Negative experience: We had lunch here today and it was very disappointing, the chicken & beetroot salad was a bowl full of lettuce with a few small pieces of tasteless chicken & the salmon salad was dry. Our meals were served an hour apart from each other even though we ordered them together. Not a great place to dine which is a shame as the view is pretty spectacular

Negative experience: RESTAURANT/CAFE (only) Cmon, guys, this is the Brighton Yacht Club- act like it. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just fresher, better. ..the food is dull…great position and meet up spot…sadly our table of 12 weren’t impressed…brunch- , rock hard bread with breakfast, and it’s not the only time! …really should be better than it is.

Fantastic experience: A go-to place for us to meet family and friends for brekkie! Great location, food and service and they cater for dietary requirements (lactose free milk and gluten free bread is great thank you!)

Positive experience: We walked into a welcoming and spacious environment where staff were hospitable able to respond happily to all our requests. All members of our party commented on the quality and reasonable prices of our meals. We hope to have our future reunions there again.

Negative experience: Really disappointing lunch downstairs. Friendly staff but waited over an hour for food. fish was inedible (sent back) Korean chicken burger awful. Pizzas average.

Negative experience: Disappointed. Service was poor from the moment we walked in and unfortunately got worse throughout our sitting; food wasn't any better, bland, cold and undercooked. All in all, not a place I will be returning to.

Fantastic experience: On Friday 1st March I organised our Gadding About Melbourne group of ladies to lunch at Brighton Yacht Club. It was a way for the group to catch up with each other for the year. Brighton Yacht Club offers a great atmosphere as well as great food and very good service. Everyone enjoyed their meals and it was easy to chat.

Positive experience: So we were so looking forward to seeing my friend the fabulous Greg Gould preform and travel a far way to get there. Firstly the venue needs a better system on how to allocate tables that have been booked It was totally overbooked and over crowded, I consistently had to get up to let people get past me with drinks, going to loo or just chatting with others , it felt like being at the RSL , only two toilets for ladies, no soap , the hand dryer ancient , should have been replaced ages ago Acoustics , climate control also not suitable for so many people and for that kind of powerful performance , staff to busy chatting with each other than serving I love watching Greg and Sarah perform but we will never go back to this venue

Fantastic experience: We went for a casual Sunday lunch to celebrate my teenage son's birthday. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent, even hard to please enjoyed the food. Adults had cocktails and commented on their excellent quality. My other son's birthday is coming up and he already wants to go there again.

Fantastic experience: We held an event for 20 women at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club yesterday. It was seriously THE BEST service we have ever experienced ( and we hold lots of events). Firstly their IT person Reilly was brilliant , he had a full understanding of their equipment and all the adaptors required to iron out the normal AV glitches ( This NEVER happens). We complied a list of the many and varied coffee orders, we were a bit late getting it in and assumed it would result in a bit of a wait but no , they arrived in the room in record time. The whole day ran smoothly ,and on schedule, the food was great, the staff were very courteous and couldnt do enough to help them Many thanks to the staff at the club you made my job so much easier

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary here on Saturday night...Every moment from the time we entered the restaurant was wonderful. From all the extremely friendly and efficient staff to the most delicious, fresh, well presented food . And of course the wonderful view of the bay. All up made a very special night out and we look forward to returning for our 35th Wedding Anniversary in 2024...

Negative experience: The food here today was, unfortunately, less than average. Both had a fish meal. The snapper was tough, almost like a chicken, and some of the rockling fillets didn't taste great. Chips were good though. Nice setting on the outdoor area.

Fantastic experience: Another great lunch at RBYC. The staff are always friendly and super helpful. The food is great and the menu has something for everyone. I can't comment on what it's like to sit inside as we always go on a nice day and sit on the deck. This allows for the kids coming and going to the beach and for the grown ups to have a nice time with the spectacular view. We'll be back again soon.

Positive experience: the bar staff didn't seem to have our table ready - with a booking that was so official it found it way to my calendar However, a balcony table was available so all good, although it would have been nice if it had been pre prepared with table settings etc Once seated though, food and drinks were great and the day was lovely on the balcony

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed a great lunch at the club on Monday, catching up with a few friends from our trip to Cape York last September. Our reserved table was located right next to the window so our guests could best enjoy the view. It is really nice to be addressed by name by the staff. Our orders were delivered promptly and the food portions were generous. Everyone enjoyed their dining experience.

Fantastic experience: Had a breakfast catch up with a mate recently. The service and food were really good. The Big breakfast was bigger and better than expected.

Negative experience: It was my the first (and the last) time there. We've been waiting for our dishes to arrive for 40 minutes only to find out it was messed up and it wasn't meant for us. And, after another 20 minutes (approximately) wait, we finally got our food. The food was by the way pretty average and also overpriced. So, never again.

Negative experience: I am a long-term customer, coming to RBYC for many years with friends and family. Don’t know what happened, but today I’ve had the worst dining experience. I booked the restaurant to welcome the arrival of our family from overseas. Instead, I received complete lack of service, half of the items on the menu were not actually available. I was explained that the kitchen were not prepared to cater for all these people and had only limited amount of supplies. But they didn’t hesitate to accept my booking?! Why haven’t I been warned that it was going to be this limited? The orders were mixed up, brought to our table, then taken away as apparently they were meant for another table. They took forever sorting themselves out and bringing the food out. So embarrassing and oh so very disappointing! Had I known this was going to be such a poor experience, I would never bring my family there. So sad…
