Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness for several months now, and I can honestly say it’s been an excellent experience. The facilities are top-notch — always clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything you could need. The gym is spacious and equipped with a wide variety of cardio machines, free weights, and strength training equipment. Whether you're into heavy lifting or more functional exercises, they’ve got it all. One standout feature of Anytime Fitness is the accessibility. Being able to access the gym 24/7 is a huge plus, especially with my busy schedule. It’s great knowing that no matter what time of day (or night), I can always get in a solid workout. The staff here is also incredible. They’re always friendly, approachable, and willing to help. A special shoutout to James, who has gone above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and confident. Whether it’s offering tips on technique or creating a customized workout plan, James has been incredibly helpful. His knowledge and enthusiasm are evident, and he’s genuinely invested in helping members reach their fitness goals. Overall, I’m really impressed with Anytime Fitness. It’s more than just a gym — it’s a community. If you’re looking for a supportive and well-equipped environment to work out in, I highly recommend checking it out!

Negative experience: Steer clear of Anytime Fitness Rose Bay. This gym is a masterclass in how not to run a business. From arbitrary enforcement of nonsensical policies to shockingly rude and dismissive treatment of paying members, this place is a complete disgrace. I was effectively thrown out over a towel policy—yes, a towel policy—that defies logic. My towel alternative, made from the same material as a standard gym towel, was deemed unacceptable because it wasn’t the "right shape." This absurd reasoning reeks of a power trip rather than any genuine concern for hygiene or member experience. But the real issue here isn’t the policy; it’s the treatment of members. The lack of professionalism, respect, and basic customer service is appalling. While some members blatantly disregard hygiene rules and go unnoticed, others—like me—are singled out and humiliated over trivial matters. It’s selective enforcement at its worst. Even when I attempted to address this issue through formal channels, I was met with deflection, excuses, and an unwillingness to take accountability. This gym’s management would rather double down on their mistakes than admit fault or try to improve. If you’re looking for a gym that values its members and operates with fairness and professionalism, keep looking—because you won’t find it here. Anytime Fitness Rose Bay is a textbook example of poor management, unprofessional staff, and policies enforced with zero consistency or logic. Do yourself a favor: spend your money elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a casual visit and was delighted by how awesome the gym was. In particular, the staff at the front, Lilian was super friendly, knowledge and gave me a tour around the gym. Lilian made me feel super welcome and was super patient with my questions. If you are around the area and would like to join or casually visit a gym, this is your place to go!

Fantastic experience: The gym is so easy and convenient if you live locally. All the staff are very helpful and understanding! The bathrooms are spacious and always clean which is also great. Even though the space is small, every time I go there I’m able to find space to work out comfortably! Definitely would recommend.

Positive experience: The place is nice and tucked away in a private building, hidden but not hidden. The customer service, was bloody awesome. Greeted with a smile. Although it was small and compact it had the basics. Parking heaps in and around surrounding streets.

Fantastic experience: I have been at Rose Bay Anytime for over a year now and go multiple times a week. I have really enjoyed meeting people in the gym as well as getting to know the managers and PTs, everyone is so friendly. Though sometimes the morning's can get crowded, Anytime Rose Bay has ALL machine equipment so that there is something for everybody! I have even noticed that it has some machinery that other Anytime's don't have such as the hip adbductor machine! Would recommend visiting here!

Not as big as some other AF gyms, but it is enough for most people, with most if not all the machines you would find elsewhere and the members are nice and respectful. Have been going there for a month or so and I definitely made the right choice. The staff are also very communicative and are happy to help with whatever.

Fantastic experience: Absolute 10/5 place. Staff are amazing, namely Lilian and co. They are caring and look after their members. They have great interaction with the members and are always looking for feedback and they consistently improve on what we ask for. Facilities are great and if you know what time to go, the equipment is available. I have been a member here for many years and I dont have a single complaint. Convenient location with shops nearby for post gym snacks and dinner prep. Loads of parking. Great gym and great job staff.

Fantastic experience: The girl at the desk was an absolute delight. I was struggling with my form on a few lifts and she was very helpful in correcting my form and didn't make me feel embarrassed. The gym culture is extremely friendly and welcoming will definitely be training here in the future.

Fantastic experience: The perfect balance. It's small, friendly and local but also spacious, well-stocked and well-maintained. Perfect for beginners or veterans. It's so nice to have somewhere that's open 24/7 and has all the benefits of being part of a larger company that doesn't actually feel like a faceless franchise on the inside; such a friendly atmosphere.
