Fantastic experience: Great gym, great staff. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Was a member for about 11 years. Gym is not worth over $70 a month. Small and basic equipment. Moved to bigger cheaper gym with better equipment.

Fantastic experience: Mawson lakes Anytime fitness is a great gym to train at. It's always really clean and well equipped, even at busy times you can still easily access equipment to use. The staff are also super friendly and happy to help. My favourite anytime fitness.

Negative experience: Worst gym I have been to in South Australia. A rip off at $18.95 a week for a tiny gym with barely any equipment. The gym is left very dirty and untidy, the toilets are never cleaned. Very poor business model and will try to rip you off. You can get a better gym at less then half the price that offers better facilities. Do not recommend. They also sell illegal energy drinks that were banned 6 months ago which is a serious health issue.

The gym is always clean, great range of equipment and I have never had to wait to use equipment! The gym looks great after a little makeover Also I had to put my membership on hold due to surgery, it was an easy process and Shae was extremely kind and accommodating! It feels great to be back

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing the staff are so lovely and willing to help out during staffed hours. Not only that the trainers are very proactive and kind to suit your needs. Not only that the gym has so much equipment that is in good condition and clean. They also have many restrooms and a beauty room for after work/school needs (e.g., hair ties, deodorant)

Fantastic experience: Lovely people and lovely staff, everyone is super friendly and always down for a chat, gym is always tidy and clean and always spending the money on the gym to upgrade. Been going to this gym since it had previous owners and it has always been an amazing gym to train at.

Negative experience: I had been called for non payment and I asked for termination of my membership and i was asked to clear the account first and i did it immediately but it’s been more than two months i am still being charged and when i asked why i was told i need to send an email for cancellation which I believe i should have told earlier when i was called for payment. Completely nuts. Never gonna go there again

Fantastic experience: I love the new management always welcoming and friendly. The gym is clean and well laid out for training. Free classes to get you started and understanding the equipment and your training needs takes away any nervousness and makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Fantastic experience: Just joined this gym as a beginner, the gym is under new management and everything is new and clean *(toilet is clean). Decoration is good and good ventilation. The office lady was very kind and helpful to my questions about my contract, highly recommend it for everyone. Especially at late evening with very less ppl is good for beginners.

Fantastic experience: Finally a gym in the Northern suburbs that doesn't smash you in the face with body odour when you walk through the front door! Super courteous and helpful staff as well with bonus points added as they don't keep pestering you to sign up for PA sessions. Highly recommend this gym if you're looking for a new place to train and gain!

Fantastic experience: Moved to SA from NSW and hadn’t used my membership enough due to work, for it to change to the Mawson Lakes club. Unfortunately when Sydney went into lockdown my membership was frozen, the staff at this club were so helpful and understanding and went out of their way to get my account unlocked so I could continue to use the club anytime. I’m so thankful, and appreciative. Much better than other gyms I’ve been too! Very clean and has a lot of good equipment.

Fantastic experience: I travel around a bit and by doing so I visit plenty of Anytime Gyms, Mawson Lakes is my local and by far the best in my opinion. Staff are great as are the members. Always clean, good parking, plenty of space and good quality equipment. No hero’s, good vibes.

Fantastic experience: PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW. OCCASIONAL UPDATES. Don’t come here, rubbish gym. Small facility, somehow crowded even with minimal people (nonsense I know), messy and plates just scattered all over the places, lack of equipment. Guys, if you insist on training in Mawson Lakes then I strongly suggest just biting the bullet and go to another AF or nearby gym in another suburb. Trust me, even if you live in or around Mawsons and it’s like midnight and you want to fit it a training session just go somewhere else (unless you solely go there to shower or literally have like an easy, single exercise that exceeds no more than 10 minutes). Speaking of showers, could you replace the shower soap in the disabled bathroom?? It’s been legitimately 8 months since I’ve spammed the soap to get barely a single drop to no avail, and you guys still haven’t replaced it! Really?!! The only reason I haven’t given 1 star is because the gym provides chalk, comical I know. Also, for some reason when I asked about membership details, when it got to the trial, the PT that worked there said he could only give 1 day of free-trial, seriously? Just… don’t come here unless you really need to guys. 21/12/2021 EDIT: The personal trainer’s name was Alex. Also, now that I have revisited this page again and have seen a positive turnaround amongst reviewers, I will be revisiting this facility once again. Until further notice, this remains the current rating I have given it in the past. 02/07/2022 Okay I've seen it cleaned up MUUCH better now. My oh my, I'm glad the ownership has changed. New improvements noticed are there are essential supplies in the bathroom facility that stock up quite generously. Soap is filled up properly and constantly. Hair ties, multiple deodorizers supplied, q-tips, proper essentials catered towards everybody. Good... Great job guys!

Positive experience: Covid period and member is pretty bad with hygiene. Weights are sometimes a mess to look for. Could have be a 5 star but 3 for the sensitive downside of it

They charged me for 2 months without my permission after I had paused the membership and they had agreed to confirm with me before restarting the membership which they did not do. I had paused due to finances and ended up being charged $150 for nothing..unprofessional

I do not recommend if you are looking to start anytime fitness they only want you money and + they are so rude and they call police on me for not pay on the same day can you believe it such stupid trainers specially their manager Alex whatever they called.

Fantastic experience: I've been to many Anytime Fitness venue's in Adelaide and overseas. The two locations in Adelaide that are maintained the best are 1. Walkerville and 2. Mawson Lakes. Clean (most importantly, unlike some *cough* prospect *cough*), good spatial layout, and good range of equiptment, racks and weights.

Negative experience: I liked it; but upon asking that i go interstate alot and even overseas, will be requesting to freez account till i come back but they aswered,...... would verify if i have gone interstate or overseas, thn check if ay anytime gym is or is not avaialable over there, thn they will freez the accout. VERIFY ? WTH I mean i might be at home but would want to give myself a break so does that mean i will keep paying them. Naah. Its a gym, not a school environment needed.
