Fantastic experience: Did give 1 star review unfairly due to witnessing many times members letting in guests which is not the fault of the staff or gym. Otherwise no other complaints.

Fantastic experience: An affordable, easily accessible. casual and welcoming gym environment with heaps of equipment, plenty of space and cleaners in from what I can tell, pretty much every day. There's also lots of PT's around who are comfortable working with people of any skill level, if that's the sort of thing you need. Coming up on a year at this venue, I have had a great experience.

Negative experience: Just shouting , taking money without teaching anything, so bad and dangerous person, don't go you will waste time and money.

Negative experience: I have raised multiple issues with this gym and they still haven't been fixed. Dirty carpets, equipment out of order and old and worn out, it's so unsafe that people will injure themselves on this equipment. People working out in crocs and tradie clothing, unclean toilets. You get what you pay for. It's such a shame because I like the people at the gym.

Negative experience: Equipment was disorganized, worn-out, or missing. The gym lacked cleanliness and hygiene with no hand sanitizers or disposable wipes available. The staff were not welcoming nor friendly. Given the fact it's a cheap gym, I shouldn't have expected any better.

Fantastic experience: Has everything you need for an amazing price. Equipment is clean and safe, there's a women's only room and a massive general fitness room with all the equipment you could possibly need. Plenty of parking underneath and on the street. Also offer group fitness classes.

I never saw myself wanting to go to the gym regularly but now it’s my safe space, and I believe Genesis really played a part in making that happen so thanks guys!

Negative experience: I couldn't believe why this gym is given 4.3 rating. I honestly don't understand the deal. Firstly, all the machines are like 99 years old and ready to die someday soon. Example, I was doing rowing and after adding weights at one point it was 60kg, I literally thought the machine is gonna give up on me, when the max weight on it is 120kg. No mobile signal, it's like I m in a cave. No public wifi. The only thing I like is cardio zone, which is decent. Rest all the machines are rusty and makes weird sound when you use. I don't know how it's survived for these many years

Positive experience: For a very low weekly price compared to the many other gyms out there, Genesis is not a bad option (especially when classes can be included on top of your gym membership). The equipment is plenty however a bit out dated when compared to some other gyms, and some of the weights and chairs appear to be damaged or not in the best condition. It also comes with a female only section, which would be a perfect option for women who want to gym amongst others. Though you do need to understand there are some compromises when paying such a low cost. If you are looking for state of the art equipment, a less busier and in some cases cleaner gym, then Genesis isn't for you. However, if you can look past some of these flaws, then you may not find a better gym than here.

Negative experience: Kept getting charged $18.95 every week instead of $8.95 despite having enough money in my account really frustrated that this have been happening for the past 3 weeks I even checked that all my payment method is correct. Im seriously considering on terminating my contract and looking elsewhere this is ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Genesis Bundoora is a spacious gym, fully equiped from cardio range to cross training, strength, mobility and stretches. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the memberships are well priced.

Fantastic experience: Great range of equipment. Clean facilities. Dedicated cardio, weights, stretching and women section. The women section is the best part, can be daunting to do weights with all the gym bros huffing and puffing away but with separate cardio and weights it's great for beginners or building confidence.

Fantastic experience: Gym has good equipment, staff friendly, very spacious workout areas, seperate area for women as well, many classes, PTs always available, even a cafe. Speak to James (the boss) he will look after you ️‍♀️

Negative experience: Really disappointed in this place. I've been coming here for over a year now, and have been complaining since the start, hoping they'd fix things, but they haven't. I'm currently looking for a new gym if anyone has any recommendations! Please! 1. The TVs in the ladies gym don't work, no picture, only sound. 2. Reception is shocking, I can't watch videos or listen to music most of the time. 3. No wifi. 4. Only one adductor/abductor machine, almost always in use. None in the ladies gym. 5. A few of the machines are broken and never get fixed the entire time I've been there. 6. They didn't advise me to use my bank details instead of card details when I signed up, so I was charged a fee when my card expired and had to go through the stress of fixing that up. 7. No free classes like at good life gym (pilates etc.)

Positive experience: Probably the cleanest gym I have ever been to - doesn't seem like a high priority but I was so sick of looking at the same dead moth at 5 Star for 2 years straight I felt we developed a deep, personal relationship. It was hard to say goodbye to Hugo. The pricing is fantastic and the lack of douche bag guys eyeballing you as you enter the weights area is refreshing. The only downfall is no evening classes offered on Saturday & Sunday and the inability to use the steam room outside of manned desk hours (Saturday till noon & all day sunday).

Fantastic experience: This is possibly the best value gym around in Melbourne's North at the moment. - Large and spacious - Ample equipment - 24 hour access - Courteous staff - Good change rooms - Decent crowd For the price they charge, they are great.

Positive experience: Great gym! Just need to get Wifi in the Cardio section as all gyms have it.. Also most of the Treadmills don't seem to have incline that works.. Also needing stronger aircon were the weights are, gets way to hot and uncomfortable. Other than that, fantastic gym!

Negative experience: Cheap and nasty, I've never seen cleaners in the gym and it is super crowded all the time. I've been trying to cancel my membership for the past 2 months and have contacted them 3 times but the direct debits keep getting withdrawn and all of my emails to date go unanswered. Further to your response..I emailed on the 19th of July and again on the 17th of August...the membership is yet to be cancelled, the direct debits are still going through, I'm hoping that when someone does get around to cancelling my membership I'll be refunded...?

Negative experience: Very dissapointed with the service of the Gym. Im new to the area, and keen to find a local gym. Upon phoning for a trial they directed me to go on the website and register. And was ready to hang up. I had to prompt them to tell me their staffed hours so that I could access the gym. Upon entering I was hardly greeted. Told to just sign in and let in. No one showed me around the gym, or showed me the toilets. No one asked how I was afterwards. VERY dissapointed. Equipment is old and smelly. I WOULDN'T recommend joining

Fantastic experience: Having been apart of a number of other fitness facilities I can certainly say that Genesis Bundoora is one of the largest, most spacious gyms I have been apart of. There is a great selection of equipment, a large group class studio with an extensive timetable and a seperate ladies room. I highly recommend Genesis to everyone looking for an affordable gym with a welcoming and friendly environment to achieve your health and fitness goals in!

Negative experience: Good staff but sadly the gym is getting worse everyday. It used to be spacious and clean all the time! Now there's no much room, everything is dirty, vacuum has never been done again, everything is dusty, mats and benches are not hygienic, equipment is not being maintained and every couple weeks there's a machine out of order...

Negative experience: I am about to sign out equipment has not been checked long time ago... it's getting dirtier day by day. I have been there for 2 years and they haven't bought even a mat.
