Positive experience: Very convenient when charging your EV at the reasonably fast NRMA 75kW chargers in the car park. Coffee was good, the Burger good without being great. Definitely a good spot to stop and recharge when heading down to the far South Coast.

Fantastic experience: Amazing leisure centre in Batemans Bay. The water slides were closed weekdays, but still a great pool, kids shallow warm pool, coffee bar.

Positive experience: An unexpected building in a relatively small town like Batemans bay. Big pool complex, and fitness area and meeting rooms. All new. Very close to the centre of town. Most of the time parking is good.

Positive experience: Great staff and reasonable prices. Some Patrons used cafe tables to hold theirbags and shoes when not consuming food and off swimming so legitimate customers were left standing. There are signs asking themnot to do that but still they did. Centre managersneed to fix this.

Positive experience: Brought the kids here for a fun afternoon swimming and using the slides, unfortunately after 1 go on the slides, I had to request a refund as the connecting parts of the slides are raised and dig into your back all the way down, I thought it was just me being a big 41 year old fairy, but my roughy toughy kids complained too, thankfully the manager was very helpful and issued a refund for the slides only as the kids were more than happy using the rest of the facilities whilst I enjoyed a coffee in the cafe. 5* for the staff, 1* for the slides, 3* overall….as long as you’re not a big fairy then I’m sure you’ll enjoy the slides…..although I’ll be amazed if I’m the only one to feel this way. Pros: Helpful staff / clean / warm pool / kids were mostly happy / good coffee Cons: painful slides / shallow pool (1.2m) / only option in Batemans Bay

Fantastic experience: Everyone was a comedian. It was the Sydney comedy festival show. They were hilarious. They performed to a packed house. The venue was wonderful. We sat in the front row. We were sitting ducks and we were sitting in a row. We had fun and would do it all again.

Fantastic experience: Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and seating in the theatre. Waiting areas lined with artworks, a bar and an all-round great venue which draws in and supports live events locally.

Fantastic experience: What a beautiful building! Well set out, spacious and the Yuin Theatre is a delight. We saw a live band there and the acoustics are great. The stage is actually part of the floor and angled to the back of the stage area itself. Tiered seating on the floor has wide steps, good lighting and signage. The demographic for our particular concert was retired aged people. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks Bay Pavilions. We will be back.

Fantastic experience: Called in to have some lunch at the cafe and look around. Very nice inside. Modern and functional with upcoming shows advertised in the theatres, art displays, indoor pool facilities, gym and outside waterpark. If I wasn't so busy at work I think I'd be here instead.

Fantastic experience: The Hydrotherapy Pool, is pretty fabulous. I was unhappy with the previous councils choice of location which apparently was responsible for the massive cost of the build but now am reaping the benefits of the pool. Hopefully measures will be taken to ensure the long term viability of Bay Pavillion's. Big companies sponsorships ie car dealerships, supermarkets, banks, real estate agencies or even a fast restaurant. The Big Pav sponsored by .........

Negative experience: It’s a great place to swim but my daughter is not even aloud to dive off the block and got in trouble while doing it

Fantastic experience: Went to see a band the staff were very friendly and helpful even though the lines were long to get service at the bar.

Positive experience: Beautiful place. Nice and clean. The kids loved it. The only 2 downpoints: I think there was too much chlorine in the heated pool as our eyes were stinging. Also wished we were allowed to go together down the big slides. My daughter just made the height restriction limit to enter the slides, so it was her first time. She went on it once and got scared as it was dark and wanted me to go on with her. Therefore, she wouldn't go again alone as I wasn't allowed to go down with her as it was strictly one person at a time. It was a waste of a ticket for us. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and would definitely visit again.

Fantastic experience: I attended a meeting in the function room but did not use the pool area. Well appointed room with tables and chairs to accommodate up to 50 people. High tech projector and mic for live zoom interaction. Excellent onsite catering of lunch. Easy parking and good amenities. Recommended as a Meeting venue

Fantastic experience: A great spot in Batemans Bay for a relaxing swim or float in the heated pool. Note that Seniors cards aren't accepted

Negative experience: Best value for money in entry however food and hospitality service was horrible. They stood around talking while there is a line up of people wanting to order, food was expensive for what you get and they missed part of our order to the point where we could not find a staff member behind the counter to help us. On a positive note the pool, slide and outdoor area was great for the kids

Fantastic experience: We attended the Darren Coggan concert which was fantastic. It doesn't matter where you sit, you get a good view. The sound in the theatre is perfect and seats are comfy. Staff are friendly and helpful

Positive experience: Too busy in holiday times for me but the staff are very nice and friendly. Price is cheap had food from the cafe which wasn't very nice. The heated pool is like hoping in a nice warm bath. You are always welcomed with a lovely staff member greating you at the front desk. Will I go back ... definitely.

Fantastic experience: Modern and clean. Change rooms and showers are also clean. Separate pools for play and lap swimmers. Also a warm pool for recovery and relaxation that isn't for play. Their website shows the planned lap lane availability. The cafe served good food and coffee and can be accessed from both the wet and dry areas of the centre.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful venue with really helpful staff running it very well.Althoug It's well and truly time council fixed all the lockers. Not one working. Makes it difficult to swim and watch your belongings. In a venue as new and good as this it's hard to believe this neglect.

Fantastic experience: Perfect place for Kids indoor heated pool with slides and aquatic centre three hours unlimited slides and swimming for $16.50. Great family fun for the day specially when it’s nice and cold outside and the kids wanna swim

Fantastic experience: We were here for a swimming carnival. Parking was easy. Staff were welcoming. Facilities were great, modern and clean. It was winter and the slides and water parks were all fully operational. Kids needing to be 6 years old and over 120cm tall to ride the water slides. It’s an easy flat 5 minute walk into town for extra services if needed. Good family fun if you love the water I did notice that the disability parking was a decent distance away from the entrance, but was still all flat easy access

Positive experience: I wish they had Jet Sprays to massage your back like they have at Stromlo Pool. The heated pool is fantastic especially at this time of year. The Cafe serves a good breakfast and great coffee. .

Negative experience: Very fancy, large and expensive facility that is competing with local business. What a shame.

Positive experience: Nice new facility however seating in the centre is extremely tight. Watched a show and found seats very small, tight and not very comfortable

Negative experience: The Cafe is closing at 1600 now that is a disgraceful when it opened it was until 1900 and now 1600 lazy workers.

Positive experience: I have a disability and found that the disabled parking area is a long way from the entrance. Opposite the entrance is a parking area for able bodied people. The Cafe staff were a bit rude. Asked one lady do they have a coffee and cake deal and was told abruptly its only on certain times a year. When our coffee was delivered it had more in saucer than the cup.

Fantastic experience: I am recovering from a motorcycle accident and find the hydro pool to be excellent. The only downside is the change room which only has one seat to sit on while changing and as it is in the shower area it is wet and needs to be dried before use. The disabled change room also has one floor waste hole under the shower which is higher then the rest of the floor meaning there is a squeege to clear the floor. Due to my injurys it is very hard to use before changing.

Negative experience: We have been here several times and went on slides and had fun. Today they wouldn’t let our son on the slides as he was 1cm under the height limit. His height was ok every other time. It was very disappointing as we came with number of friends. Whilst I understand it is their policy, but consistency would be great as well. We wouldn’t have travelled with all people just to be told we can’t go in.

Fantastic experience: Bay pavilion, often lovingly referred to as "The Pav", is the new recreation establishment in the bay. It contains the new swimming pool for Batemans Bay, as well as children's play pool, heated pool and change rooms. It has a gym with activity rooms for yoga and such. It's stylish and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Quality facilities, great pool for young kids

Positive experience: Theatre is excellent. Brilliant show "Dreams Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show" Sound was excellent but a little thin on the bottom end. Lighting show was very poor. No visual sensation with artists left in the dark on many occaisions.

Positive experience: Great place, very affordable for rides and slides. Food is ridiculously over priced though

Positive experience: Family if 4 for 3 hours… we had a great day in a super hot day. Managed to get parking easily. The slides and pool were great, kids and parents had a blast. 2hours was probably enough time though. Clean ammenities for changing. Only downside - a lot of the lockers had broken mechanisms and could be used, we did manage to get one but that was after 7 failed attempts. Lots of broken doors, missing matches, controller not responding.

Fantastic experience: The gym has good quality (Life Fitness) equipment which is very new. Staff were friendly. Cleanest gym I’ve ever been in. $17 for a single entry is pretty reasonable.
