Positive experience: Not too bad at all. Good layout, definitely not a small gym, which is great because people don't get in your way. It's a good gym with everything that you need. Staff are friendly which makes visiting great.

Fantastic experience: Been here for a couple of months now and could rave about it enough. The staff are so inviting and friendly. The gym has a huge range of equipment/ facilities that's always clean and well looked after. My son is just over 1 and he's never been to daycare or a crèche before and the educators are so lovely he now loves coming for a play.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym! What awesome staff. Paige, Josh and Chaz in particular are spectacular humans and always super friendly, helpful and make you feel so welcome. And always go the extra mile, like fetching me a warm pre-workout from the back room:) Consistently good. The equipment is great, if any need repairs they are fixed super quickly. The brands are great too. Best hip thrust! Gym is huge and sauna is great. Great facilities, change houses and a supportive community (who trains hard). Even when busy very little waiting on machines and not cramped!

Fantastic experience: Will be staying put at this gym for as long as I live NOR. Great facilities and amenities has all the equipment and machines you need, alot of space to move around so you don't feel cramped and dont get all claustrophobic even when gym is at its peak hours. Staff has been great considering there are new faces quite regularly each person that has come on has been friendly and welcoming. Highly rate this gym.

Negative experience: Joined at the beginning of the year but was unable to fit in between work and family commitments. So cancelled membership at the end of contract term and thought that was that. Then a month after my final payment I started to be debited out of my account again. Have spoken and emailed and filled in refund forms but still keeps being debited out. Quickly losing my patience and will be taking further action.

Negative experience: Gym is OK, but be very careful and read the contract because they don't tell you about the extra stuff they add in. They charge an extra 20 dollas a year randomly for "gym maintenence" then when your contract runs out you still have to pay for an extra 30 days!! They never mention this. Also if you're going through financial struggles they will just keep adding interest on missed payments. Personally I'm not coming back
Negative experience: Hardest place to cancel membership. We moved house and world is no longer the closest gym. You get told one thing then another thing happens. Multiple payments taken out even after I cancelled my membership. Been on hold on and off for 40 mins and they still can’t figure out what’s going on.

Fantastic experience: Been to quite a few gyms over the years and I have never had a problem at World Gym Joondalup. Really friendly staff, great service and have no issues getting to any of the equipment I need. Great place to be.
Fantastic experience: I was a little reluctant on signing up because I don’t got I gym’s but I am so glad I did because the gym is amazing, all the équipement I need are there and I live the sauna !!! Been wanting that as a perks of it and I am so glad they have one . The staff are amazing and the crèche the kids love it. Highly recommend it

Negative experience: Facilities & equipment are fine. Just always seem to be some new membership bullsh*t. One time they tried to say i owed $400 in back payments (and accrued interest) completely out of the blue, even though i had paid my membership off in full. When my 12-month contract expired, they tried to charge me extra, saying they needed more than 30 days notice of cancellation... Funny that, they sign a 12-month contract with me and then pretend they don't know when it's coming to an end!

Negative experience: I regret having recommended a large group of friends, they sold us all something different, some with a contract and others without, what a great disappointment, now I am trying to cancel my membership and it is a real problem.
Negative experience: Don’t have health problems. Previous manager promised to drop down my pilates membership. Didn’t. Spoke to new manager said she’d do it, hasn’t. Ask to quit and it incurs a fee. Despite being told from the start it’s a no lock in contract. Have paid hundreds They don’t respond to emails but will call you at times you’ve told them you can’t respond at 24/7. Have used the gym probably less then three times a month despite paying the fees and there’s no accomodating. Have asked once again to be placed on suspension due to health issues and hospital appointments which was never done yet again
Negative experience: Do not go near this gym at all costs.They have been taking money out of my account even though I have been cancelled and given 30 days notice.I have tried calling and sent emails and they have cancelled my calls.They are extremely unprofessional.

Negative experience: Gym is standard if you don’t mind big crowds but if you get into any kind of trouble financially and haven’t used the gym in 4 months due to unforeseen circumstances they will still keep taking your money from your account, even if you explain to them from the start and tell them it’s out of your control. They still want to charge you for cancellation all because you signed an agreement which I wasn’t aware of because they only hire the best sales people to get you in there even when I originally went in for a trial and got sucked in to the membership without realising so hopefully you don’t get any large medical bills or financial troubles when coming here. You’d think a world renowned gym would just let you off for genuine situations but not World Gym.
Negative experience: I recently called to cancel my membership since I can't spend any longer in the country, the girl who attended my call simply said that for cancellation I should pay 400 $ in total because the fee ... when I sign up for this gym nobody told me this kind of thing and I was never seen the document in the mail "that according to I sign" never any sign of that. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE, the whole staff gives different things just to get people in there, when it starts, we were a large group and each person was offered DIFFERENT PRICES AND DIFFERENT THINGS IN THE GYM, paying 400 $? you when you really understood the fee was only 200 $ because other people have done it when they leave ,the staff never the correct information provided. It's really disappointing that to sell incorrect and misleading information.
Negative experience: Terrible music, gangster rap blasting with swearing and racist semi illiterate ranting, 90% of members use headphones to block out. I refuse to spend $100 on headphones to block noise pollution. Request cancellation, they refuse, has become a bank fraud legal case. Avoid at all costs people, plenty of good honest local gyms including arena Joondalup, Craigie leisure centre

As discussed with you over the phone a week ago - we were able to assist you in terminating your membership and offering you the necessary refund to which you were extensively happy with. Due to the changeover in management, there was a delay in processing the cancellation, to which we immediately rectified once it had passed the new manager. As for your experience with the music, we have been able to inspect the automatic settings and are in the process of auditing what music can be chosen by members to be played. You were so pleased with your final experience you willingly said you would remove your review as a thank you for our cooperation. We do wish you all the best going forward and hope that going forward you have the best possible experience at another gym!

Negative experience: Shameful work practices took advantage of my pregnant partner. She tried to cancel her membership as she's pregnant but was told they would move her on to a cheaper membership with no lock-in contract. Now, they are holding her to a 12-month contract unless she pays out. Ongoing talks with them over a 2-month period to no resolution. Repeatedly told different things, by different staff members. Be careful with this place.

As for Terms & Conditions, she is to pay a $200 fee and see out the notice period if you are still within your minimum term. Your partner's agreement was emailed to her upon rejoining for reference. We have tried to reach out to rectify this issue but couldn't reach you or your parnter. As the Manager, I am happy to resolve this and get to the bottom of the entire miscommunication between staff members. I would love to help out Hayely!
Negative experience: Have been a customer for years. Tried cancelling after buying a house and was convinced to stay in a no lock in contract at a lower price. When trying to cancel a few months later was told I was signed up to a 30month contract but that they would cancel with no fee as the man I spoke to told me it was no lock in. Been trying to speak to them for months after still being charged to now be told I have to pay a fee and the 30days starts now not back in April when I originally cancelled. Terrible communication and I will not be back.

Negative experience: It's 2024 and someone decided their newly opened gym would be better with a Jetts fit out circa 2004 with no bumper plates and cheap plastic coated plates. Would have been better spending a bit more for bumpers, even snap and plus have them standard for at least a decade now. Went by at 11am on a Monday to check it out and it was fully packed. Not sure how bad it would be at peak times. It used to a great gym once upon a time when it was Greenzone. Went there for a few years before it went downhill and this is sad to see. Skip

Negative experience: Would be great to restrict music sounds and even more so while trying to have a relaxing sauna for healing reasons. The music is loudly obnoxious. Also advertising a sauna which in located in the toilets where everyone can see in…. No staff is willing to help out unless you pay. Pay for upfront supplement's in contact but are never in stock and wont put aside when asked
