Negative experience: Cancellation fee is $195 which is not notified when joining. The manager (Nicole) is racist. She said " I know what is your background is" during the conversation. Phone harassment as when they call one time, you are busy and not answer. They will call many calls with " NO CALl ID" Not recommended to this gym. If has No star, I will choose this option instead of 1star Thanks Cam Giang Bui

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area. The staff are friendly. Plenty of weight plates and dumbbells. The best feature about the gym is each area is sectioned off, not open so allows you to work out with little disturbance.

Negative experience: I have been at Recreation for the last 13 years, none of the equipment has changed since the time I have been here, equipment also takes ages to fix when broken and I find the customer service at this gym is terrible! A problem I want to discuss is that in the last 4 weeks, the drinking fountain were broken and we were told to fill up our water bottles in the toilets, especially during summer when the weather is hot and 4 weeks to fix a water fountain is not acceptable!

The staff are super friendly, there are so many equipment options, the women’s gym has a great vibe, and the place is always clean. The environment is really positive and the proof is in the pudding - I’m getting real fitness results :)

Negative experience: Not great at all! Packed with kids training in their PJs and pretty bad BO! Staff appear friendly but do not do much at all. They seem very lazy just sitting behinde the counter and not doing much at all.The equipment needs a really good clean and re fresh, same goes for general cleaning, the place is fairly dirty. Male bathrooms are ok when the kids are not vaping inthere and flirting with eachother or punching wholes in the walls. This place has huge potential unfortunately not much tlc from owners/staff. I honestly wish i could give 5 . Hope you guys improve

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this gym. I absolutely love the staff here, very friendly and helpful and will look after you. The Zumba classes are the best ever! It's one of the only gyms I reckon that has zumba everyday, with some days having two zumba classes in the one day. The Zumba instructors are also fabulous and they just make it a whole lot of fun for everyone. It's just like a party! . So please do come to this gym, you won't regret it! ❤️

Happy to help and explain and quick problem solving skills if there are any issues. Trainer guy is very nice as well. Cool personality. A lots of equipment to get your body in shape and are in excellent working conditions. Ladies have seperate secure area to do work out as well. Nice and tidy. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, amazing facilities and spacious. Always spotless, they have cleaners daily to ensure hygiene standards are in place. The staff are amazing, especially Nicole who is always up for a chat. She is warm, friendly, always greeting on arrival and has an inviting personality which makes coming here an absolute pleasure. Coach Laurence is an incredible PT, he is highly skilled in fitness and nutrition and has extensive knowledge. Anyone looking for a place to start a fitness journey should definitely visit.

Fantastic experience: Tidy and this is a spacious gym. Helpful friendly staff the trainers are also exceptional. Heaps of different fitness classes to attend and a lot of different machines available. Theres a womens only area which I think is great, the members that train here are pretty friendly too no ego and you can shower.

Fantastic experience: Today marks one year anniversary since I joined this gym. So, I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience and also say a big THANK YOU to all the wonderful staff members there. Quite frankly, I was petrified upon my first visit. I was overweight, I was very insecure, I was lonely, I was scared of the outside world. However, the moment I stepped inside I was greeted by friendly staff who attempted to make me feel relaxed and comfortable. They have proven time after time that they are supportive, helpful and nothing is a hassle. All instructors are consistently available to answer any questions, provide suggestions and all clearly have a lot of knowledge and passion for what they are doing. I visit this gym at least 4 times a week. I love the great mix of classes, the multicultural community and to be honest I feel like I have made new FAMILY here at my local gym. Thank you Nicole, Karina, Sarah, Shanii, Laurence, John and all the other wonderful people who work there for making it such pleasure to attend your gym. My life has changed for the better. I have made long lasting friendships, lost 17kgs but more importantly I am having the time of my life and being happy!! If I can stop being a couch potato then anyone is certainly able to do the same and take charge of their health and fitness. Forever grateful, Kasia xx

Negative experience: I was a member at this gym, now a little insight to this gym, my husband been a member for 14 years then my boys joined then I joined. In this time my whole family has left after Nicole became manger the gym and Terry was the best manager. The new owners need to look at their team that’s runs that gym, it’s not clean, they just sit all night on phones, don’t acknowledge customers, leave air conditioning on, the toilets are in a bad state, plus what management uses the gym equipment while customers are working out. They are very aggressive in tone and they allow young members to come in with out parenting supervision. It’s isn’t safe. I have spoken to them regarding how, what the rules are but they keep changing rules as they seem fit. Don’t join this gym, it run by two sisters that are full of it. Get new management that are friendly and put customers first….

Negative experience: Little has improved at this gym in the last 15 years in terms of customer service. I regret coming back to give them another chance. The gym staff are impolite and unprofessional; on one occasion they tried to hide their terms and conditions from me when I questioned them about one of their facilities. One member walked in to train, and within seconds of entering, the staff member at the main desk audibly said for others in the foyer to hear "...you defaulted on a payment." Is that really any of our business? The male changerooms are consistently not well cleaned and the classes lack variety. Just... go to another gym in the area if you can.
