Negative experience: Aarons workout is eating a burger with the lot. No personal trainers have any idea of what they are doing. The equipment is rubbish and the business is a rip off. Hungry Jacks are gonna name a burger after Aaron.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with how badly this gym has deteriorated over the last 12 months. I joined 18 months ago and since the new management its gotten so bad that I have decided to cancel my membership. Over priced is an understatement. The men's locker rooms are always dirty. I don't recommend using the men's toilets. The Sauna is grimy. The equipment is old. Think twice before joining as there are much newer, cleaner and more affordable gyms in the area. I would instead recommend Snap Fitness Glen Waverley which is brand new, a lot cheaper and much more approachable staff.

Negative experience: I referred a friend of mine to GW FF and he just wanted to have a trail session to train with me before deciding whether to change his gym to FF. However, there’s very rude Asian girl Jessica being so unfriendly to my friend and asked him to show his ID to check his address. Jessica then told my friend he needs to go to his local FF club to try, because he’s not living in GW area. I then explained to her I had referred many other members before at my home club and I never had this experience before, if FF has club here, why people has to go to where he lives to train? Jessica said please take him to your local FF club. We have our policy here. I can’t believe how rude she is and how can FF get new members if everyone staff is like her. This is nothing but terrible!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoying my PT sessions with Coach Dee (Diarna) - and am already seeing results in my 2nd and 3rd weeks! She’s 1000% dedicated and determined for me to reach my goals, which is super-motivating. She’s also the only female in the gym that I’ve seen do a full set of non-assisted pull-ups - looking forward to getting stronger with this boss!

Negative experience: I’ve had it! I provided feed back to the Manager but there is still immaturity with your staff here. I want to feel welcomed, not hear “he’s gone, with your front desk”. I like the equipment here, and the sauna and steam room facilities, but man! I don’t know where this millennials think the world revolves around them. I might edit this, and call out names.. I’m so damn sick of it! DO YOUR JOB and STAY PROFESSIONAL!

Positive experience: It's been my gym for 9 years but feels like it's getting a little tired. Excellent staff. Great classes. Good equipment. So it scrapes in at 4 stars. BUT the gym equipment in part is aging. The cleaning isn't exactly perfect. It's very dusty. Toilets are always under repair and the showers could do with a re-tile. It's probably in need of a renovation. May not have the cash though.

Negative experience: Yesterday I visited the gym with my friend and encountered a concerning situation. An Asian staff Jessica took my car keys as collateral, which I understand is a policy for bringing a friend in. However, upon completing our workout and retrieving my keys, I found them left unattended on a table with no staff present. Yes, It was during staff hours. This lack of security is alarming, as anyone could have taken my keys that with a very obvious brand of car emblem on them, it would not taken a genius to have found my car to drive away. I hope the gym can address this issue promptly to ensure the safety of members’ belongings.
Negative experience: Gym it self is good. Reception staff is helpful except rude Asian lady. In last 5 months there were few issues with that lady who is extremely rude and not helpful at all. Customer service is very poor. Not really happy about the service.

Negative experience: Horrible absolutely horrible. The weights are constantly not organised people just drop them on the floor in the corner. No one ever removes their weights from the barbells after using them no matter what time you go so you waste so much time taking off other people's weights and setting up your own. Obviously management doesn't care or confront anyone about this. Staff are rude, I've never been greeted or said goodbye to anytime I've gone whereas at Fitness First Brighton the staff always do. The only positive I can say about the facility is that it has parking and there's a large area for sled push which not all gyms have. If management actually bothers looking at these reviews here are my suggestions. 1) reiterate to staff that they should be greeting and saying goodbye to patrons (it's not that hard) 2) Have one staff member go around and telling people to put back their weights if they see them just dump them and leave for the next exercise.

Negative experience: Join this gym if you want to be in background of people filming in the gym. People constantly smashing weights on the floor. Vibe has gone from years ago. Equipment is aged with something always out of order. New manager doesn’t seem to enforce rules like previous manager did. Club etiquette signs you can ignore these like most do even some staff. It’s never enforced.Time to cancel membership and go to another gym.
Positive experience: some new equipment arrived which is good, but the hygiene is not really attended to properly. Bathrooms and washing sinks are always dirty. They may need some renovations. It would be good if someone mops the gym floor and remove the dust from pieces of equipment as the dust can enter the respiratory system when we exercise. Overall, I enjoy my time in the gym.

Fantastic experience: Great well managed gym , helpful and professional staff, a variety of equipment and classes, and a lovely community feel that all makes for an enjoyable experience.
Negative experience: For the price you pay, the amenities aren’t really up to scratch. The equipment is ageing and hasn’t really been looked after and there isn’t a massive range of equipment available. The bathrooms are also quite unhygienic.
Positive experience: Love the group fitness classes. Friendly and inspiring group fitness instructors. Enjoy the people we meet and friends that we make through exercising together.

Positive experience: Can’t really fault this gym. It’s everything you’d expect. Clean facilities, lots of space and every piece of equipment you could want/need. Of course it does get busy at the standard times and it’s hard to get the weIghts machine you want but cardio is no problem even when it’s busy. I took one star away for unfriendly staff and poor overall vibe compared to other gyms I’ve been to, plus would absolutely love male and female saunas and/or steam rooms. I think it’s gross to share those types of spaces with blokes so don’t use them despite wanting to.
Negative experience: They charge top dollar for a ageing gym. Old machines, disgusting bathrooms and showers. Bathrooms is in need of a desperate renovation . I would not spend 25 a week for this gym. There is much better around the area for cheaper. Go figure!! Sarah Young posted 1 year ago about the bathroom and sauna, how disgusting and they ere. I was there yesterday and still no change the owner has replied but still no improvements have been made. The bathrooms are a health hazard. Let's see what there response will be to this. Absolutely disgusting.

Fantastic experience: FANTASTIC club, with an acquired physical disability the staff are always more than happy to help me out. Took some time off over the pandemic and on return there is heaps more equipment, everything is very clean and being in such a large venue with lots of cleaning wipes it’s reassuring in the current climate- the club looks great. During my time as a member I have seen lots of adjustments made making the use of the gym an ease to use with a physical disability. Luke the manager is even happy to deal with my insurance agency and is always more than happy to help clients as best he can. No place that size can be perfect but they do their best to come pretty close. I just want to thank the staff there they have made using a gym a breeze! Much appreciated

Fantastic experience: Fitness First (Glen Waverley). I was greeted by Iggy (Sales Manager) who was extremally friendly, courteous and professional. The gym is extremely clean, very big and very well equipped (pin/free weights, cardio, yoga) with excellent bathroom facilities. Heaps of car park space directly in front of gym. Very safe and secure. High recommendable gym for both male/female and for all levels of fitness. Great gym all round!
Negative experience: Not replying message from fitness first website, Not answering calls when it comes to membership cancellation, the staff at Glen Waverley fitness first utterly useless. Have tried calling the number of times only to be kept on a long hold. I have been a member since 2014, really disappointed with the service of fitness first.

I dont recommend anyone to join this gym under long contracts because once you are under contract and you want to contact someone to freeze or cancel the remaining membership, they won't pick up your call and they will send you tons of invoices to pay. Fantastic experience: At Fitness First Glen Waverley, not only are the staff always warm and welcoming any day of the week but personally, for me, the best part is the great selection and variance of group classes with a timetable that caters for all and with extremely professional, very well educated and passionate instructors, like Chrissy, who is my favourite. She knows how to have fun aswell as giving me the best training and instructing I've had, and with these fun group classes you will definitely get the most out of your membership. If group classes aren't your thing, I have also used the equipment on the gym floor and found it really well set out and organised with another timetable of smaller group class sessions within which I have done before too. Luke has lead his team to lift the standard of the entire gym to a new level and Iggy has set in motion his own highly professional side to it, as well as being one of the highest energy instructors, ever! I love it!

Includes fitness classes, yoga sessions, boxing sessions etc. Having a very friendly staff and awesome instructors who help with your trainings. Good place for a workout Apart from that it has a considerably large car park where you can park your vehicle while you workout.
