Negative experience: I want to say that I give it 2 stars because the gym is good for the price. However, the urinals and the toilets are absolutely disgusting. They probably don’t clean it in months.

Negative experience: I went today at 5pm. They close most of the sports equipment and clean them. How bad is this? People are off work and can't do sports. Do your cleaning in the morning or at night.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed Planet Fitness but going to Canterbury area. So it will be good if there is a Planer Fitness in that area or close to Bankstown. More on the Inner of Sydney will be great. I hope to see Planet Fitness soon toward the Canterbury area.

Positive experience: Local fitness club, so cheap to join and decent equipment. I wish there were more leg press machines. Lots of cardio equipment, small weights section. For 5 bux how can u go wrong, it’s basically free

Positive experience: The washroom soap dispenser are always empty. Please have then stocked up There are always 2 people on serving desks, please have one to check soap and washroom/ toilet condition before, during busy times.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Planet Fitness Auburn! This gym truly stands out, not just for its fantastic facilities but also for the incredible staff. Abdullah, the manager, is a real gem! He takes such great care of the place, ensuring everything is clean and well-maintained. What really impresses me is how Abdullah connects with the members. He remembers everyone's names and treats us all with respect, making the gym feel like a welcoming community. I especially appreciate how he celebrates my little wins along the way; it’s motivating to have someone who genuinely supports your journey. It’s lovely to see a manager who cares so deeply about the people he serves. If you're looking for a friendly and supportive environment to work out in, I highly recommend Planet Fitness Auburn!

Negative experience: Crowded, noisy. I go because it's cheap. I know I am not getting the full use of what I pay.

Positive experience: It's a Planet Fitness, so barely any free weights (dumbbells go up to 40kg, if i remember correctly). Some machines do tend to be out of order frequently, but that does not bother me, as there is a large amount of different variations of exercise machines. The water is also very clean, the bathrooms are okay. The staff are friendly. Overall a good gym, considering the relatively low membership fees.

Negative experience: Interestingly they don't have any soap in their change room. Upon request they advised against it. Their water filter change is also not regular and often late. Apart from that happy with the actual machines as they are operable most of the time.

Positive experience: Honestly very depends when you wanna going to gym, if you are that person wanna go gyn after work with others you will be stuck for weight! All machinery and bench are busy already which is disappointing. But if you that person going to gym off the peak this is good for you. Personally when can go off the peak will go otherwise just too busy for exercise! Potentially I am looking for another gym can use in most situations

Negative experience: I've found Planet Fitness to be a decent gym considering the value for money, but the staff's unfriendliness is a notable downside. They often don't acknowledge greetings or farewells and generally seem disinterested, which can create a negative atmosphere. However, there is one staff member who consistently greets patrons warmly, which is appreciated. I opted for the black card membership, but I've encountered issues with accessing facilities close to closing time, which was disappointing. Additionally, I've noticed inconsistent treatment among patrons, with preferential treatment seemingly given to individuals from the staff's hometown. Furthermore, I've experienced instances where I've been directed to damaged massage chairs while others enjoy longer sessions on better ones, which feels unfair. Some patrons come to the gym directly from work in muddy or unclean clothes, which can be off-putting, especially when they use equipment that's not suitable for such attire. Additionally, during my visits in the evening, I've noticed staff members socializing and laughing together while the dressing areas and toilets remain unclean and littered with toilet paper on the ground. This lack of cleanliness detracts from the overall experience and hygiene standards. Overall, I enjoy the gym, but the inconsistent treatment and lack of friendliness from staff make me consider exploring other options where I can feel more positively welcomed and where there's equal treatment for everyone!!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym with dozens of machines, cardio and muscle equipment and free weights. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of lockers to put away your put-aways. The lockers are protected by 4-digit combination locks which would need many hours to penetrate. I keep finding pieces of paper with cyphers written on them in open lockers and despite this I'm still aiming to visit regularly. I've found 15 cyphers so far and it's honestly put me on edge, sometimes I can't sleep, one time I figured part of the cypher but I spent a whole day on it. This is an exciting place to work out, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for 2 years. The staff has always been friendly, no complaints. This gym use to shut at 10pm and open at 5 which was inconvenient but they are 24/7 now. And this place is cheap, best price ever. The only real complaint I have is they don't have straight bars with interchangeable plates. Only fixed at max 30kg I believe, but this is mainly because the gym is meant for beginners. But everything else is fantastic. 5 stars

Positive experience: Gym with cost effective membership price. Can get busy during peak hours but the app is very friendly where you can see the crowd meter. Equipment gets broken quite often and takes time to repair. Bathrooms are clean. Lockers are clean. Overall its a good gym space.

Negative experience: I have been a member of your gym for the past five months, initially drawn by the appealing offer of $5 per week with no lock-in contract and a simple 7-day notice period. However, I feel compelled to bring to your attention several issues that have affected my experience. While the cost is attractive, I have noticed a decline in the quality of the facilities. Specifically: 1. Soap dispensers in the restrooms are constantly out of operation. 2. The fans and air conditioning often need to be requested to be turned on, which is crucial for maintaining a comfortable and safe environment during workouts. 3. Toilet paper frequently runs out in some stalls, with no spare rolls available. 4. Although I appreciate that the water fountain has been repaired to accommodate multiple users, these other issues persist. I am very fond of the staff, who are always courteous and helpful. However, I have been reluctant to raise these concerns directly, as I wish to avoid any potential confrontation. I hope you can address these matters to improve the overall experience for all members. Thank you for your understanding and attention to these issues.

Negative experience: Its cheap yes. However smells, they have no flexibility. I personally found the olace suffocating as she asked me to put my bag in locker. Was hard to get a towel and various things constantly. Finally before my last rep instead of fetching towel i just grabbed the whole bag, she showed up again repeatedly asking for me to move my bag from next to machine. I see why people get tired of following hygiene in this gym (was hard to do). The middle aged bearded guy is nice and i think hes the franchiser but she also didn't fear saying shes the "manager". Where is the original PF no shaming..?

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Gym with high tech equipments. Additionally you get access to planet fitness app for free where you can plan your workouts check upcoming activities and track your status. Totally worth it!!

Fantastic experience: Best service people out of any gym ive been too. Very advanced in that you use the app to go in instead of a dongle. Much more affordable than any other gym. They mainly have machines and dont have as much free weights, which is fine since i like machines anyways. If you do the 10 bucks a week membership you can bring a friend in as well when theres staff, a lot of value. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Hi PF team, I'm going to have to post this 1-star review because of you guys have failed to renew/replace the non-existent labels on the dumbbell rack. It has been this way since I joined and has been a mess and an inefficient use of time trying to find the right ones every time. I heard you guys were in the process of fixing them but that was a while ago and now there is no excuse. This just promoted poor gym etiquette and creates more work for your staff (if they are required to organize them). Not asked ng for much, just simple labels that we can all benefit from, not just selfishly thinking about myself. We can do better than this. Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I've ever been to!! The staff are fantastic, everyone is so kind and encouraging. The gym is spotless. The fellow members are courteous and I constantly observe people wiping the equipment. Don't get me started on the massage chairs and hydrobeds!!! INCREDIBLE For someone like me who is heavier I don't feel judged here I don't feel like I can't give it a real go. I'm loving the environment. I also bring my disabled Teen as my plus one for my black card membership . She is physically disabled and Christian was so kind to her. I can't wait to see what we achieve here. Fantastic experience: This gym has been one of the best gyms I’ve been too! Christian the trainer is amazing and honestly one of the best trainers I’ve met! He wants you to succeed in your goals and pushes you to goals you wouldn’t think you could reach!! He definitely needs more recognition! He has the kindest soul and will help you with all equipment at the gym! He motivates you in classes and makes sure you have the correct posture to not hurt yourself. I recommend him to anyone! Negative experience: Would highly advice avoid this gym. Found out I was charged twice for a few months. But planet fitness doesn't do refund. Which also why they don't take debit/credit card but only your bank account. So you can't dispute them, or they don't have to do anything.

Fantastic experience: My trip to the gym was freaking awesome, all thanks to this amazing lady, Maddy, at the front desk! From the get-go, she greeted me with the biggest smile and made me feel like a VIP. Maddy was like a fitness guru or something. She knew everything about the gym, the classes, and the workout equipment. It was like having my own personal tour guide! She even remembered my name the whole time. As she walked me around, she showed off her mad skills and knowledge. She knew exactly which workouts would suit my goals and gave me tips on how to maximize my results. I swear, she's a fitness wizard! You could tell she's crazy passionate about helping people crush their fitness goals. Her energy was contagious, and I left feeling super pumped to start my fitness journey. And you bet I'm telling all my friends and family about this gym.

The price is not taxing on the pocket, considering that even price of air we breathe is going up these days, that’s amazing from PF. Recommended to all. Plenty of undercover parking.

Negative experience: Staff not welcoming, she was on the phone the whole time and didn’t even greet or smile when I walked in. Was my first time going there as I don’t live in Sydney and just wanted a one time workout there but basically got kicked out in the first 5min because I was wearing slides. At least let me workout one time for maybe 1hr or have signs up saying “no slides”. Because how is it fair that u are willing to kick someone out when u have no signs up about ur policy. Ridiculous the lady saying that I was only allowed to use the cardio machines. They want people to workout but yet didn’t even let me have one workout for maybe 1hr. Don’t go to Auburn planet fitness. Other planet fitness gyms are so much nicer and better staff.

Negative experience: Unfriendly staff

Fantastic experience: I was not regular in gym. But recently i found this planet fitness and the trainer in this gym name chris, due to his friendly behavior and enthusiastic attaitude, i joined gym classes and since then i have lost weights (which was one of my goals) in last 3 months. This gym has lots of intruments, spa center and very spacious with big parking lot, now I feel good whenever I am in the gym. I found new manager Abdullah very helpful and accessible, he is super supportive. And you will find other staffs Ray, Allie, Hadija very helpful. In short I enjoy being in the gym now.

Everything under same payment no hiding cost, no contact except the bronze card 12 months. Hey guys get in here now save extra why pay $20 plus when you can go with from $5 weekly get everything you ever wanted at Planet Fitness Parramatta. Positive experience: Cleanliness, water station, lockers, massage room for members. Update: Sad to say the locker's is not safe. Have an experience last week that some random guy tried to open a row of lockers maybe to find his locker, but ended up scrambling the passcode and lock a row of lockers including my locker. Keys are inside unfortunately its late night no staff means no one can open those lockers until morning ended up leaving my cars behind and sleeping on friends house.

Negative experience: So dirty I went the day before they closed and came back today at 7am as soon as they opened back up they did not even clean before they closed or before opening back up there is ring marks on the equipment from people water bottles skids in the toilet bowls different colours and textures of hair in the red light therapy on the floor all they did was mop the toilets that's it I got athlete's foot from the red light therapy because they do not clean it after people use it very disappointed I don't want to even think about what other germs are lurking around people can get serious diseases that are forever from using equipment that other people have sweated on its disgusting

Fantastic experience: I was NOT a gym person. I visited this gym couple of times with a friend then became a member of planet fitness. If not every day every second day im there working out. I must also add very friendly staff. Im glad i joined planet fitness. Thanx guys for your hard work.

Positive experience: The gym's location is a nightmare for me as public transportation in the city leaves quite a bit to be desired. So, you're probably wondering why I'd join it. Well, if you take the time to read this review and you're in a similar situation (on a temporary visitor visa), you'll find out that despite the many gym options after taking everything in consideration, Planet Fitness wins as the best option hands down. Most of the gyms I've visited required you to commit for 'x' number of months. Or they will charge you an absurd amount for a fob key (or both). When you find one that doesn't charge you an immoral amount for the fob and ask you to commit to 'x' months, they want you to be a ridiculous 'joining fee'...... Yes, I know that Planet Fitness also normally charges a fee (which I find is BS too), but at least they pretend to make an effort to keep it reasonable. And, we can look the other way about the joining fee when we do a simple math about the weekly cost compared to other gyms. This location has some friendly staff, lots of room and machines. The floor, the bathroom and the spa are usually clean, but I've been to the gym enough times now to know that this is not always the case. But, as said on another review about a different business, the onus is also on the people that use the place. Put your garbage away, people (and your weights too!)! Other than the above and the location (which isn't the gym's fault) there isn't really anything to complain about. At least not yet... ;) Great value for the money!

Positive experience: I would say that this gym is decently deserving of a 4 star rating. The workers mind their business and are nice when you might need to ask a question. The size of the gym is marvellous especially if you don’t want to feel crammed or are prone to feeling anxious in a smaller space. Overall it is a decent gym and for the price that it comes at as well I would definitely recommend in comparison to a lot of other gyms.

Negative experience: Enrolled online, no one called, messaged or emailed me to say how can I get access to the gym, even they didn’t bother posting me my card so in my shift work I can organise to go gym but such a awful service, money harvesting only but no value for customers. Shame there is no plan for whoever sign up online to get access to the gym, very careless.
