Positive experience: The gym itself its very nice, has been upgraded. Problem is more often than not you will find machines that are not working, or not even taken care of for many days, its not only me saying this but the other 10 friends/workmates that workout there (some grease would help). They have the best playlist out of all the Revos i have been!

Positive experience: Since they remodelled the gym the space looks better and it is appreciated that there are new machines and space for pilates, however the cleaning leaves much to be desired, personally I only use the pilates space and the dust and dirt that you can see is incredible, it would be good if they vacuumed the floor and were more aware of the conditions in which the place is, the women's bathrooms are also quite dirty. It would be good if the gym improved these aspects.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of Revo and at Claremont gym since it opened back in 2018… the last six years at my local has been consistent because of the PT trainers in particular James. The recent reno has made it the flagship gym again! All new equipment and more of it… adjusting to the new was very easy… loving the Studio, Massage Chairs, green track upstairs and ground floor strength equipment when my trainer wants to really give me a work out and more treadmills… Finn is a legend and takes all in his stride… great music and I look forward to a DJ set on the front desk for more theme vibes… (the way Finn vibes the music and how the new front desk looks) five stars great work Team Holder at HQ ❤️ #claremontRevoRevival

Negative experience: For such a big gym to only have 6 squat racks/barbell training stations is completely unacceptable. If you want to bench press with safety pins, then only two of those squat racks are suitable for it. So they're being used for bench pressing as well. People die when training without safety pins. Before the new "renovation" there were 8 barbell training areas available, with 4 of them suitable for bench pressing with safety pins. Now there are only 6 barbell training areas available, which are always full even during quiet hours. They tout their "We're adding 2 more squat racks!" While ignoring the fact that they removed 4 barbell training stations. They lied with false marketing and making a mockery of anybody with half a brain. They didn't go from 4 squat racks to 6, as they claimed, they went from 8 power racks/squat racks/barbell training areas down to 6. Whoever is in charge of revo fitness management is completely incompetent. Which is incredibly common in the fitness industry, so I'm not at all shocked.

Negative experience: This gym makes it impossible to cancel. I called for months trying to talk to someone and left messages and no one ever answered or returned my call. You have to physically go in to cancel which is ridicolus if you work full time. Then when I go in to cancel they tell me I have to give 30 days notice and pay another month. This is appalling business behaviour. I also had to fill out a long form to be able to cancel. Would NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I’m only giving one star because I have to have a star to leave a review.

Fantastic experience: New Claremont is amazing! A much needed Reno! The added Matrix machinery opens so many new options for my workouts! Personal favorite is the new supine chest press, as well as the added squat racks means less wait time for my workouts!! Only point of criticism would be the removal of the rig, there’s still one upstairs, but I love my calisthenics so that option isn’t downstairs anymore. Would 100% recommend coming and checking out Claremont.

Negative experience: I have PTSD. It’s very embarrassing. It shows up weirdly. Some things are terrifying for no apparent reason. It wreaks havoc on my life. To get help when I need it, I must try to disclose horrific trauma. The symptoms then get worse. My ability to interact, speak, or write deteriorates. I haven’t used Revo since about Feb. I wanted to cancel, but I have been struggling with symptoms too intense if I try. I don’t exactly know why. Why would cancelling a gym membership cause me panic? Trauma is not in the thinking parts of our brain. If the individual who terrorised me for so long long was a body builder - gyms could cause me to stop breathing. It could happen in a delayed-onset fashion. There is so many parameters that are so unlikely they appear fake. If you understand trauma - you know this is not the case. I experienced a recent window-of-tolerance moment. Emailed Revo requesting to cancel my membership. Refused. I emailed again explaining I am really struggling. Mention PTSD. Send photos. My window-of-tolerance disappear. Mind go. Try. I can’t. I need help. Please.

Negative experience: Went 12:30pm on a Thursday but they had a whole four squat racks for the entire gym (none on the new upper level) bottom level is very dated especially the change rooms (the weight plate holding the door open?) but the lack of squat racks makes me suggest training elsewhere, especially if you are on a schedule and can’t afford to wait around for 20+ mins. I ended up leaving before I could start my session.

Negative experience: Edit: the gym member counter isn't helpful at all in this instance. You need to curb this behaviour. The gym is good but it's near impossible to get a work out in with the groups of school kids everywhere. Groups of 4-6 ish on their phones.

Negative experience: I agree with those fed up with the school kids... and the response from revo is the same when anyone complains. Its automated..just read other negative reviews...No one is interested in this problem. What happens if your convenient time is 3 pm...

Negative experience: First week at gym - both male soap dispensers in toilets have run out/not working (has been like this for 2 days now so unlikely to be fixed anytime soon); most of the gym equipment must either be soiled with stool or urine by this stage as no-one can wash their hands... - both soap dispensors in showers have run out (one has been broken off completely..) This is a budget gym that is poorly managed (cannot even maintain simple things like hand soap to look after the health of gym goers) You will need to bring you own hand soap if you want to use the bathroom. UPDATE: 4 days now - still no soap in male bathrooms or soap in showers despite response from revo below - ?how is this acceptable in a gym Also - there is no 'inconsiderate person' ruining the experience for everyone; this is poor management/maintenance by revo

Negative experience: school kids are back.. they use machines by groups of 5 or 10 kids so good luck if u need it, plus they play around, annoying each other and annoying people who is close to them, they use the gym definitely as a hang out place rather than for fitness purposes..

Negative experience: Would love to give this gym a good review, has great gear, but the crowds of school kids that mob and hog the place from 3pm onwards each week day really kill the place. Most of the time you cannot use the equipment as they stand in groups and hog machines, also reserve machines with phones sitting on them , in breach of rules that are never enforced by staff. Does not help that there is high demand for certain gear like the one leg raise machine, please get another one installed on ground level. Seems to be a lot of space used up on exercise bikes hardly used. Huge amount of school bags just dumped on floor near customer storage cabinets means you nearly trip and injury yourself trying to access and is clearly a safety liability issue not addressed. Join another gym if you want better access, management need to sort this place.

Negative experience: In addition to the fact that there are few machines for the number of people who attend, several of them have been out of service for more than a week for maintenance. How much longer will it take to repair them?

Negative experience: Claremont used to be ok however with the no of members now, it's a joke. It's impossible to do a workout due to the lack of equipment vs no of ppl there at any one time. It doesn't matter what time of day, I've been there at 4.40am thru to 10pm at night and it's the same - every machine taken, the grass area full and the mat space upstairs all taken/full/ppl waiting. My family and I are taking our business elsewhere- we don't mind paying a bit more if it means being able to have a proper workout!

Fantastic experience: Revo Claremont has been my fitness home for 2 years now and it's exceptional! The staff's expertise and the quality of the equipment is unmatched and I've trained at many gyms in my time. What truly stands out is the sense of community and support from both Staff and the other Members. Age doesn't matter here, it's a fitness centre for 'every body'! Absolutely highly recommended!

Negative experience: Worst gym ever, gym membership was not reinstated on time ( required 2 times, they say they will do it, but they never do) Their computer system constantly fail, 2 times that happened on me. I personally does not enjoy to write any review, we all make mistakes. However, this sort of mistake happened way too many times. Anyway, If you looking for a gym does not take you seriously, and causing your valuable time due to their lack of professionalism, welcome to Revo.

Negative experience: Revo Claremont is a great gym for school kids however fails to understand the facilities that this dynamic wants, also as a 15 year old I was also disappointed after I was given a “warning” on the 5th of may 2023 at around 1:30pm after I had signed in properly with a worker at around 11:45 and all was good however after about 2 hours of working out I was approached by the presumably next worker on shift she then proceeded, because of her severe lack of awareness, to give me a warning because I had “snuck in” I find this extremely inappropriate and a common occurrence of disrespect at Revo Claremont as I have attended Revo shenton and Scarborough and never had problems with staff. I would also like to add many staff members dislike school students, due to there apparent ‘disruptions’ they have caused even though the extent of these so called disruptions are maybe 5 kids working out together which is not a rule breaking activity in Revo

Fantastic experience: Revo Fitness Claremont, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service. The sign up process only took a couple of minutes. Definitely recommend Revo as a first time gym if you are getting into health and fitness journey.

Positive experience: I recently called and was greeted by steven (or stephen not sure haha) he was very nice and helpful with sorting out payment and offered to go above and beyond to help out. he was also very understanding which was great!

Negative experience: Recently signed up and can’t say I’m impressed with the customer service :( the person who signed me up made zero attempt to have a chat to me. Didn’t ask me if needed to be showed around the facility? I came in the next day and was looking around for where I could keep my stuff, and searching for bathrooms? I was wanting to enquire about what’s PT programs they offer but after the customer service I decided to go back to using my online fitness program.

Negative experience: Gyms okay, has most the gear you’d want. Staff are great. However between 2-7pm it is completely unusable due to the gangs of sweaty I’ll mannered school boys who descend on it. I would recommend going elsewhere

Positive experience: There's no denying this revo is one of the more beat up and old revos, small space with limited squat racks this facility is unfortunately outdated when looking at places like mount Hawthorn which recently opened. Given this is Revo stadium I expected better, needs to be upgraded in the very near future. The staff like at any Revo are lovely and the people there are always nice so no complaints in that regard, Abundant parking across the road always able to find a spot. One key thing you wont go without however is cardio, the quantity and array of machines located near to the front of the gym are very handy when the busier hours start. All in all, good staff, good parking, old weights and plates and poor space usage, would recommend for Revo users in the local area who are unable to travel but if you can I would say go to a newer facility.

Negative experience: Before i say this i want to preface that i really like Revo Claremont, usually amazing customer service from employees and state of the art equipment. Unfortunately at approximately 5:00pm on 1.4.23 i received unsatisfactory customer service from an employee who was working at the front desk. As a 14-year-old, I had to sign in to access the gym. I approached the employee and provided her with my name. However, she appeared unhappy and sighed at the fact that I was there. She asked if I had a sweat towel, to which I replied that I did and proceeded to walk away. Before I could even take a step away, she called me back and requested to see my towel. Upon opening my bag, I realised that I had forgotten my towel, and I explained this to her. I also informed her that I had $3 for a sweat towel, (i had willingly purchased a $3 sweat towel previously). In response, she was both angry and rude, informing me that they had run out of $3 towels and that I would have to pay $15 for a towel. It was not my fault that they had run out of towels, and it seemed like a coincidence that they had run out of the cheaper ones. Not a great experience, has definitely negatively impacted my feelings towards the staffing at Revo Claremont.

Positive experience: Great price, good quality equipment. However, in my experience, staff can seem quite apathetic and provide poor quality service. (The staff member was scrolling on his phone as I made a query with him.)

Negative experience: I would strongly suggest not joining this gym. After I emailed back in March to let them know to please cancel my membership they did not do this. I’ve been getting charged all the way through. We asking to be refunded they would not come to the party. What a joke as I have been in there since February. When asked to speck to head office or accounts they wouldn’t give out that information. There are much better gyms out there with much better customer support.
