Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the new look and refit at Plus Caringbah! The gym has a fresh, new vibe, and the new layout makes everything feel spacious and welcoming. Great variety of machines and equipment for all types of training, with plenty of space for functional workouts. The atmosphere is motivating and friendly and team is super supportive. I can’t wait to keep coming back! Highly recommend checking it out!

Negative experience: Not informed on Google that the gym is closed. I travelled 7km to see the locked doors of a 24/7 gym.

Fantastic experience: Love the gym, no frills no nonsense kind of gym. Have all the equipments and in good condition. Nothing is broken or under maintenance for months !

Negative experience: Poor online/over the phone customer service. Called staff overseas and asled them to put my account on hold for 3 months which they promised but never did. As such, asled for refund and cancellation but they refuse to take accountability and do it. Not the first time experiencing this with plus fitness. Failure to comply with duty of care and act in customer's best interests

Fantastic experience: My role as a Captain and Engineer takes me to a lot of places. So I needed a gym membership that was wide reaching. Very happy so far. Caringbah is my local and I must say its the best I've been to. Facilities are excellent. Machines seem new and always in good running order. Bathrooms spotless and staff are constantly cleaning and conversing with customers. Hopefully everything stays as is!

Fantastic experience: A Great friendly welcoming gym would highly recommend anyone to join it. The staff are phenomenal and will do anything to help you.

Negative experience: A gym that pushes terms and conditions like they are a bank. I have moved away and they woudn't let me cancel unless I came in person during work hours or provided my new personal address with passport/ID evidence. A nice scheme to keep their members locked into contracts.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. I am currently overseas for quite some time travelling and have attempted to cancel my membership only to be told must attend in person. When I explained I was overseas they asked to see documentation to prove that I am in fact overseas. You are a gym, not a bank or some other equally important entity…just a gym. Yes I understand it’s in your terms and conditions, you have advised me in every email, but there has to be exceptional circumstances, being overseas should be one of them. Worst people to deal with. I would never recommend going there based upon this experience.

Negative experience: Yesterday lunch time I visited Plus Fitness Caringbah in order to do a trial with a colleague. Approaching the gym office I was expecting to be greeted by a welcoming and friendly staff member. Instead I was rudely greeted with: “Tell your friend next time he lets you in he will be fined $250”. Having previously been signed up to Plus Fitness Sutherland over 3 years ago, I was told by the staff member that I was not going to be given a free trial and that I had two options, either pay $20 to train or leave. I would rather become obese with diabetes than sign up at Caringbah Plus Fitness. As I walk out of the gym, I’m reminded of the reasons why I canceled my membership there all those years ago: Below average location, below average equipment & below average staff. I went straight from there to try out Fitness First Sylvania - they offered me a 5 day free trial, the gym has a sauna, change room and showers, Olympic size pool, unlimited undercover parking, and tons of gym and cardio equipment. I would highly recommend giving them a trial.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve been to!! Plenty of equipment, very spacious so it never feels overcrowded and always clean. The staff are amazing, in particular my PT Jacki who is so knowledgeable, changes up every session so it never gets boring and always offering great advice to assist with my nutrition. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Plus Fitness in Caringbah is the absolute BEST gym I’ve ever been a member of in my entire life. The premises are modern & pristine & there’s multiple pieces of equipment like cross-trainers & treadmills so you’re never waiting around to use something. The most remarkable aspect of being a member of this gym over the last few years is my PT, Jaclyn Hankin. EVERYONE at the gym adores Jacki. PT sessions with her have been life-changing for me. Not only has my overall fitness improved because of Jacki, but she’s helped me to feel strong & confident. Her expert knowledge means every session is different & she’s always thinking of new ways to challenge me, which, as an ex-gymnast is fantastic. I’ve seen Jacki offer nutrition advice to people who ask her for it & wow, she knows her stuff! She is an amazing woman. It must be said that her physical body is flawless & inspiring to all of us. Additionally, Jacki is kind, empathetic, funny & is most certainly everyone’s favourite staff member at the gym. Plus Fitness in Caringbah is very lucky to have this gorgeous & intelligent woman as one of their staff. I don’t know what the gym would be like without her positive & motivational presence. Keep up the brilliant work Jacki. We’re all extremely glad you’re always at the gym & ready to train us.

Fantastic experience: Good range of exercise machines and weights. People need to be more diligent though in wiping down what they have used. Covid or no Covid it should be a no brainer And everyone should have a towel.

Negative experience: It's a nice modern gym but clients are not treated in a helpful and professional manner as per my experience, which has unfortunately led to such a low rating. i.e. ignoring e-mails and ignoring notice of cancellation.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member with plus fitness taren point/caringbah for about 9 months. Started at taren point and moved with them to Caringbah. I was always pleased with staff responsiveness and friendliness. They always did everything they could to help their members. I unfortunately had to cancel due to personal circumstances and the fact they were no lock in contracts was great. After reading reviews I was worried about the process but all I had to do was sign a form in the gym.. Really easy process and staff didn’t make me feel bad or pressure me to stay which I was very appreciative of. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the shire looking for a gym

Negative experience: Only speaking from my experience, this gym is really only suited to those who have been to the gym before. Beware, you will be unable to cancel your membership without inconveniently needing to go into the gym in person to sign their form. Very disappointing experience.
