Fantastic experience: Great place and great value for money. Shout out to the venue manager. He is so passionate about the place and has a lot to offer!

Positive experience: Awesome GYM. But….. Anytime Fountain gate is a great GYM. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Equipment is in good shape and is pretty high quality. My only thing causing this review to not be 5 stars is the showers. For me this is a big deal as this gym is on the way to work for me and I wanted to go straight to work from the gym. Unfortunately there has been multiple occasions where i have to go back home to shower and then to work. The showers are messy alot of the time, there’s mould on the benches, and there is a razor that has sat there for over a month now, the showers just need one really good deep clean every now and then. To some this isnt a big deal but its the only thing letting the gym down for me. Otherwise if you don’t use gym showers its a awesome gym with great staff

Fantastic experience: Could not rate this gym highly enough, the manager Jess is an absolute legend! He had all the time in the world to have a chat with me, and help me setup my Evolt app so I could use the Evolt body scanner he’s got in the gym. Always clean and plenty of quality machines and free weights. I travel Australia for my work and have been to gyms all over and honestly I have felt most comfortable here. thanks again Jess!

Fantastic experience: HUGE shoutout to Sam! She has completely revived the place. I have been attending this gym for a while, and It became so dead/cold after the old staff left. Sam is always smiling, always accomidating and is so genuine! She willingly will go out of her way to check customers are happy, in and out of gym! She is a huge asset to the franchise and should be treated as such! I have known her a short time, but I already feel like I have known her forever. Sam, you are amazing - you are a model staff member for the others! I am so glad she joined the team. 5 out of 5 stars to Sam!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. I called them to halt my membership as I am a full time mother and have a small baby. They keep on sending me charged fees again and again which gives unwanted mental pressure. They don't care why someone has halted the membership, they just want money and even called to halt it but they don't listen and keep on charging.

Negative experience: Not the best of experiences signing up at Anytime Fitness in Narre Warren/Fountain Gate. I signed up in February during their promotional period for friend referral including 4 weeks free each. Upon signing up I didn’t receive welcome email or my contract via email and I couldn’t finalise sign up for digital wallet card to access the gym, I was told it is a very busy day for sign ups and it might take a few hours to get the email. A few days later, still no email. I contacted them and their manager Karn said they had mis-spelled my email, a letter in my surname. I gave them my drivers license when signing up and even asked if they wanted me to double check it is all put in correctly on the screen (as I was surprised I didn’t receive an email there and then) but the lady signing me up said it’s all OK she got it all right. Mistakes happen, she mis-spelled my surname and I get that but there I was chasing my membership as I couldn’t even add the card to my digital wallet so I can access the facility. A month later, neither myself nor the person who referred me have received the 4 weeks free offer applied. We are both being charged every Friday. I followed up twice in the last two weeks via email about applying the offer and noone has responded to my emails. How can a business run like this not responding to Customers and not honouring their offers? Never thought I would get this level of customer service from a big name such as Anytime Fitness.

Negative experience: The messiest and dirties gym, weights left everywhere, no wipes, no toilet paper, the showers never seem to work, the fans are never on. Lack of organisation and professionalism. Have to go searching for weights and equipment. Price increases with the promise of an extension but of course that didn’t happen.

Fantastic experience: Kay at Narre Warren Anytime Fitness is super helpful with my induction. Everyone should sign up here if you’re wanting to join a supportive gym that focuses on great physical and emotional wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: Have had issues with the hot water not working in the showers a few times. I contacted JJ from the gym and he got onto it straight away. Excellent communication. Very happy with the gym & have been a member for about 18 months now.

Fantastic experience: Joined a number of months ago, friendly staff, Jay and others at the front are extremely passionate and helpful with questions and sessions, they definitely want to help, highly recommended!

Negative experience: This gym is woefully maintained. Toilets are frequently without toilet paper and in a unusable state. The showers are without hot water often and even after a cold shower, it's impossible to get dry and dressed due to inoperable extraction fans. It's unbearably humid and generally an unpleasant place to get ready for work. If you don't need the facilities, it's a fine enough place to train. Equipment it fine but the staff is changing so frequently, it's hard to imagine management cares about their staff. The "Member of the month" displays are also a dismal and embarrassing feature. The last time it was updated was July 2023. It's a small detail but again tells to the gym's overall lack of maintenance and staff enthusiasm for the place. Hard to stay to be honest. Actively seeking other gyms.

Negative experience: A member of almost 3 years, I've seen the downfall of a great club that was truly a "community gym" This place used to win awards for being a welcoming gym with friendly staff and good members. That was a long time ago. There has been a compelte changover of staff and the management style also drastically changed. Gone are the smiles and kind words of the previous manager and membership consultants when you walk in. You are now welcomed by two rude, unprofessional people too busy making snarky comments rather than doing their actual jobs. I also raise serious concerns about their mental well-being, as some of the behaviours and 'noises' they exhibit cannot be called acceptable by any professional standard.. The gym rarely gets cleaned now. You can clearly see that the place has gone downhill significantly. Due to all this, inevitably, there was also a change in the member base, starting with the exodus of regular members. I barely see people I used to train with a while ago. They have been replaced with highschoolers occupying equipment for hours and people who love leaving weights lying around. The atmosphere is terrible every day. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this gym to anyone anymore. There are better, cheaper options literally right next door. I will be switching soon, too.

Negative experience: I only use trademeal and after coming back to gym after 2 months paying for this expensive gym membership i found all their machine broken worst gym ever don’t join otherwise you will be disappointed

Negative experience: Even after cancelling my subscription I was being charged every week. When I requested that they refund my money they agreed. I was told I will get refund within 2 weeks. But I haven't received the refund after 2.5 months. I have to send multiple emails to them and still no action, everytime they say I will get it in 2 weeks time. Extremely unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I have been to a few Anytime Fitness gyms over the last 10 months & Narre Warren certainly is my favourite! The gym is always extremely clean, has wipes to clean equipment & everyone always uses them! The bathrooms are very clean (for a gym), all equipment is updated or repaired quickly & gym is organised and tidy always. The staff are super friendly and welcoming also, great atmosphere! Certainly have recommended to friends, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Positive experience: Lots of strength equipment, barbells. Deadlift platform. Bumper plates. Db area is small thou. No hack sq, only one Smith. Pretty good for barbell work.

Negative experience: Not enough equipment, especially benches, almost always overcrowded. I asked the staff member before I joined for a 6 month membership specifically asking if the payments would stop at the end of the contract, they did not and did not get refunded the weeks of money charged after.

Negative experience: They never have controlled on tailgating if someone already have a nembership they still have to pay a fine. Policy is really bad

Negative experience: very unprofessional. started talking $4 extra out of my account with talking my permission. the staff is very unprofessional and snaky, they will rush you through the paperwork and say words like " you can cancel any time you feel like" " "no pressure at all" . i signed the contract for 15.95 per week and then they started taking $18.95 out of my account, upon asking they said "oh we sent out a generic email to everyone. they are very clever with the way they have draft their contract. So please be aware as they can start stealing more money of your account.

After going back and forth this has been the best decision of my life! The gym has great facilities! Never over crowded and the equipment is top notch. Their pricing is very competitive and the flexibility and terms of their contracts were better than most gyms. Thank you

Fantastic experience: AF Narre warren has been my 2nd home for the last 7 months and everyone is now like family. I started with a single class a week, and have progressed to 5-6 classes a week, plus doing strength training multiple times a week. The trainers are so friendly, helpful and always up for a chat. The latest introduction of MyZone has really helped me push my fitness goals to the next level, it is great to actually see where your effort is and know where you can push harder.

Positive experience: The gym is nice overall. But the music is way too loud, I struggle to focus and if I’m not a fan of the music and wish to use headphones, the gym music overpowers the sound from my headphones even though I’m on max volume. And the playlists are very random(I know you can queue music but that doesn’t stop the current song from playing). It would be nice to drop the gym music volume down a little.

This is because the staff are so warm and encouraging and they offer so many classes 6 days a week - Shane and Paul are superstars. Reception is always smiling and members are kind!

Fantastic experience: Been going here for over a year now. The size of the gym is huge and always has such a lovely vibe with great people. It’s nice to see posters/equipment changed around every now and then, unlike other gyms where you see posters and pamphlets from 7 years ago. Transferred from Eden Rise and let me tell you - it’s a total opposite environment here (in a good way).

Negative experience: Due to the staff incompetent, they have failed to update my wife direct debit details and now it was sent to the debt collector. The staff also confirming with us that it has been updated but it didnt. Really disappointing that they didn't follow up with call, email or message. Replied to the response: We did come to the Anytime Fitness Narre Warren on the next day to update our direct debits and freeze our membership. However, your staff only freeze the membership and didn't update the direct debit.
