Fantastic experience: This place is the best. Friendly staff, organised weights and racks and updated gym equipment. It’s worth the difference over Derrimut by a mile just for the organisation alone. Great vibe and atmosphere and customers actually put their weights back after they are done. This review comes from long term experience. The causal visits are great.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending Doherty's Gym in Dandenong for over 10 years and I love it. It's convenient as it's close to my workplace. The addition of new equipment earlier this year has made training a better experience and the staff are always friendly and great to chat to.

Fantastic experience: Really well put together gym. Friendly & helpful staff. Have met some great people in this gym. Lovely culture. Has almost everyone you could need in a gym. Good collection of drinks and Merch to buy. Has a small grass area outside too. Only recommendation for this gym is to improve the grass area space and upkeep of the grass area and arranging the area for a bit more space in the gym, especially in the cardio room. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: $10 casual entry, It hasn’t gone up. Great gym! Great atmosphere if you are into grunting as you work out, lol, you don’t feel out-of-place. Nice treadmill set up, facing the road, has microwave and USB port set up. No stress if your phone or earphones are running low. They also have newspapers, so after a workout you can catch up on the news, old school style

Fantastic experience: Very Spacious, Staff are friendly, and while it has an American Vibe it also maintains its Australian Vibe if you look at all posters on the wall like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Josh Lenartowicz to name a few. Good place to go to Oh and ample parking too its great!!!

Negative experience: Very very rude staff i had a membership in doherty's but last night 15 jan 2021 one of the staff argued me for no reason and he was very rude, he was trying to teach me rules but i want to ask him that there is no rule that you cant argue with your client and rude, he should he polite not with me only actually for all

Only issue is that they're no longer 24/7 and their prices have risen. If they go back to pre covid they're back to being my number 1 gym.

Fantastic experience: I’m just NEW to Doherty’s Gym in DANDENONG and I love it ! I’m so thankful that is only $15 a week. Which is approximately $2 A DAY ! WOW ! AMAZING! And it’s OPEN 24 hours 7 days a week ! A lot of OTHER gyms out there are TOO EXPENSIVE ! And they are ONLY for the healthy and REJECT people who are not in TIP TOP SHAPE I’m so glad that this gym helps those who are suffering. THANK YOU ❣ I FEEL SO GOOD after I go to gym and being around OTHERS HELPS MOTIVATE ME. I used to just walk around the park by myself and after years of doing that I got sick of being alone. The people I live with are too lazy to exercise on a regular basis with me (thus the loneliness) THANK YOU DOHERTYS for NOT being selfish like other gyms ! I want to TELL EVERYONE about you ! I love the NO SIGN UP FEES, NO LOCK IN contracts! That’s important to me. The BEST THING I LOVE ABOUT Doherty’s is that you can JUST HAND $5 casual fee over the counter AND WALK STRAIGHT IN (NO QUESTIONS ASKED) THATS WHAT I LOVE THE BEST NO paper Work, No Questions ! Thank you! I feel I am on the path to recovery ! Thank you for assisting me in my healing! It provides a great environment for male and female to build their body for life time in the community. Additionally, this gym owned a large number of equipment, so a variety of customer can work out the same time.In addition, the price is reasonable with great customer services. Moreover, the gym presents an extensive amount of motivational pictures and tv show from popular bodybuilding guys. However, there isn’t any swimming pool, baths, and spa, it attracts many clients. Doherty provides unique services for people to demonstrate healthy lifestyle and it prevents obesity among people in community or in Australia.In conclusion, this paragraph has described the benefit of Doherty gym for sports community in Melbourne. It’s very important to know that gyms are playing a significant role in our community.

Negative experience: First of all staff is really friendly, and i loved the gym. Even though i was away, I was still paying for it but when i decided to cancel it i was being redirected to Debitsuccess(Worst customer service ever). Tried calling but but their line keeps dropping out and then i got busy and forgot(wasted half and hour). After few days when i finally reached them they informed me that you have to give us a month notice which i was not informed when signing up snd they charged me for one month extra. I would now never set up direct debit with them(Debitsuccess) as they are just SCAM. The only reason i gave 2 stars is because of the gym and staff but you really need to be careful before signing anything via Debitsuccess.
