get what you pay for

Fantastic experience: Been to a few gyms in the past few years and this is by far the best one

Negative experience: 30 days notice is not real. They will charge current month plus one more (lets say you still have 3 weeks on your current month and you give advise that you want to cancel, then it will charge you one more month, 7 weeks total). They keep answering same thing to cover themselves, like a machine or like they do not undestand. You get what you pay, worst experience.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities and space.

Negative experience: Great equipment, been going here for a while. However, every time I go the place is always FILTHY. Equipment everywhere, can never find anything, no cleaning wipes in the containers, and the bag area is always disgusting. I doubt that’s ever been cleaned. The guys in the front counter do nothing but sit on their phones - there is more to a gym receptionist than “selling memberships”. The only person Ive ever see clean is the girl on a Sunday morning. Maybe they should grab a vacuum from time to time and actual clean the place. And don’t even start about the bathrooms. I go in the morning before work and they’re actually disgusting. Go at lunch time, disgusting. Do they even get cleaned? If so, needs to be upped regularly. You have to many people going to your gym to not keep up with hygiene standards. At least twice a day. I understand can’t do them at peak hour, but doing them both before the peak hours mean they’re at least clean.

Fantastic experience: Good gym. Especially considering the price.

Negative experience: Too busy at peak times was advised to come during the day, unfortunately I have to work for a living. At times more like youth club with 4-5 people hogging 1 piece of equipment, did raise this with staff but they said nothing they can do about it. Seems to be more interested in generating money with low fee's but unlimited membership. Also, the showers never seem to be clean in the evening, might be an idea to give them a once over before the hoards turn up at evening peak time.

Negative experience: Average gym. To many people. Great range of equipment. If you can get on it. Cheap aswel. Seems like your just another number though. No really great encounters with staff.

Positive experience: Music is satanic a 3rd of the time & the staff seem not capable to fix it & unwilling to choose a better music provider & no fans to stand in front of. Otherwise, good& large size here!
