Negative experience: Good gym. However, their Sauna and steam is by far the filthiest I have ever been to. Never gets cleaned yet they thought it was a good idea to put cockroach poison inside of the sauna! Unbelievable. A good place to get a skin infection if anybody is interested.

Positive experience: Sauna, steam room, showers, and urinals are rarely cleaned. Cockroaches and other insects the size of my fist are constantly on the Sauna floor. I caught a Staph infection in the Sauna, no joke. I constantly see people waiting at the desk to join, while the staff are working out, chatting etc. I saw the bald manager eject a member for having the wrong fabric of towel for working out with also. Limited choice of equipment, you'll be queuing constantly.

Positive experience: Amazing gym with great facilities. What I love about the place is that all the clientele are polite and friendly. Don't have any intimidating roid heads !

Positive experience: I used to come here when it was run by Fit n Fast and can say that the amenities were much better maintained. Disappointing that they no longer accept Fitness Passport which is how I found out about the gym when they were run by Fit n Fast.

Fantastic experience: 5star considering the location, covered 2h parking underground. Enough equipment in the Gym and relaxation area. Great steam sauna around 3×6m with a 3 layers. Friendly staff. Disadvantages: most of the showers need to be fixed, dirty floors in the relaxation area. Overall good to visit.
Fantastic experience: Pretty good setup and excellent parking option underneath. The staff are friendly and the trainers appear knowledgable. Dumbells go up to 50kg. All the usual equipment. Good layout.

Fantastic experience: Update Aug 2023: still loving it. So glad I've discovered Reformer Pilates. Dee is amazing. Gotta get in early as classes always get fully booked. Just wish there was an earlier session than 6.30 and more evening ones! First time inside a gym in 6+ years. Did the endurance class with Andrew. Great facilities and no judgement on my lack of fitness or form. Also pleased to find out there's access between certain hours to the indoor pool. Definitely glad ive joined Club Lime and will be back again... Once I recover from today's session...

Negative experience: Average gym, ok eqipment but ridiculously busy at peak times. Parking is rubbish and expensive. Staff are clueless. Membership process and promotions are a scam.

Negative experience: I do reformer classes as well as gym from time to time. I find Dee quite rude and she repeats the same class too many times. She does the same exercises over and over again. We aren’t there to do crunches but work the machines. Pilates has so many different exercises yet we do the same thing over and over again. It’s quite boring!! Reformer classes definitely could be better and change it up so you’re not doing the same class all week! We need to challenge our bodies.
Negative experience: Would not recommend for following reasons; - Personal trainers and their clients hog multiple machines simultaneously - Staff don’t actually work, mainly found chit chatting with members working out - bathrooms constantly a mess

Positive experience: Clean and spacious, plenty of equipment, free underground parking for 2hrs and reception staff are nice. Not too busy around the usual peak time (6-7) but gets crowded around 3-4pm, I guess bc the highschool across the street but members are respectful so no issues. Bathrooms are usually clean but shared with the pool facility in the same building so floors are often wet. Would give 5* if they were 24/7, so many gyms are nowdays and five docks opening hours are way too short.

Fantastic experience: Club Lime has a fantastic Creche servce to look after your kids while you work out. I brought my son two to three times a week. Ladies treated my son so well and they are great to chat with. I could't make gym going into the habit without ths service. Thank you so much Tanya and the team!!

Positive experience: Gym itself is not bad, much better after renovation. I did have a bad experience with one of the trainers but he stopped bothering me after I complained. They have a creche on site, as well as 2hr free parking for members.
Positive experience: A relative clean and spacious gym with a great assortment of workout equipment and runners/bikes. The gym equipment seems new with branding on the weights. Lack of air-conditioning can make it a little warm, but it has everything you want for a great workout. The packages they offer for membership seem good value, I was only visiting for 3 weeks but found it better to buy a month + joining fee for the amount or time I planned to go, while a casual visit costs $20 per visit. Friendly and helpful staff too
Negative experience: Stay away!!! I warn you... Once you sign up good luck trying to get out ot the membership even if you are on a month by month deal... They will squeeze every cent out of you. You sign up @ the front desk and that's the easy part. Then if you want to quit... Don't you dare they say!!! They will milk you... You can't just quit at the front desk... No... You have to give them 28days notice and in writing via email... But it does not stop there... Even after I did all this I had funds coming out of my account for the next 3 months. I tried to get a refund and they refused saying, take them to court! Please, please... Go to a different gym.

Negative experience: Nice upgrades, but notice you've kept the cockroaches in the sauna. Looks like they've been using the facilities as they are huge. Got tip - clean it.
Negative experience: Do not use this gym. In essence they will not stop your membership and keep taking money from your account. They are really disgusting in their behaviour as we have found out from trying to cancel for two years.
Positive experience: Excellent facilities and equipment, friendly polite staff. Only (minor) gripe is opening hours are a little limited.
Fantastic experience: Great new upgrades. All new machinery. Bathrooms are always clean. Changeroom facilities are fantastic. Staff are super lovely.
Negative experience: They've been taking unauthorised payments for two years after a membership was cancelled and it's impossible to get in contact with them. I've tried email, phone, Facebook, Instagram and web inquiry. The worst!!!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Not too bad. I left them due to COVID restrictions hardship. They are not that pushing to sell. Was wondering to find a personal trainer when I joined, but never got a follow up call about this. Facility has been updated during last lockdown. Staff working there are very friendly. I had an treadmill accident before and the guy Sam? was very nice helping with bandage before my visit to Concord Hospital emergency department. A local ︎ gym. Convenient parking downstairs. The weekly rate is pretty reasonable since they also have a pool mainly for kids learning.

Not into other gym users leaving their towels on equipment so no one can use it while they chat on their phones for twenty minutes. Perhaps some reminders and enforcement of gym etiquette wouldn’t go astray

Negative experience: I've been a member for a year. In December, (during COVID) I decided to suspend my account until February because just was too worried. Unfortunately, I was charged. When dealing with them, it's ridiculous. You are chasing them up for an answer or they give you credit, not your money back! When I did have my membership, I was entitled to two PT sessions, I emailed and talked to receptionist. I was always met with the same answer, we currently busy or we will get back to you soon. Go to another gym!

Fantastic experience: They’ve just finished the fit out for Club Lime and omg it’s amazing! Such a different vibe but it’s so nice, feels like a more functional workspace and a lot more room to exercise! Amazing gym! FitnFast; I’ve been coming to this gym for over 2 years now and I really love coming here. You see the same faces over and over again and it feels like a community. They have a great range of weights and exercise machines. Would recommend!
Positive experience: The facilities are a bit old as there are some rubber handles falling off and stuff, however considering the relatively cheap price, friendly staffs, and clean and organised environment, it is a fair gym to go.

Negative experience: Staff broke in to all lockers without notifying any members. Unprofessional service when dealing with this issue. Failed to provide other services as outlined in contract. Unable to give a basic level of customer service relating to any issues. Will only be supportive if you are giving them money.

Positive experience: I do like the equipment they have and there's plenty of room to work out. That said, it's not 24 hours meaning there are A LOT of people cramping the free weight section during peak hour straight through to when the gym shuts.

Negative experience: I train in almost every FNF gym in Sydney because of work, this is the only one where I get constantly harrased by one of the employees (cemil), everyone else in the gym is friendly and they don't bother people as much as he does. The gym would totally benefit from his leave.

Negative experience: Guys don't even bother about this Gym, They have the worse customer service I ever experienced. They don't even looking in to your eyes to say hello when you arrive Because usually they are to busy looking at their phones or computer in front desk. And let's don't start talking about the want to be trainers they are just a joke Not experience at all and just gossiping about every one the whole day. Due all of this I just canceled my membership and moved on to a lot better Gym with real Personal trainers and awesome customer service. Guys let's don't support this kind of poor customer service and abuse!!! Make sure you look around before you sign up with this people.

Positive experience: I Love your gym but it would be awesome if you guys could invest in some Calisthenics equipment such as a couple of pairs of Paralettes, some Weight Vests, Resistance Bands and maybe some skipping ropes in the Bar/Cardio Area. I believe this equipment would improve the bar area and would make this gym a lot more unique than others because I've looked into many gyms in Sydney and they don't really have the right equipment for evolving Calisthenics. The Bar area is awesome but i believe if you guys added the extra equipment, alot more people could take their Calisthenics training to the next level.

Negative experience: Don't bother attending this gym if you're a Fitness Passport member as they'll want to charge either a $20 casual visit fee or $29 for a pass to attend the gym when it’s unstaffed. The only note for FnF Five Dock on the Fitness Passport websites states "*Fitness Passport members may need to purchase an electronic out of hours access key for a small fee paid directly to the gym on their first visit. The electronic key permits access during un-staffed hours and may also be used to keep a record of visitation”. Since I only wanted to visit this gym once and during staffed ours, I didn’t think I would need to pay any additional fees. Not sure why they're listed on the Fitness Passport website as the attitude of the girl on the front desk gave me the impression they don’t want Fitness Password members to attend.

Negative experience: The number of terrible reviews for this place don't lie. The staff are antagonistic beyond belief and have no concept of customer service. When I asked about redeeming a promotion from their website I was told by a young man at the front desk that "he did not have to honour it". When I asked for a manager he said he was and would not give his name. (They don't wear name badges so are completely unidentifiable) and calling the head office also did not help. The girl who answered simply said "I don't know anything about the promotions". Disgusting staff. Stay away at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Five Dock gym for a very long time now. We joke that I should get a job there as I am like part of the furniture. But that is the thing, loads of Gyms may seem the same but it is the people that make it like home. I love the team there. They are always so nice and we have a good laugh. That is what keeps me coming back. And the results too of course! This gym def has all that I need for my lifestyle.

Positive experience: The ladies locker room does not have soap in the dispensers for the toilet sinks (for over a week) ... two of them are non existent and the hairdryers have been broken for quite some time ... the staff would be aware as they too use the toilets ... even if the dispensers were broken you could use the many pump soaps that are on the market as a temporary solution. This is an OH & S issue and needs to be fixed under health regulations .

Negative experience: Men's locker rooms are dirty, sticked chewing gum on the benches for months ! Nobody cares. Work out machines have been downgraded all the good were recently replaced with the bad ones, no good not professional machines. If there is another gym in the area I would swap immediately

Negative experience: Gone downhill and customer service is none existent. My membership has been altered since the five dock club changed. I now no longer have access to yoga or Pilate classes and the group fitness classes have been reduced. I was advised I could pay an extra $5 to receive access because I was an existing member. This was not the case. Wish I had kept my fitness first membership. Your membership manager is very rude. I will be Lodging a complaint with consumer affairs. Not good to treat members like they are stupid and then I was told she would cancel the membership and that they had the right to make any changes they wanted to existing contracts. I had a very good membership at fitness first for 11years. Fit n fast talked me into joining their club and after weighing up the pros and cons I signed over. Now they have reduced all the classes and moved yoga & pilates to the yogabar and have told existing members we now have to pay an additional $12 a week to access it. Keep in mind if you sign up they can make changes at anytime they like and you could find your membership isn't worth the money you are paying.

Negative experience: Weights are never put back in the right location. Rubbish left on treadmills for more than a week - I don't think the equipment gets cleaned or wiped down.
Hello Zoe, we understand your frustration and we will be sure to remind our cleaning staff to clean each piece of equipment and we'll have our staff remind each member to tidy up after themselves too.
Negative experience: ive put on 20 kgs of muscle since i left this gym. too many people just wanna hang around for an hour and talk, i could never train properly there. traffic is a real pain in the area and the basement car park takes ages to access. plus the pool is often used by the swimming school and the kids make a lot of noise in the toilets.

Positive experience: This gym is reasonably priced and the facilities are good. The staff are busy but want to help. They are polite and all well meaning in my experience. The upkeep and maintenance for this facility is enormous and expensive. For the fees charged and facilities available you cannot complain. Thank you.

Negative experience: I joined up in May this year happy with the classes promoted, about 8 weeks later they have cut the classes available and asked for additional weekly fees to access classes i originally had included in my contract. Customer services staff have not been helpful, get defensive bordering on rude. I know they are a business and need to make a profit but seems like the don't care at all about their clients. Just numbers in the door.
