Fantastic experience: What a great find! Some friends introduced me (back) to climbing recently when they joined here and it has been so great! Incredible staff, amazing space, social and friendly atmosphere, and food perfection! One of the 8 segments of wall are reset on a weekly rotation, so there is always something new to climb. From easy to terrifyingly hard (as a newbie) there is something for everyone. Staff and climbers alike are so friendly and helpful... It's been absolutely incredible finding this fun and welcoming community in the West! There are lots of extra touches that make this place really special too: key climbing products available for purchase, the little coffee and toastie 'van' on-site serves you delicious treats prepared whilst you climb (eaten off the mats of course), there are both strength and cardio warm up rooms, lots of climbing related books to get tips and tricks from, AND, there is even a Remedial Massage Therapist available for appointments twice a week (she's awesome!), The hours are great too... So you can often find times during the week and weekend when it's not too busy. Thank you Climb West!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic place! I'm a Girl Guides leader in the area and we took our group of 11-15 year olds to Climb West for a couple of hours bouldering, it was a fantastic experience all round. Super welcoming and helpful staff, and an overall great environment. All of our girls were beginners, and had a great time challenging themselves trying something new. It felt safe, inclusive and fun. Would recommend and we will be back!

Fantastic experience: everyone is very sweet and nice and very friendly. the climbs are fun to do and they are pretty difficult but i still get it at the end. climb west is a fun place to go to with kids or just a got a few hours if your bored it’s really fun

Fantastic experience: Climb West is the best! The first time I walked in I was amazed at how relaxed and inclusive it felt. The problems are fun and there’s a good range of easy, medium and difficult ones. Staff are so lovely and the cafe (Jimmy) is great. It’s a great place to come hang out even if you’re not climbing, to have a coffee and a board game and a chat. Such a great community and one of my favourite places to be.

Fantastic experience: Great place for beginners and serious climbers. Very professional, very advanced. Very tall! The team is friendly and supportive. The price for a day path is slightly on high end but worth the experience of really high climbing unlike other places. Teenagers will be thrilled. Great waiting room where parents can relax and have a cup of coffee. Coffee is at reception and if you step out a bigger canteen in the sport centre.

Fantastic experience: Been a regular climber here for 3 years and I love this place! The coffee van, the facilities, the people & staff are all amazing! I love the weekly/bi-weekly resets of the walls as someone who goes regularly! Shoutout my CW FAM!!

Fantastic experience: First time here. Had such a fun time. Staff and clientele are extremely friendly. If you don’t want to climb, there is seating and games along with a coffee and foot truck! There is a small gym as well. Facilities are clean. Can’t fault it.

Fantastic experience: Climb west was the fist bouldering gym I went to! No I’m a regular there! The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere and energy is very safe, friendly and welcoming! They change their walls regularly so hard to get bored. They have lots of climbs at different difficulties too. They provide free drinking water and access to there small gym perfect for a post climb workout for those looking to do a bit more of a workout session! Awesome place would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Adjustable Kilter board 5/5 The adjustable feature allows for a greater range of difficulty and versatility in training. Having an adjustable kilter board is a great asset as it allows for a wider range of skill levels to train on it and improve their climbing skills.

Fantastic experience: Truly lives up to the solid 5 star rating. Super clean facilities, some really surprising gym equipment with a full cardio room! Climbs are a lot of fun and well set, challenge for all levels with a good variety. Best part is the adjustable kilter board! Even if you live a bit further definitely give this place a shot, you'll love it. Also coffee and drinks are very affordable ☺️

Positive experience: This place is great they have a really good range of beginner to advanced climbing. A gym with weights, bar and benches. The food and smoothies are really good too. I would recommend Climb West to anyone wanting to try out climbing. Shoes and chalk are available to hire and buy also.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her 10th Birthday here with 9 kids in attendance. Was a really nice space, there was no time limit and we were welcomed to bring our own food/cake etc. Climb West has a relaxed vibe, and staff were super friendly and helpful. They also have their own coffee van and the coffee is 10/10!! Definitely a place that accommodates those new to climbing and advanced. Well worth a visit and certainly a good kids party venue for over 8’s. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Really cool wall design

Fantastic experience: I like climb west. The gym has achieved something that is quite rare to achieve in a bouldering gym; a nice gradient that is welcoming to both new comers and experienced climbers. I am on the lower end of the experienced scale when it comes to bouldering and hence its quite a fun experience to go to Climb West and find that I can spend many hours there enjoying myself. The staff are quite fun, open and approachable. And the coffee is quite good too :)

Fantastic experience: Wow! What a space! :) this is the only bouldering gym in Melbourne you ever need to go to!!! Such friendly and helpful staff, amazing climbs for all experience levels, super clean and comfy chillout areas, awesome showers and change rooms and OMG the coffee and toasties are to die for! I could literally spend 24hrs there haha!! Go check it out!

Fantastic experience: I started my bouldering journey at Climb West, from the beginning the staff we're incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now I consider myself a "regular" at with the climbing gym and yoga. I would highly recommend checking this gym out and their coffee van (they have the best dirty chai's)

Clean and functional services with a spacious yoga room and compact gym area with very reasonable prices. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic experience: Small but feature packed, friendly and chilled gym. Plenty of harder climbers to swap beta with too. They've spent a bucket load on quality holds and volumes, there's a range of wall angles and styles of problem, a basic free weights setup, yoga upstairs, and a kilter board if you're looking for a benchmark or keen to push harder.

Fantastic experience: The owners are the most amazing people you will meet. Always cheerful and happy to see when you arrive. The facilities are clean and too notch. The route setting suited for all levels, beginner to elite. The kilter board is hectic, and the van drinks and grub 10/10. The staff amazing. The one thing that stood out was that due to my extenuating circumstances they were able to help me out when I needed without hesitation. (Keeping private details out) Please come and visit this gym, truly a gem within the West.

No matter your ability, be it your first time discovering the sport, or a veteran needed a space to train, Climb West Melbourne is a wonderful bouldering gym. The route setting is top notch with a great mix of grades and styles to suit just about everyone, with a wide selection of holds and volumes. On top of all that, they have a small cafe offering great coffee, toasties and other treats to keep you going.

The staff are all so friendly and have created an amazing community full of inclusive and likeminded people. The climbs are so well set, and you can go at your own pace which is perfect for beginners or someone scared of heights. The gym and facilities are always clean, and they have great coffee, snacks, yoga and a weights room!

I have been to a few of the Womxn's events on Tuesday's and they have been amazing. Coach Jo is so great. I have learnt a lot in a short period of time and met lots new people. Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, love the comp wall! They have so many different climb styles from dynos, crimps, slab style, etc. But one thing that you might not find at most other climbing gyms are sick traverse climbs too which makes visiting climb west a must!

Fantastic experience: Jess was excellent! We had a group booking and she was very flexible, accomodating, and patient with us. Facilities were superb and the community there was very helpful all around. We will definitely be coming back no doubt!
