Positive experience: I have been a member of GoodLife Nundah since their takeover from Go Health Club. Overall I love this gym. Positive experience: It is disappointing to see so many using their phones while sitting on a piece of equipment and not doing their workout and moving on. There are others that just want to workout satisfactorily and do their rounds.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've used in Brisbane so far. Despite moving close to valley I still make the drive here! Good amount of people and they don't over flow it like most gyms.

Fantastic experience: I see significant change going to the gym, and the results really explain it! All it is that discipline is key and you have to spend 1 hour at least training Push, Pull, Legs! I went from 94kg and one year later and trained, and I dropped to 65kg with consistent training!

Negative experience: Whatever you do, don't go to this gym! It is not a safe place as lockers get emptied by teenage girls, and multiple cars have been stolen from the premises by those teenage girls. It is a very dodgy place!

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately had to cancel my Membership as I was unable to return to Brisbane from The United States. I'm still looking to return to Brisbane soon and sign up with Goodlife, Nundah in order to continue my Boxing Training for hopefully a few Sanctioned Fights while in Brisbane. Great Gym and still my favorite for the variety of equipment and ease of assembling Circuits for my Training. I remember there being a Sled on Astro-Turf at this location which I hope that people try to make accessible to their routines along with the huge Room full of Squat-Racks and Leg Equipment Downstairs past the Front-Desk. The Cycling Room is a peaceful place to be for Anyone with SPD Cleats to take 15 Minutes in between Sets in their Routine, especially at Night. The location and layout I found at Night to be helpful to focus for my Training at that time focused largely around High-Volume Cardio Efficiency. Surrounding Restaurants and a neighboring Woolworths *if it's still there?* also help tremendously for consistency in one's Routine, if Diet and timing are of critical importance to a Member. Negative experience: This gym is a scam they make it impossible to cancel membeeship tryed calling the club to cancel and no one would pick up dont go here if you want your money to be drained.

Negative experience: Lots of equipment and reasonably modern as this used to be a Go Health clubs Generally affected by the same lack of maintenance and cleaning as all GoodLifes as they do cost cutting. I got dripped on twice in my workout - once by AC fluid and secondly by a sewer pipe repaired with socks

Hi T K, thanks for your review! We're glad you appreciate the variety and modernity of our equipment. Just to clarify, there's no pipe repaired with a sock, haha. One of the pipes is a copper chilled water pipe, which can slightly affect the color of the water due to the copper. The other pipe you mentioned is a sewage pipe that has leaked, causing some rust stains around it. We've repaired these issues several times, but they tend to reoccur. Both issues are on our radar and are being managed by our center management team. Thanks again for your feedback!

Negative experience: In general a pretty nice gym with good equipment. Cancelling my membership on the other hand wasn‘t a pleasant experience. After requesting to note my cancellation for a certain date, and that not being possible I went in more than 30 days prior to when I wanted to cancel. Upon explaining that I‘m moving and I don‘t know when/if I‘ll return THEY suggested freezing my membership, and just let the gym know a week prior to my move. Went in today to freeze it, and turns out for my case freezing the membership wasn‘t an option, and although they offered to back date my cancellation a week, still having to pay 50$ for nothing and it being their fault is just ridiculous. Not gonna get a new membership here. Train your staff

Fantastic experience: I've visited many GoodLife Health Clubs around Brisbane city, but this one is my favourite. Class times are convenient for all schedules, this club offers 24/7 access, and lots of parking. The reformer Pilates studio, with its fairy lights, is the cutest. Dunya’s coffee club being downstairs for a great pre/post workout coffee! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Kate, the reformer Pilates instructor, who pushes everyone and ensures perfect form! This club offers a variety of classes like yoga, strength training, and spin, and it's the cheapest for reformer pilates in the city. With a sauna, steam room, showers, lots of free weights/machines and cardio equipment, it has everything you need for the price you pay! The facility is always clean, making it one of the best gyms I've ever been to. Highly recommend GoodLife (especially Nundah )

Negative experience: One of the day light scamming gym I have ever been. The fee is only 17.99aud but you will be paying more than that most of the weeks saying we missed out the payment, and letting us paying penalty. Good life is like a jail now, I can't leave and I can't go there as well, need to pay them almost 300 to quit as per there contract, this contract is not applicable when its there fault but it is when we do it wrong. I am saying again, I am not coming to your gym and will not pay anything.

Negative experience: WORST GYN EXPERIENCE EVER! This gym is an absolute joke. This gym has no natural light in their weights room. It’s like walking into a nightclub at 5:30am, music blasting heavy metal. I couldn’t find any weights as they simply don’t have enough of them and they are scattered all over the gym. No organisation with their equipment.. what a horrible experience! Count me out! I’m joining another gym .

Negative experience: Hey look, I went into the sauna and there was a feral smell, and low and behold I look on the wooden seat and there is cum on the seat... a mans excretion on the seat, festering in the humidity of the sauna. Honestly, I am extremely disappointed as a staff member walked out of the sauna just before I entered. Therefore, it was either his cum, or he chose to not inform me of the fact there was another mans cum on the seat. This is disgusting from the staff and I would recommend any other gym.

Negative experience: Nundah Goodlife is an overall decent gym. It offers most of the equipment you would need, although there might be limited availability for certain machines. The gym's location is convenient, and it provides a car park where you can park for up to 3 hours. Furthermore, I highly recommend using a locker when visiting Nundah Goodlife, as there have been incidents of theft. I made the mistake of not securing my locker, and my shoes and a couple of electronic devices were stolen. Theft occurrences are common in Nundah due to tailgating and a lack of proper security measures. Despite bringing the issue to the administration's attention, they did not take any preventive actions, allowing theft incidents to persist. Many lockers are still secured with the same locks for days. It is important to stay safe and be cautious while enjoying your workout.

Negative experience: I was a member of this gym when it was originally Go Health. I was a founding member in 2012. I am a registered physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. So, I value exercise as being instrumental to psychological, physical and emotional well being. When this gym was under the umbrella of Go Health, it was great. Jordan allowed me to access the hot yoga studio privately, as the class times were sparse and conflicted with my work hours. The weight room is respectable, but I do most of my resistance training against body weight, so I don't need all the equipment. However, I understand the benefits of it for other members. The gym is relatively spacious, but it's best to utilize it either midday or after 7pm to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately, after the owner sold his business to Good life, the business deteriorated. In particular, the reception staff became very abrasive and hostile. I was having a coffee one day at The Power Station and went to use the restroom. Two of the reception staff,one who was actually male chased me into the bathroom screaming 'you're not allowed to go in there because you're not a member.' That's an appalling fallacy because I was a founding member of Go Health, I was on the platinum tier. I asked the cafe owner, Danny if he could rectify this degradation. He refused. He said there was nothing he could do. So, I vowed to never attend the gym or the cafe, since thus public degradation and mortification. I do a home based exercise program, which has better physiological, psychological and emotional benefits instead. Danny's cafes have also shut down across Brisbane.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with an excellent atmosphere and equipment. If you don't want to be "locked in" to a contract, there are casual options for month to month in case you want to leave. Maybe Goodlife didn't offer these in the past going by reviews complaining about termination fees, but they do now I've found the staff great to deal with, and membership fees are listed on the website. Use a lock on your locker to avoid theft. I dont understand why people leave their belongings on lockers witbout a lock. I'm sure they lock their car doors and home while they're at the gym, so I urge everyone to do the same with lockers at gyms, swimming pools, etc to avoid disappointment. Recommend avoiding the 5PM peak if you don't like crowds.

Positive experience: Always smells so the ventilation might not be working the best. Some machines are partly broken, and there is not a good range of grips for the cable machines. Downstairs definitely more used than upstairs and sadly is the worst part. Still great for a work out and there is a great burger place for protein after

Negative experience: I have been with this gym more than 5 years now. It’s used to be a good gym but not anymore!! The big issue is that they wrongly keep charging your membership fee and when you try to fix it, the staff are helpless and the girl manager I was talking to was just so rude too!! No compassion, no empathy just rude and it goes into the circle without any resolution. Lately, I feel like this gym has been a big ripoff. Stay away from this place before you suck into the scam. Wont recommend to anyone!!

Negative experience: I joined this gym for cardio and to attend mat Pilates classes. Now that they have reformer Pilates, there is no mat options! I am moving away from the area and asked to cancel the membership. I was quoted an exorbitant fee to do so (after months in membership). This is despite the service offering I joined the club for being eliminated. I found someone to take over most of my remaining membership - netting the club over $100 more than if I paid the cancellation fee! This is after having to contact the club 3-4 times each interaction just to have to speak to someone. Moving away from an area where Goodlife even operates (260 km!) is no grounds for cancellation either! I could go on about the terrible equipment, lack of cleaning, and constantly broken machines as well!

Negative experience: Part of my plan includes a quarterly coaching fee which I have never used (I tried to book a session a couple of times via email and never heard back from anyone). Plus, every time you try to call them you are put on hold forever...Today I was put on hold for over 45 minutes just to be able to request a membership freeze for my holidays...absolutely terrible customer service.

Positive experience: I won't lie. This gym is great, with plenty of space to do your own thing and comes with a variety of different activities and classes to take part in if you so choose, there's something for everyone. The trainers are all friendly (my trainer is the best ever though) the staff are all nice. The only drawbacks I have and the reason this review isn't 5 stars is because of the cleanliness of the place. Don't misunderstand me, the place is neat and tidy for a gym, but when myself and my trainer have to wipe down all of the barbells before we use them and we end up getting several layers of gunk off... there's obviously a problem with members not respecting the equipment or the hygiene rules of the gym. Last thing and this is more of a general tip, if you don't like crowds, keep track of the activity level in Google, it's pretty accurate and from there you can determine what times best suit you.

Fantastic experience: I've been thoroughly impressed with Goodlife and I can't quite understand why it gets a bad rap sometimes. For the price, it offers exceptional value and has truly exceeded my expectations. The range of amenities they provide is impressive and caters to all fitness levels and goals. One standout feature is the ample and convenient parking they offer – it's hassle-free and adds to the overall positive experience. The fact that the gym is spread across two levels with a wide array of machines is a huge bonus. It ensures there's always something available, even during peak hours. I've found Goodlife Nundah to be a top-notch fitness facility that provides everything I need for my workouts. Negative experience: Save yourself the hassle and join another gym, management and communication is horrible. The first man I spoke to refused to let me talk to a manager, was super patronising and basically hung up on me. Still waiting for my $55 refund they overcharged me a month later that they keep promising is on the way. (Excluding Ellie from this review who was actually super helpful and didn’t talk down to me )

Negative experience: JAGM - Just Another Goodlife Museum A lot of the equipment is quite ancient, and some of the weight machines are actually quite dangerous in that they still use the old pin underneath the seats to keep the seat in place, however even with the pin in the seats still slip down.

Negative experience: I went into the gym for what I was told would be a 20 or 30 minute induction process but ended up waiting for 1 HOUR just so the guy could give me two slips of paper and send me home. I get that it's busy. But it shouldn't take that amount of time just to give someone papers they need to sign and then want them to come back again the next day to give them back. Aside from this staff were pleasant and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Nundah Goodlife is the best 24/7 gym I had joined. I was introduced to my PT Roger, who is an exercise physio , and I had never become as confident to do weights, etc until now. This is by far the longest time I had stayed in a gym too, as my back pain concerns are addressed efficiently by my PT and Ive also been doing progress with weight management. Front desk staff are nice and helpful. I have approached them for a few occasions re women’s locker room as well as gym equipments and they addressed it straightaway. Grateful client here!

Negative experience: Never ever trust them if they give you any discount while u are making any contract with them or just get written letter from them for each and every word they tell you while you are signing up, firstly they will use there skills and try to convince you to do contract and give you some sort of option that they will give u discount if you do contract. I have told them while signing up that m work most of the days so I don’t prefer contract but they told me that they will wave off my cancellation fee and said he will put it in the system that’s why I trusted him and my mistake is that I didn’t ask for written letter where everything is mentioned. Told them I cannot attend gym as I am working 7 days but now manager said it’s not written anywhere. Never ever trust them and always get everything in written. I have probably referred most of my friends to this gym and will never recommend anyone again and ask my friends to not continue with them further. There is no option for no stars, I will not give them any star. Would recommend everyone think twice before signing with them.

Negative experience: Do not trust this gym with your card details! I have confronted them 4 times now about them over charging me. They apologise and say they will refund me the money back but they never do. I wish I could give zero stars. Everyone I know who has joined this gym has deeply regretted it.

Negative experience: Tried to cancel on 3 occasions. Got told different dates contact ends. Very grey in explaining initial sign up agreement. I now Have a full broken leg (trying to now cancel with medical / only 2 months left on contract??) and will not accept HOSPITAL medical certificate unless it specifically states I am unable to exercise because of full broken leg. Common sense is not so common. Maybe I could take my crutches and broken leg in and see how much of a liability that is ??‍♀️

Positive experience: I joined Goodlife Nundah after relocating from Melbourne. The facility is exceptional with well kept equipment and a variety of areas to train within. Staff are always courteous and acknowledge you when you are training. Its easy to park around the club and the on-site coffee shop is a welcome reward for an after session sit down

Negative experience: Refer a friend and get two weeks free is a lie!!!!!! If you want the two weeks free you literally have to run after them. I have been emailing them coz i was charged for the two weeks after I referred a friend. The answer i got is “has you friend signed up” like she literally signed up and has already attended the classes. The customer service should be looking into their system to see if my friend has been signed up why is she asking me that?? I emailed them confirming that my friend has signed up and after that no response…………. My forthnight charge was secretly increased without any notification even though my contract clearly states the actual price. This was the second chance i gave to good life but never again, they have failed yet again to keep the customers trust.

Fantastic experience: Nundah Goodlife is clean and everyone that trains there while I was training cleaned their equipment after they finished and returned it back where it should be 10/10. Showers are very clean, steam room is soo much hotter than many other places and clean as well. I love that staff keep all sanitizing wipes full. Overall way better than chermside and carseldine

Negative experience: Moved to a different location that wasnt convenient to get to a goodlife so changed my plan to be Nundah only, they continued taking the original amount from my bank for months after with mutliple calls and emails to rectify. Made sure it was set up to not renew my membership and they continued to take money (stealing) from my account for at least a month after the end date of my contract (at least a month because it is still ongoing as of last weekly payment). TLDR; would not recommend, typical gym BS of taking money when they aren’t meant to

Negative experience: Abysmal management and oversubscribed. Gym was closed for a month apparently due to sewage pipe bursting and flooding gym. Discovered when going in to work out and finding the main weights room was inexplicably closed off. There was zero communication with members except (apparently) for posts on a private facebook group which not all gym members are part of. The Gym is also badly oversubscribed and I'd rarely get through what I wanted to do, my fitness went way backwards due to joining this gym and being stuck on contract. It was still busy even well into the evenings and has a large number of timewasting members who don't know what they're doing who lock up equipment for long periods, eg doing 40kg deadlifts with a belt with 10 minute rests between sets or doing pushups in a squat rack. Avoid.

Negative experience: I would give less than 1 star if I could. I started my PT not even 2 weeks ago and the gym doesn’t stop calling me for days about a membership. I thought about cancelling my snapfitness membership to become a goodlife member, but after the ridiculous amount of calls and messages I refuse to do so, and if I ever do it is not going to be at Nundah, thanks to Maddison.

Negative experience: The worst gym possible in every way! Gear & machines are old and tatty, thing don’t work & haven’t worked for months. The owner/manager Joel gives zero F’s and takes no responsibility. Oh and 75% of the gym equipment has now just vanished & yet we are all still paying full price. Hopefully this isn’t vindictive of Goodlife gyms in general but this is the only one near me.

Negative experience: Honestly I’ve been avoiding in going to the gym. For the last 12 months the quality of the gym has dropped drastically. Equipments not well looked after, most of the time everything seems dirty, the smell is absolutely disgusting in the common areas and also the toilet, ar con not turned on or very hot, bins always full, no wiping products and so on so on. A whole complete different history told when signing my membership a few years back. Me and my partner are looking forward to find a better place to workout. And also, the copy / paste answer for the bad reviews are just ridiculous. Just show how interested you guys are on the costumers.

Fantastic experience: I've started training here these past few months after training at several different Goodlife branches and this has been my most positive experience yet. Great facilities and plenty of space are always good, but I attribute this primarily to the great staff interactions I've had since my time here. Erin is an absolute delight. Her friendly and vibrant personality behind the desk consistently promises a warm welcome and a fond farewell. My few interactions with personal trainer Naomi has been nothing short of encouraging and inspirational. Despite not being a client of hers, she has freely offered words of encouragement, training advice and her own equipment whilst on the floor. Both are absolute assets to the club and contribute strongly to cultivating a sense of community and an overall enjoyable gym experience. Also, Joel seems pretty tip top too.
