Fantastic experience: Hi Guys started coming to this Gym, and people are friendly, the new Massage area with the massage guns and vibrating rollers levels up this gym by far!! 24 Hour Sauna, whats not to like, kudos to management, it’s a great gym and cleanliness is A class!!!

Negative experience: Multiple machines out of order and it does not have biceps curl, hip thrust or leg raise, which is basic equipment. Machines are quite old and membership is too expensive at $25.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with great selection of machines and weights. I like the group fitness classes and the PTs. I've been going here for 2 years.

Negative experience: The nicest staff + vibe. However, they significantly increased my fortnightly price without any written or verbal notice (despite the contract stating they should do so). A little seedy and it's really made me second guess coming here. I have tried various gyms for years and snapfitness is definitely very dated in comparison. However, snaps price is on par to gyms with much newer equipment + cleaner facilities. The only reason I'm staying for the moment is for convenience.

Fantastic experience: My first time in a gym. I chose this one because it's close to my home, and the membership is flexible l. I wanted that as it was my first time trying the gym, and I was not sure if I was going to like it. The gym is clean, with friendly staff and with a variety of group classes. Im enjoying it so far so I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Lovely little Gym that is extremely convenient to the PA Hospital. Bryce & the PT’s In the club early in the morning are all very lovely, friendly & helpful. The club has A lot of different equipment available for strength training & also Group fitness classes.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with plenty of equipment. Love the accessible layout and large functional fitness room. The instructors and training staff are all super friendly and are always happy to offer their expertise. Bryce knows all the members by name and every time I entered the gym I was greeted with a warm welcome. I couldn't recommend Snap Buranda more.

Fantastic experience: Overall a great gym, I started a free trial here recently and the guy at the front desk, I think his name is Bryce, is actually amazing. He remembered my name after the first visit and is always so welcoming. I’m hoping to sign up here after my free trial ends and while there are things I could fault about the gym as it’s a little small, overall it has everything I need and a good selection of classes as well. Good area for stretching and other activities in the place where they hold the classes - that’s the reason why I like coming here so much

Fantastic experience: Bryce is the absolute best, a legend with hospitality and customer service. Snap should consider themselves lucky to have such an attentive and welcoming employee makes going to the gym 10 times better. The gym itself is a great facility. Has its peak times but over all isn’t too crowded. Definitely a great club if you’re new and/or looking in the area

Positive experience: There is much to celebrate as the gym boasts a plethora of machines and free weights, new and used. A classroom is almost always available, save for classes, and is great for stretching/warming up. Sadly, the floor is sloped in the lifting platforms in the far side of the gym. This will greatly impact the strength and stability in those who do SBD, overhead press and the Olympic lifts. I can see that an attempt was made to level the platforms with more planks of wood but that did not do much it seems. The bathrooms almost always feel stuffy, no such thing as ventilation in them and the sauna looks rarely used. On a positive note, the patrons are keenly aware to replace their used weights in the right (or close enough) places, most of the time. On a funnier note, one of the staff (in his off time) sure likes to abuse the equipment and making grunting noises. Maybe he dislikes rack lifts so much that he drops the bar on the safeties after every rep with a satisfied visage. Or that he hates bent-over DB rows even more that he does a heavy grunt after every rep and angrily throws the DB down. Bad for the equipment, I'm sure but at least I'm entertained in between sets.

Positive experience: Bad communication while the lovely manager is away.

Fantastic experience: Had the best service I have experienced in any retail business. The staff member jack, was extremely generous and helpful.

Negative experience: From constantly cancelled GF classes to the crèche being cancelled with one week notice, fees increasing , and GF trainers and PT trainers quitting in droves, to the front desk managers that can’t remember your face after months of seeing you weekly ( not expecting my name, just my face ), to dust everywhere and broken machines I recommend looking elsewhere. The icing on the cake was selling me a $35 crèche pass the week before the crèche closed and then refusing to respond to any requests for a refund.

Positive experience: This snap is one of my favorite in Equipment wise, since have most of the machines, they need to improve in the locker room and detox room cause is not working.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training here properly for around 6 months and I’ve had incredible progress. With so much help whenever I needed it from any staff member no matter if they were on their shift or in the non staffed hours working out they were always willing to help and give tips. When I first started my form was terrible - almost immediately a staff member came over and showed me correct technique and tips for growing my body. Also the people that work out here are so incredibly accepting and kind. As someone who was super nervous and scarred to start at the gym, the entire place made me feel at home. And now after 6 months, it’s like my second home.

Negative experience: Gym NOT good. Lady Manager has attitude problems and only talks to people she wants to. Lady Manager has zero respect for members or gym. Not sure why she is Manager. Very disrespectful.

Negative experience: The biggest scam the world! After I subscribed me in this gym, they told me that with just a previous 1 mouth of notification to cancel me membership it was enough to leave it. It’s been already 3 months since I canceled and they still charging me. Besides there was few machines that were broken and they never repaired them. Also a very xenophobic manager. Worst gym ever.

Negative experience: I have cancelled my account with them 4 months ago due to moving away. And they still taking money out of my account which is illegal. And I have spoken to 4 different people there about this issue.

Negative experience: First time visiting this snap after moving to this area and I’m so disappointed. Gym and bathrooms were dirty and equipment is average. My partner had issues signing in with his card due to snaps own system error. A staff member instead of assisting waited inside the door to watch us both use our access cards.

Fantastic experience: Have been coming to snap buranda for about a year now and just love the convenience of the location along with how beautifully friendly the staff are. Lachy always greets me using my name and has a great genuine nature about him that always starts my workout well. The PTs like Tamlan and Roger always carry a great energy and if ever need be they will give me advice if I ask them on how to preform a workout even though I have never paid for a session. It’s just out of the goodness of their heart. Love snap buranda and love everyone there!

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve been to! Friendly staff and PT’s that are always up for a chat, a good variety of classes and class times and always so clean. Heaps of room so you don’t feel squished or rushed in the gym. Haven’t found a gym that’s comparable to Buranda Snap Fitness

Snap fitness Buranda has a lot of great (new) equipment and machines to use. I see a cleaner at club every morning. Everywhere is clean and shiny. Group classes are so helpful. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice gym to train at.

Fantastic experience: One of the best SNAP Fitness Clubs in the area. Bigger than most of all SNAP Clubs around Brisbane area. Has a bigger layout of multi-gym modules spread over & won't need to wait too long for any particular machines even during peak hours too. Excellently maintained with the most friendly & professional trainer staff all day to assist as well.

Negative experience: Big gym with lots of equipment, however several machines are always out of order (broken) on any given day. Always dirty with plastic bottles and rags left on the floor for sometimes days at a time... Some staff use 2-3 machines at a time without towels and don't wipe down after (even throughout peak Covid-19 times). Edit: Another day, another 2 more machines broken. Edit #2: Brisbane still has a broad mask rule for Covid-19, yet some staff still walking around & interacting with clients without wearing a mask... unbelievable. Still rubbish/ wipes / old masks left lying around the place...

Negative experience: After 13 years of Snap membership these guys decided to increase my fotnightly fees without any communication. This increase also means im paying almost double what other gyms are offering. Plus the facilities at other gyms are far superior to snap woollongabba, all for a lower price. I wont be recommeneding this gym to anyone

Fantastic experience: Nice and open place, heaps of unique machines - definitely one of the better Snap Fitness' arounnd - didn't realise it had a sauna until had a bit of an explore. They've recently opened it up even more, which makes it look even bigger.

Negative experience: Facilities are pretty decent for a Snap, previously would have given it 4/5 star. Purely due to the new management this rating has been given. Not mentioning a name but they are rude and extremely unpleasant to deal with. Saw him giving a lecture to a member who’s card didn’t work due to the clubs fault which was extremely awkward for other members around (not the mention the actual member) He should be on his way out, previous manager was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I have been to! Staff is always friendly. The personal trainers are the best among the lot! They connect with their clients and formulate a personalised plan! Gym cleaner Dan always does a great job in keeping the gym spot clean! Finally, the gym manager, Pete is the friendliest face in the gym who prioritises in making this gym a better place for everyone and keeping it upto the expectations of every client! :-)

Fantastic experience: Snap Fitness Buranda is a great gym. The staff and trainers are all so friendly, welcoming and also helpful. I see them with the members and they are always so willing to help. They are happy fun and always say hello. The size of the gym is great, lots of good equipment and never have to wait for anything. They keep it pretty clean and tidy also which is great. Is easy to park also, which is a bonus. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice gym to train at.

Negative experience: Gym was ok, similar to any other gym. But when I cancelled my membership they continued to charge me even though I had completed the correct paperwork. It took several phone calls and emails and 2 months before they refunded my money. This has made me lose trust in this business.

Negative experience: My review after 1.5 years of using this gym. Pros: - One of the largest snap gyms in Brisbane with plenty of free weight equipment - Lots of cardio equipment - A section with 4 x squat racks & another with 5 x squat racks(one of the driving factors for me attending this gym) Cons: - The aircon/fans never seem to be working - There is 2 water bubblers which often has such low pressure it dribbles out - The towel rule seems to be optional - Equipment is rarely put back or cleaned - During peak times a floor class is ran in the section with 5 x squat racks instead of the floor room ?? - People using multiple pieces of equipment at once - Rude staff

Negative experience: dont waste your time at snapp buranda i had constant issues with my access card i first joined snapp sunnybank years ago then i moved out of brisbane and requested they cancell my account i tryed to email them twice requesting they close my account both emails bounced back they then told me they needed some form of writing to close the account and for some reason a text message was unacceptable since then after moving back brisbane and joining snapp buranda with a new account set up by snapp buranda they accused me of puting a block from the bank i went to the bank and they told me there was no such block on this new account and then i get a email from the manager saying ive put a block on the new account why would i do that i cant get into the gym stay away from snapp gyms from ben kington
