Revo Fitness - Mirrabooka

Fantastic experience: Revo has quickly become one of, if not the fastest growing brand in Australian fitness. The gym is well equipped and the staff members that I’m aware of, namely Kim and Steven are very friendly. I’ve put in a request for the blue clips that hold the weights to be replaced as the blue ones go loose and cause the weights to fall if you’re doing arm curls. They’ve brought in some new black ones but not enough to go around. I also have some really great ideas to make the gym much more vibrant and increase memberships. It’s not something I’d reveal publicly! I spoke to another member that totally agreed with my suggestions. I’d love to have a meeting with the gyms Business Development or Higher-Up’s directly and see how we can break bread because this is a brand that I actually believe in. I called twice to discuss business and I was given a generic email address. This is not that type of business for all to see. Positive experience: It seriously feels like every day another piece of equipment is broken. Certain equipment like the hip thrust machine or seated leg curl are limited, so when one is broken it’s pretty difficult to get an opportunity on it unless you’re there during a quiet period. Equipment needs to be better maintained, and when it is broken it should be fixed faster and not left for weeks. More than 1-2 of the same attachments would also be good, I’m often having to search around the gym for things like a rope or close grip for seated rows. Would be nice to get the Pilates at this location so that a level 2 membership can be used in full without needing to divert to another location. Other than the above the gym is fine, big and open with good air flow so it never feels stuffy and the bathroom is always clean, also a decent amount of parking.

Positive experience: First day back at the gym after 4 months off. Revo is massive! No shortage of machines I must admit. Gym floor is clean. I may need to learn how to use some machines.

Negative experience: I’ve clocked more kilometres circling this carpark trying to find a bay than I do on the treadmill. Parking shouldn’t come with a 20min warm-up. Unfortunately this doesn't count towards my daily steps...

Positive experience: Too cold to workout. Lord please turn the aircon off during winter

Fantastic experience: The facilities are always clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and there’s plenty of space to train—even during peak times. The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about health and fitness. There’s a great sense of community here, and the atmosphere is always motivating. There is ample of space - whether your training strength or hybrid / hyrox this is perfect gym for any style of training at anytime. LOVE it!

Negative experience: I am disappointed of customer service today, I have finished work near Mirrabooka so I come to train at this one but staff didnot let me go in just because I did not wear shoes even I have already said that may I just go in for one day, because my house is far 25km away. I had to come back to my house and wasted much time just to change shoes and train at Ellenbrook. So bad. Never comeback. And may cancel membership after 2 years registered with revo. Bye bye

Negative experience: Its need more ventilation, you will get hit with bad breathing smells when just about to enter the building.

Positive experience: Great size gym. Has a lot of variety with machines. Some of the cable attachments need to be replaced. The Dip Assist machine needs maintenance as the seat gets stuck on the way up. I’ll continue on going to other Revo Fitness gyms which are maintained better

Fantastic experience: Huge place and coll during summer. New equipment as well.

Negative experience: Nice gym, however staff rarely turn on AC even tho temperatures are reaching high 30s. Not a comfortable environment to train in. The heat combined with everyones body heat makes it an unpleasant experience. Most of the time outside of staff hours the fans are on a low speed and there is no AC aswell. In this weather AC should be left on. Edit: One week after this review was posted i received a call from the manager, she explained why they didnt have ac on after hours “security reasons” and said the back ac was on. She then asked me to remove my review but i said unless i saw a change I would not. AC was on after that for about a few months then they stopped. Fans are barely on and it is unbearably hot.

Negative experience: Nice gym, but too many people during the daytime until about 1am-4am. Also, machines are too often broken.

Negative experience: Speaking on behalf of my friend whose membership got blocked because “he let people in.” FYI your entrance system or whatever is temperamental letting people in sometimes and other times it does not. He only goes to the gym outside of hours because of work so he knows other people who also goes at the same time as him. Before blaming your customers you should update your system so you won’t have issues of “people letting others in” when it’s YOUR shortcomings. Then your blonde and blue eyed staff member decided to dismiss these issues and just berated him and threatened to fine him without proof. Train your staff better and update your system!!!

Negative experience: Rude staff worker was chatting with her friends and pulled me up as I was walking passed and told me I couldn’t wear my lighting mcqueen crocs here. She wasn’t polite about it and I thought she was joking at first and didn’t even realised she worked there. They were in sports mode and had socks on too. See so many people wearing slides with socks or crocs and never seen a staff member talk to them before. Expect better judgment / consistency from staff.

Fantastic experience: Nice place for work out

Positive experience: Nice big gym with multiples of most of the equipment. The toilets however, are absolutely disgusting. I mean it’s not the gyms fault that people somehow manage to get their droppings smeared up the back of the toilet seat but this happens on a regular occasion.

Positive experience: Very big gym and always (too) busy, but equipment is mostly in good condition and clean.

Negative experience: people regularly filming or having video calls with other people just trying to workout in full view, broken equipment and amenities that never seem to get fully fixed (seriously, the state of the bathrooms is laughable), staff that selectively enforce rules, and a client-base that largely seems to delight in others having to put away their weights for them. you can find better elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say how friendly and engaging Tess and all the staff are at Revo Mirrabooka. They always make us feel welcome and are down for a chat. Secondly, there is always someone cleaning keeping the gym in top shape. Keep up the good work guys.

Negative experience: I would give this business a negative rating if I could. I highly recommend purchasing a day pass before committing to a membership (if they even offer one, which they didn't in my case). I decided to check out this gym after seeing numerous advertisements. Despite my request for a short-term option, the only membership they offered was a 5-week program. After my first visit, I found the atmosphere unwelcoming, the limited and old equipments, and overall did not enjoy my experience. I gave it another try but ended up disliking it even more. When I tried to cancel, I was told that since I had signed up for the 5-week program, it was my problem, not theirs, that I was unhappy. The customer service is poor, and I regret trusting this business. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Warning. This place is notorious for not canceling when you request and overcharging random months. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS, they will scam you. I have recently changed my payment plan to Girrawheen instead, I do not want to do business with owners that scam people. I have also reported this to the Australian Consumer Protection.

Fantastic experience: Well after a long day at work last week, was about to head to my local Revo but thought I'd catch a session since it was around the corner from a job, went to "Booka" as the amazing Tez called it. Definitely "book"ing myself another trip here, as always, incredible vibe, gym was spotless, can't ask for anything else! Love it!

Fantastic experience: Pretty well maintained gym. Does get busy, but I prefer a busier gym since it keeps me more active

Negative experience: WARNING: Sends debt collection notices and late fee threats to children. The child in question hadn't even been to Revo for the last year. Not cool.

Negative experience: Never have the fans on or air circulating during summer, and pretty sure the heaters have been on the last couple of times I’ve been. Unbareably hot in this gym!! Makes working out extremely uncomfortable

Positive experience: Decent gym and it's pretty big. I was really unhappy with the state of the exercise mats, they were really old, torn, thin from use and just kinda gross. There also seemed to not be that many exercise bands. They might if been elsewhere but there was only 3 in the big warm up area. It just seemed a little run down in the toilets and showers as well. Could be great with a bit of tlc and some new mats

Fantastic experience: The best Revo in Perth. Spacious, well-maintained and has a tonne of equipment - many new machines have been added over the past couple of months. Constantly see staff re-racking for lazy people who can't be bothered to do it themselves, which keeps things in order. Only issue is the cleanliness of the bathroom, although I am reluctant to blame the staff for that - this is a BUSY gym and a lot of lifters don't have the best bathroom habits. Surprised to see less positive feedback about the recent addition of great new machines; I think management is doing a great job.

Positive experience: One of the best Revo’s in Perth. An abundance of equipment, friendly gym goers and no need to wait your turn to use the equipment. Heaps of shelving to place your belongings with CCTV monitoring the space. Kupa, the Gym Manager is super friendly and helpful. He is always putting equipment away and tidying up the place for careless people who leave dumbbells and weights lying everywhere. Always greets you upon entering and is happy to help with any enquiries. His positive nature adds to the great vibe at the club so thanks Kupa! But my god… please fix the damn air conditioning. That’s why I took a star off and moved elsewhere, I thought I was going to pass out on a 37 degree day in what is supposed to be an air-conditioned gym. Step up your game Revo, yes it is affordable but they surely turn over enough profit to fix the air conditioning. It was sweltering hot inside to the point that I couldn’t even finish my cardio. Do better for that guys, I noticed other gym goers leaving after 20 minutes because the heat was unbearable.

Fantastic experience: Joined up about two weeks ago and met the gym manager Kupa. Super nice bloke, easy to talk to and has done an amazing job to the place. Every time I am in the gym, Kupa is always tidying up and keeping the place clean. If there is a problem, it gets solved straight away! This is what brings me back to a good gym - great job!

Negative experience: Great gym! good set up, one big problem with the hygiene issue in the bathroom not clean, shower heads growing mold or something and obvious that the never get cleaned properly. when to have a shower and smelt and looked horrible.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym in July. Have had a great experience since then. The gym has everything I need, everyone is so helpful, especially the manager Kupa, couldn’t recommend this place enough. 5 stars and shout out to Kupa for being so great!!

Positive experience: The price of Revo can’t be beaten. However, the quality has dropped over the past few years. Mirrabooka is dingy, the carpark is filthy, and a lot of the equipment looks like it belongs in a home gym. I know the price is low, but surely we could do better than this?

Positive experience: Can't fault the size and equipment; I also think the membership fees are on point However, there is zero culture in the gym and I believe this comes from the top down. Customer service is virtually non-existent, you don't get a reply: you get subtly 'dismissed'. I presented an opportunity (via email) whereby Revo could support community fund raising efforts by allowing Containers for Change bins on the gym floor (and not limited to Mirrabooka) and in doing so, keep a tonne of cans and plastic bottles from going into the landfill. It's been weeks and I still haven't heard back, despite following up. I also suggested a "busy bee" where gym members could voluntarily help tidy the carpark - heck, I'll even do it myself! Why are we accepting the garbage?? I am a FIFO worker and can't readily get the venue during staffed hours, so am relying on phone contact (have yet to actually reach someone) and email. I know other gym members would support a recycling initiative, after speaking to a number of them on the gym floor. I mean, there is not 1 but 2 vending machines and bottles and cans being thrown out daily! Come on Revo!

Negative experience: Horrible experience throughout - always overloaded, barely any equipment free, no matter what time you go. Staff doesn't care, including management - inside the gates are open and you can pretty much enter for free, so may as well not bother with membership. What's more their 30 day cancellation policy is a scam - if you cancel right after the payment, they will charge you for another month and you end up paying for 2 months! Both me and my friend were treated this way.

Negative experience: Went to sign up, there was no staff at the counter in the middle of the day and they left the duty phone there too so couldnt call. Had no idea when anyone would be back to help me. Will just go to joondalup its way nicer gym anyway.

Negative experience: Thought I’d try out a different location and although there’s heaps of room, I was fighting for my life trying to adjust different machines and also why is there dandruff falling from the roof. Look I have a dry scalp sometimes but this is something else!

Positive experience: Great gym but I question why I pay membership fees when I consistently watch non-members being let in by other members who clearly don’t have gym passes.

Negative experience: The massive gym is not fitted with enough equipment so it's overly spacious. Often very busy, very few wiping stations. I disliked the vibe.

Positive experience: Spacious and neat! But with so much room and spare space, surely you can fit more equipment. Highly used equipement such as the chest fly/rear delts or the leg extention machine are always in use and I can never get a hold of them. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say ordering in more (even just one extra) of these would make our experience much more pleasant.

Negative experience: Perfect place to workout to hit your fitness goals but the management could do better…in providing adequate cleaning wipes. There are hardly any as they only put like 5 blue wipes folded, surely we should have adequate wipes. Suggest you get the ones in rolled wet wipes.

Negative experience: The toilets are in terrible condition. Not cleaned regularly or if they are, it’s very poor work. Equipment is not maintained well. IE. pin loaded machines and belts are jamming. Also they need more machines for the size of this gym. One time I saw there was a guy sleeping in the toilets. Revo used to be good approx 5 years ago unfortunately let go of the quality, over quantity.
