The gym is always clean and well-maintained, with a great range of equipment to suit all fitness goals. It’s never too crowded, and the vibe is friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Gabby for being super helpful and approachable! She’s always ready to assist and makes the gym feel even more inviting. If you’re looking for a convenient, well-equipped gym with great staff, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I am a member of the Baulkham hills branch but have been training in the north rocks branch as it is more convenient to me coming home from work. They transferred my membership to the north rocks branch without my consent and increased my membership fees! I thought Anytime Fitness allowed you to train in ANY Anytime Fitness branch! But they then transfer your membership AND increase your fees if you train at another branch!?! And their response is the typical: we understand your concern but you signed a contract many years ago which have fine print that no one reads and therefore it's your fault and we will automatically move your membership and increase your fees without telling you before hand! Ludicrous! So this is how Anytime Fitness teats customers who have been with them for many years.

Tara and Gabbi are both fantastic – they bring so much energy and positivity to the space. Whether you’re just starting out or a regular, they make you feel welcome and supported. Tara is always there with helpful tips and encouragement, and Gabbi's infectious enthusiasm keeps you motivated through every workout. Negative experience: Charging ridiculous amounts ($27.95 p/w) for a memebership when they have low quality facilities. Dirty bathrooms, unkept shared areas, and limited equipment/machines.

Negative experience: The air conditioning either doesnt exist or is broken, always uncomfortably hot.

Negative experience: Price is almost double other anytime gyms in the area and 10 dollar a week to pause for my surgery is ridiculous. Cancelling tomorrow as I have to go in person and havent heard back from them saying the manager would give me a call. (I emailed and called last month 1st Sept and then again today) edit: I also have to pay an extra month to cancel, I asked to have access to the gym if I have to pay an extra month, they had said they would give me access but when i tried to go in the pass didnt work within the month I paid for. Do not go to this gym

Positive experience: Great gym. Often quite busy but plenty of space and equipment. Equipment and facilities are in generally good condition. It's located next to the Aldi so parking usually isn't an issue, and is convenient to grab groceries after a workout session. The classes are also a great addition to the membership.

Positive experience: It's acceptable if you get lucky and avoid the packs of people who treat it like a playground. Shame some of the people who come late at night can be disgusting. I see the same group of guys who never wipe down equipment, never put weights away and walk around without shirts, some people there even spit. No staff to show photos and report this to due to it being after hours.

Positive experience: Pros - Great gym, staff are very friendly and always happy to help, always have good deals for new and existing members, music is awesome, well ventilated, great selection of weight and cardio machines. Cons - not enough weight plates (find myself wasting too much time trying to gather plates from one side of the gym to the other), alot of the time I enter the gym the main bin is overflowing leaving paper all over the floor (cleaners fault?) All and all, great gym would recommend!

Negative experience: We were with Anytime since 2011, and joined North Rocks immediately on its launch in 2015. Have always loved the gym and seen how it has improved and transformed over the years. We eventually quit last year due to their reasoning for a price hike, citing "recent" renovations (which were well over a year ago). I was going to leave it at that, but because they insist on continually spamming my inbox with marketing material even after telling them to stop, this 1 star review is to reflect my dissatisfaction with how far the gym has fallen. When AF North Rocks first opened, almost everyone was courteous, wiped their station down and returned equipment and weights back. Since the covid era, there was a real surge in an 'everyone for themselves' mentality; people will hog several machines at a time, poke away at their smartphones more than actually exercising, or gather in huge groups over sections of the gym and chat and obnoxiously laugh and swear for hours on end, as if it was their private watering hole. There would be a daily cleaner going over the gym, but you would always see dust in key spots like the fans and the edges of machines, and the barbells will be caked in a layer of dirt, grime and oil. Not helped by the fact that most gym users no longer cleaned equipment after use, but this was made worse with their removal of wet wipes. Apparently someone flushed wet wipes down the toilets, which knocked out the plumbing system for a good month or two a while back. I felt the original atmosphere of the gym was great; everyone was there to exercise and stay fit, well-mannered and kept things tidy. Years since then, it feels like it has deteriorated into a narcissistic, loud, messy and unwelcoming facility, and the staff only care for short term customers.

Negative experience: Be careful if you get transferred to this club as your home club. Their membership rates are higher than other anytime fitness clubs even though the facilities are very comparable.

Positive experience: The gym at Northrocks has new equipment. The new fees is a bit too pricey, especially if you don't use the gym often.
Positive experience: Needs more 20kg plates.. 1 bloke with thick legs doing 1/4 reps on the leg press and all the plates are used. Other than that, Pretty good gym

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at anytime north rocks for 3 years now, I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else the staff are so lovely and all the equipment is so good!! I highly recommend this gym to anyone. When I signed up my partner today Hannah was very professional and energetic and made sure we were happy with everything! She really did go above beyond, very impressed!

Fantastic experience: The equipment and ambiance are one thing about a good gym, but to have staff and managers who you can genuinely talk to and who care for your overall experience are standout qualities that AF North Rocks possess. Easily my favourite gym i’ve trained at. Love it here❤️

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness North Rocks is the best gym in town. It has recently been all done up. All new equipment. Everything you need and more. So much variety. I personally love the Monkey Bars. The space is aesthetically pleasing. Always fresh and clean. Super friendly staff who always have a smile on their faces. Great classes in the morning with Cal and Jordan. Worth getting up at 6:30 for. Fun monthly challenges to keep us all on our toes and to help motivate us in our pursuit of fitness. Been going for a few years now and have never been fitter. Seriously, check it out (and tell them Mike sent you )

Fantastic experience: I signed up about a month ago and loving it! Really friendly staff! The new machines feel great to use! Layout of the area is easy to understand has plenty of room for activity. Great atmosphere to get the music pumping and rep it out!

Fantastic experience: Great staff, good vibe and well-decked out with enough equipment. They are also doing a major renovation at the moment so it should be even better.
Negative experience: Have been to other Fitness First gyms and this one is definitely not the one that I'd ever visit again. The layout is not great, machines are not properly spaced and directions and lighting is not appreciable either

Positive experience: would give it five stars, but someone by the name of possibly KJ doesn't clean the benches afte his massive sweat sesh. Ngl i like to clean it myself (with my tongue), but to some people its not good.
Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, quality equipment, definetly worth checking out. Very clean and well maintained, have yet to find any faulty equipment. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
