Many guests appreciate the friendly staff and engaging swimming lessons taught by dedicated instructors, with particular praise for teachers like Paula and Amelia, who excel in fostering confidence in children.
However, the facility has received feedback regarding areas for improvement. Users have expressed concerns about:
- Overcrowding during peak times, particularly in the pools and changing areas.
- The need for better maintenance and cleanliness, as some patrons have noted issues with shower and locker facilities.
- Customer service experiences that can vary, with reports of unhelpful staff or inadequate responses to inquiries.
- Issues with scheduling and abrupt cancellations of swim classes.
Despite these challenges, AquaPulse remains a popular destination for families and fitness enthusiasts alike, offering a range of aquatic activities and community support programs.
AquaPulse: Opinions
Negative experience: Staff members have no manners, no hi or bye on the phone. The gym never picks up a call. 0 customer service. Management needs to hire more professional people or train their staff. It is horrible. We won’t go there anymore and will cancel our membership. Moreover a child died few years ago drowning in their pool. So careless people. They is no limit in terms of letting people in. They let everyone in during summer and it gets super packed up. Paying that much to dip your body in instead of swimming is just bad. So greedy people.
Positive experience: fun place to be at however it would be a lot better if the rides were always accessible. also if the pools were maintained more efficiently and outside busy hours
Negative experience: hello today i went to aqua pulse with my friend and i was just trying to enjoy my time doing some small jumps and the young life guard with medium length hair and glasses came up to me and my friend with a very bad attitude and was swearing at us to stop or else i will kick u out with no hesitation and didnt even try to say it nicely and as i come quite often i was great until this guy came along and messed up my day trying to enjoy it but experienced the opposite and not very happy as he even proceeded to spy on us while not doing anything !may u please do somthing about this and have a chat with him nonsense and attitude thank you i will consider if i want to come here again after this .
Fantastic experience: Paula is an amazing swim teacher! She is patient, encouraging, and knows how to make lessons fun while helping my son build confidence in the water. The staff is also very helpful and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
Negative experience: I tried to go for a swim this morning but only managed 4 laps before having to make way for the swim squad. At the same time an aqua aerobics class was starting and there was only one lane available for swimming laps, which was too busy to actually swim in. I gave up and went for a shower - which was cold! What a complete waste of my time and money. Do you really need to have aqua aerobics, swim squad AND kids swimming lessons at the same time? Some people are adults who just want to swim.
Fantastic experience: Love it there. Awsome CSO. Always feel good afterwards.
Negative experience: Paid 80 bucks a month and could never get into the classes I wanted to do. So after a month of only being able to secure one class in three weeks - I cancelled my membership
Positive experience: Amazing gym and swimming pool facility.
Negative experience: Too crowded!! Wouldn't go back
Negative experience: I regret switching to this aquatic centre for swimming lessons. The lessons cost the same as other smaller swim centres but it’s overcrowded here, filthy, and no space to swim. I prefer swimming lessons at aqua centres to have access to more than just the lesson times, but this place is so crowded and cramped and has short opening hours that it’s not worth paying the same as other places and getting a lower quality service. And forget about accessing the changing rooms. Overall, this place is just gross
Positive experience: Great facility, drove all the way there for the slide. I don’t understand why they won’t use all the available inflatables when the lines were SO long!!!
Positive experience: great pricing however the pool is often overcrowded and offers little space for teens to swim freely.
Positive experience: Nice spot for a hot summer day
Negative experience: First and last time going to Aquapulse!!!!! Two 10-13 year old boys were playing on the KIDS slide area whispering to eachother that my son (whom they saw was scared of the water buckets dropping on him) was coming down the slide, directed the water pistol into his eyes as he was crying. I said “are you right, he lives with autism and this is his first time at this pools. How would you like it if I directed a water gun into your eyes and bullied you?” They denied it. I asked where their parents were, they said “not here we are meant to be at swim training.” I went to a lifeguard who was useless as she was the one in charge of the slide area and she didn’t even see it happen as she was to busy chatting with another lifeguard about god knows what. She gets her “manager” to help me. Alana (centre manager) said that she would help find them and speak to them, looked for 2 mins and then said to stop yelling. I wasn’t yelling I was being assertive and I was hurt my son had a traumatic experience. Instead of trying to help us, she called me rude. I asked if she had children she said “what does that matter” I said “I can tell you don’t because you’re not empathic, nor do you even seem to have a heart or knowledge on the impact this has now had on my son. I went from mad to furious at the way Alana spoke to me. She called me rude, and said I was yelling when she tried to help, when I wasn’t yelling and she didn’t do anything but a few steps for under 2 mins to find these bullies we never found. Then when I asked to speak to someone higher up they said Alana is usually really hands on! Asif what? This was my fault? But they were happy to give me an email? Terrible experience, waste of time & money and will never ever ever return to aquapulse Werribee EVER AGAIN. Left a bad taste in both mine and my son’s mouth. Thanks for nothing but a traumatic end to such a good day. I’ll stick to the beach and other pools.
Fantastic experience: Very good facilities for kids and adults
Fantastic experience: Thank you to Aqua Pulse for your generous donation towards the Wyndham Dragons Netball Club Autumn season raffle. The winner of your donated voucher has enjoyed their day at your facility immensely. A great business supporting local clubs and its community.
Fantastic experience: Amazing swimming pools and can be used for any age also nice slides and sauna
Negative experience: My personal business was discussed on a phone call for 6 whole minutes by a worker named leonie. All about my gym membership and when I’ve been in the gym on what days. To someone who has no business knowing anything about my membership . If you cherish personal privacy then do not go here Sad that I only attended here because my original gym EAGLE was closed for renovations and I’ve since cancelled my membership with them so I don’t ever have to attend aqua pulse again
Fantastic experience: Amazing place for kids swimming lesson .Amelia Burrette is an amazing teacher ,who deserves five star ❤️. She is so passionate about her job and helps little swimmers ❤️ Ashlyns Mom
Negative experience: I’ve only been going a month and it seemed to be going well until I was charged extra for a late fee they never warned me about. I talked to a representative and they said it was in “fairness and consistency” to charge me for a communication mistake they made… honestly just switch to planet fitness, save yourself the confusion.
Negative experience: Very disappointed in service which included limited availability to choose for swim lessons, extremely poor shower room availability as people don’t leave shower in time and most of time shower are not working properly poor hygiene all around . Life guards are not playing their role to look after kids in pool . Always too crowded. During lesson outside people should have limited access.
Negative experience: Forget going on a weekend. The vast majority of all 3 main pools are used for swimming classes. The remaining strips of water were packed with people and the noise is full on. The fact they charge full price for a non functional pool is ridiculous. Additionally, one of the main slides was closed due to lack of staff.
Positive experience: Great place for young ones and adults to spend some time swimming. My daughter goes there for swimming classes. Steam and sauna for adults is also great. The only reason for not giving 5 ⭐ is because I think it needs regular cleaning. The floors are filthy most of the times and the bathrooms are really dirty. Management need to pay attention to the areas with most traffic. The teachers are good and swimming lessons that kids are getting are ok as well.
Positive experience: Awesome for swimming, bathrooms, toilets, showers could be cleaned more frequently
Negative experience: Change rooms are disgusting and often have no soap. Lifeguards have no interest in anything but conversations amongst themselves. Rec swim area invites ferals that disrupt people trying to swim laps. Kids area is often closed.
Negative experience: Great facility unfortunately their prioritise swim schools and squad training over general public in the pools. The slides are great but need more tubes going so line moves quicker.
Fantastic experience: It's good place for kids
Negative experience: the water is very dirty and charge too much worst pool ever changing area is so unhygienic my eyes so burning may be they not using the right chemical for the pool .
Negative experience: Terrible staff Even worse excuses I’m a support worker Client was told his not aloud in the warm water pool even though we come every week that his health permits Definitely loosing all the work our company sends here and any potential people looking to swim with disability’s be careful here Absolutely disgusting to treat a disabled boy like that saying they want proof his disabled
Negative experience: Awful experience at Aqua Pulse. As we travelled 1.5 hours to attend, I called 4 times in the morning as pre arranged the day prior when I spoke with somebody, at 11.23am - no answer. We get there only to be told slide is out of order and may be up and running in 30 mins to 2 hours. We waited the 2 hours and no slide. No notification on social media etc. During our time swimming, there was a large group of young kids, being rowdy yelling at girls and bullying larger kids who were getting in the water. I had watched them do this for a few minutes before intervening, they didn't have parents there. There were more incidents following this with the same group of kids with other parents and lifeguards involved. Lifeguards were informed atleast twice about these kids and nothing seem to have been said or done.. will never be returning. Ever.
Negative experience: Pool and gym are in good condition, however the toilets are very dirty most of the time and showers sometimes splash cold water. Steam room is often not working. The lockers are also non functional and do not shut properly most of the year.
Positive experience: Busy hours can be full packed, very popular place, water maintained well most days. One thing is a bit annoying, our special need kid came in with different color band already, staffs still take turn came ask why the kid in the warm pool, no parents want keep mention their kids are special need 5-6 times in front the kid face in the middle of swim everytime... I hope staffs get trained better to pay attention of the band before ask.
Fantastic experience: Only water splash entertainment in west. Also have gym and they do swimming lesson. Good place for family to go there in summer heat
Fantastic experience: Such a stunning place for all exercises and a beautiful community spirit
Negative experience: Management is very bad in this aquacenter .they couldn’t fix the bathroom for nearly 3-4 months, it’s been shutdown for months. Lot of people have to wait in line to use the bathroom to get changed. Every week after finishing the swimming lessons , it’s very hard with kids to make them shower. One of the worst management. It’s out of order all the time.
Fantastic experience: Good place for kids and grown ups Lots of water activities and workout opttions
Negative experience: This facility is lacking the dedication of management. The change room has been broken for a long period and management is not fixing it. The steam room is out of service for more than one week, and management has not fixed it. Please the management of this facility need to take action by fixing the steam room and the broken change rooms urgently. You charge fees even when you are aware that the steam room is out of service. You need to pay attention and fix items when they are damaged.
Negative experience: One of the worst aquacenter in Melbourne, they couldn’t fix the bathroom for nearly 4 months, it’s been shutdown for months. Lot of people have to wait in line to use the bathroom to get changed. Every week after finishing the swimming lessons , it’s very hard with kids to make them shower. One of the worst management. It’s out of order all the time.
Positive experience: Hi can we make sure theres Clear Notation outside the sauna, most especially the steam room- to encourage people to be responsible. Not to use them if they are sick or coughing or has chest infection or flu symptoms. Its easy to acquire virus inside, i often see people coughing and sick and its not fare to other users. Theres current covid + legionela outbreak in melbourne.
Negative experience: Average Facility, Staff is under trained and unprofessional. Few of them don't even know how to operate the computer and had no clue of what they can and can't do. Swimming class was cancelled without notification and no apology. Machines are old and lack regular maintenance. Place is run by a bunch of teenagers who lack sense of pride in what they do.
Negative experience: The most disgusting gym iv ever had a membership too the cleanliness does not exist here the dust is 4cm thick on all the equipment the fans have stings of dust flying off them! Can't even use the lockers as they are full of mouse poop and dust!! Saff stand around doing nothing all day! Most the machies are broken and yet they still increase membership prices twice this year alone! Have brought this up to management multiple times and nothing is ever done! Don't waste your money go somewhere else
Negative experience: An Inflexible young Indian background receptionist made me feel so bad. I went to have my hydrotherapy treatment this evening at about 6 pm. The Indian female receptionist refused my entry and the ticket from the physio clinic. She said you don't have sessions today. You can't use it. You get in unless pay the money out of your pocket. I told her that I had been fully trained in how to practice in the swimming pool. I can't come on Friday this week. She was so bureaucratic. She didn't want to hear anything of my explanation. She didn't care how far I had to drive from home to here. So disappointed in her. I can never forget her cold face. Her service was terrible. I would like to go to different facilities if I have the choice.
Negative experience: This place is crowded .. lockers are not in good condition , if you want to take your kid for a swim for a common pool I would suggest not to . If you have a training going on then it is fine ..
Negative experience: I would’ve given zero star if I could. How could AquaPulse managed to be such horrifying, we used to be enjoying this place, but now most of lockers don’t work, changing rooms are always disgusting with urine smell, wet muddy floor, dirty benches, leisure pool is full of swimming classes on weekdays, no mention water temperature isn’t warm enough, one of staff at reception is cold like robot, family ticket policy is ridiculous which is for 5 people only, 2 adults+2 kids can not purchase family tickets, with these very poor management and facilities, they charge extremely expensive prices, double the price than other indoor swimming pools. Wyndham is big but there’s only one indoor pool for public casual swim around here, council isn’t doing good for it at all. Will never go there again.
Negative experience: Very expensive compared to other council run aquatic centres. $31 for 3 of us (one concession and 2 children) for a casual swim?? It’s $12.90 for 3 of us at Hume council indoor pools (Broadmeadows and Craigieburn). The facilities at AquaPulse are no better than the others. These prices are not helping the community get active and fit.
Negative experience: Poor organisation in place regarding policies and procedures about assessment and steps to move to the next level. Policies are enforced one day and the next day are completely disregarded without any notice.
Negative experience: It's a shame all the pools are so cold here. I love the therapy pool but not allowed in anymore because my child's too old. I know about 20 plus mums that refuse to take their children here (as well as seeing mums complain regularly about it on Facebook groups) because of the freezing temps either because their children or they can't handle it. Even a wet suit doesn't help my daughter. She's still shivering after 20 mins in any pool that's not the therapy pool. Please up the temp so we don't have to drive to laverton or Albert Park where he temps are warmer.
Fantastic experience: This place is huge and offers many services from gym to swimming classes. It has play area for all ages. It also has sauna. Cafe serves decent coffee.
Positive experience: Decent recreational facility. Big gym, you have to suss times with friendly staff if you want to come in quieter or busier hours for your specific workouts ♀️ . There is always one ☝ staff member available to do initial Personal Train PT session for injury prevention and avoidance …
Negative experience: 3 pools are COLD water. 1 warm jacuzzi. 1 warm water pool. on the warm water pool - they didn't allow my 8 year old daughter even just to sit on stairs to keep warm even if there are other kids that were swimming in there as well. do not go here after 3pm. its chaos full of smelly kids and adults.
Fantastic experience: Have my daughter in swimming lessons, teachers all seem awesome and great with kids! I also attend the gym and use pool facilities myself. A 10/10 for community fitness!
Positive experience: Just joined the gym. Done Yoga this morning before work. Great facilities. Great staff too. Can't wait to see results!
Fantastic experience: Love it! A perfect family activity.
Negative experience: Decent swimming place where I haven't swam in for years, but today I went to the gym around 10:45am mark of 11th May 2024. The gym was decently clean however had a faulty locker which the locker assigned to us as the default choice of locker to select, where the locker didn't even lock. At least the sign is up but something needs to be about it. The gym was quite busy for a Saturday late morning where Eagle Stadium not only had a bigger and more spaced out gym, but also people who went to Eagle Stadium knew what they were doing. It was hard trekking through this gym as patrons didn't know what they were doing half the time, and the fact that there is just too many people in the gym for my liking. Just too distracting as you've got pressure to be the best. Had music also playing where it was at the right volume for the environment. Going to Eagle Stadium's gym any day over this gym. Also the wipe dispenser needed wipes to be readjusted at times too. The water refill station was also faulty with the status of faultiness being signposted too. Not worth the hype.
Fantastic experience: The shower water is uncomfortably hot but the warm water pool is quite pleasant
Negative experience: Only one warm pool reserved for adults and infants. The 25 m leisure pool is supposed to be 29 degrees C for kids but is as cold as ice. That meant my family had to be split between 2 areas or we could all suffer in one icy pool. Rude staff with no compassion for families. No need to lie about the temperature of the pool. Rather be honest so that we can make decision to use the facilities or not. Also, the facilities were not clean at all.
Positive experience: I was looking for a dry suana option in Werribee and this place is the only option for me. Suana temperature is set on 65c which will fluctuate as per receptionist as there is no thermometer in the suana, my thermometer shows just 38 C and my device is very accurate, but if you are a suana lover this will be a reasonable place. The casual price is $8.50 otherwise you can join the membership depending on your situation. The pool also looks good and there are many options for different age levels, I recommend coming early in the morning to avoid overcrowding. Customer service on the telephone needs improvement, never had my call picked up for any inquiry, tried several times, website is everything you can get the help. Locker facilities also need repairs as a lot of them are not working, so I always have to take my bag with me. There is a small cafe in the center. Usually they open at 5:30 in the morning, see the hour pic in my post.
Negative experience: always over crowded. noting is ever cleaned or sanitised. expect to contract at least one disease when swimming here.
Negative experience: Just been evacuated from Aquapulse due to poor Air quality, Very disappointed as we Had a Birthday Party. I have been hearing this is a regular issue here, Surly the Maintenance Culture needs to be reviewed Very inconvenient Experience for all
Positive experience: Great pools, love the splash park, my son had a great time.
Negative experience: Relatively cleaner, equipment is a bit aged, communication from staff is poor. Got swimming lesson cancelled and I found out about it when I got to the reception. Also no communication regarding the opening time on Saturday after Good Friday being 8 am instead of normal 7 am. Called to confirm the timing once, phone disconnected without even talking to anyone. Happened 3 times. Pretty average service for the price they charge when it's not even a 24hr gym. I would say, lack of options around here is keeping this place going,
Positive experience: My son has been going here for swimming lessons, the staff has always been great
Fantastic experience: Despite all the negative reviews lately, my experience today with my girls has been wonderful. It wasn’t the best weather so it wasn’t crowded at all. Had a coffee from the cafe and the young girl who served me had a heap of orders and could see she was a little snowed under but she kept her cool and her customer service was amazing. Good work Monica! And thanks for a yummy coffee. I think too many people look for things to pick at and will point it out. What about the good experiences? Think about these young staff members just trying their best.
Negative experience: I went to Aquapulse today for a swim with my daughter and my brother and they wouldn’t let my 4 year old be in the warm pool with me only because they let 0-3 year of age they didn’t have that many people in the pool so I don’t get what was the issue or concerns? The life guards girl was extremely rude. Disappointed not recommending this pool and staff.
Negative experience: Went during a heatwave, it was very crowded, shoulder to shoulder, and the pool filters were struggling. The pool water was fairly cloudy. Never going back there again.
Negative experience: Sorry to say but they are not good No customer service I hv been trying to call from this morning to change my son swimming class but no reply at all. Really bad service at all Don’t send ur children if u want they learn swimming send school where they feel safe and learn with less children not happy at all I don’t know if anyone working in management team because they never answer just waste of money
Negative experience: What is going on with the swimming pools chlorine level??? it's Ridiculously high which i feel the level of chlorine chemicals in all the pools is unacceptable and could be dangerous for the childrens health i couldn't open my eyes, it burns by just standing inside the pool and my 3yr old his eyes were red, he was crying and his eyes were blood red, Aqua pulse management you guys should be testing this every day. and ensure the level of chlorine should be safe. "Having too much chlorine in your pool water can be dangerous. Exposure to high levels of chlorine can cause lung irritation, skin and eye damage, and provoke asthma"
Positive experience: Two out of three visits so far all same day of the week and same time of day, the place was overcrowded. Kids playing in adult lane swimming area. Hydrotherapy pool being used for everything but hydrotherapy. Lockers broken. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with my membership card while I'm swimming if I use the lockers. Third visit was more pleasant with much fewer people.
Fantastic experience: Life with a toddler is hard, life with a toddler with a disability with limited communication and mobility requires lots of planning and organisation. Today I introduced my little mate Jackson to Cérge at Aquapulse (Werribee, Melbourne). Jackson has a genetic disorder called IQSEC2, this means Jackson has intellectual and gross motor delays and associated Epilepsy. He is currently in a wheelchair, non-verbal and has frequent seizures, including where he will drop all of a sudden and sometimes he will stop breathing for a short period of time. This can be something we are use to and also something that can be terrifying depending on the situation. The anxiety associated is really hard, we need things to move fast and seamlessly to make things as best as possible for us as a family. We wanted to take Jackson to the Aquatic Centre but as you can imagine going swimming and the risk of a seizure is pretty scary. We used Cérge to let the staff at Aquapulse know we would like to get through as quickly as possible as his seizures can mean our trips are cut short. When the staff saw us in the entry they waved us through as quickly as possible, streamlining the front access, payment and wristbands. Having never been to Aquapulse before we were unaware of the need to organise lockers at the front desk, when we approached a staff member near the lockers for help she immediately retrieved the wristband we needed with no need to pay (despite them usually incurring a $2 fee!) to ensure quick access for us to get Jackson in the pool. This made a HUGE difference. Sometimes by the time we get in and organised it can be 20mins already gone. Making this process fast for us meant he was able to enjoy some time in the toddler pool, warm pool and had an absolute ball! All you ever needed any as a parent or caregiver is to see that smile, you know the one where their eyes glisten as their mouth moves as wide as it can. Where you know they are in utter excitement and ecstasy in that very moment. Seeing him made me soooo very happy. Everything in the world stops when your know your kid is happy. Jackson, being a tall 3 year old, is too big for standard baby change tables located in the All Gender Disabled and baby change stalls. The All Gender showers had a long bench down one side that had more than enough room for Jackson to lay down to get changed and plenty of room left in the stall for Jackson and even enough room to turn his wheelchair around. This trip was an absolute success for us, and we will be back! I can’t believe things can be soooo much easier just by having a staff member a step ahead.
Negative experience: To the Weribee councilor Susan McIntyre please could you intervene and help the facilitymembers? Council has such a good facility it is rapidily going to ruins and its time to stop that. Hope you and your team will look into this, please This place needs a good experienced manager rather than youngsters who has no clue on how to run such a place nor take care of members. They need to hire ex army , or ex IKEA, ex Bunnings ( to give example) facility manager to run this place. Have tried reasoning with the lady manager on various issues who does evening shifts she is rather indifferent and rude and non receptive to any issues. They have teenagers running the show with no good leaders to guide them. The facility is spacious and well designed. It can be run so well but alas is left to ruin rapidly. Straight off the hygiene is extremely poor. One could see hair. Body fluids. Dirt, tissues, pads, napkins lying around often. Shower doors dont close, no soap in dispenser, Not sure if its cost saving or carelessness. By the volume of people entering they need 3 times cleaning not at closing time alone. They also need to have a max number policy. Some days its like a festival. Too many people some angry for some.reason. There are many things to say. The most delayed one is the lockers. Its been said that there are instances where car keys and mobile phones were stolen from.open lockers. The lockers are dysfunctional since December last year. There is no way it needs this many days to get it repaired. This is inconveniencing the members on a daily basis On asking the young reception staff are doing their best to act ignorant and certainly shield their managers. In Melbourne, how long does ittake to.get a handyman or contrator to repeir something?.1 month? 2 months? Here its taking them 4 months. Finally the young staff are presently rude and some indifferent. I will not blame them as they do not get inspired by a good leader they behave as the manager does. They need training on customer services and manners and they need some good elder leaders.
Fantastic experience: Good place to bring the kids, there's a water park with slides, a kids swimming area which is shallow, 2 regular lap pools, 1 warm pool and 2 spas. The sauna and steam room are good too and the gym upstairs is huge and well equipped.
Fantastic experience: Great experience with little one. Lots of options with water play, warm and bubbly bath, regular pool as well. Super convenient cafe with reasonable prices!
Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting place, the dirtiest pool and amenities I've ever seen. Recessed were all over the floors in the toilets and the staff said it will get cleaned tonight. Not to mention how rude the staff are. Never going back and will not recommend to anyone unless they love being around feces
Negative experience: Went here once with children aged 11, 4, 3 and 2. Was told I was not allowed in because there weren't enough adults to supervise so we were turned away. I came back a couple weeks later with my sister and parents. As a family we were divided. The warmer pool is for adults only and young babies so only one of my children could go in. The other pool eas lukewarm and so overcrowded you couldn't turn around without hitting someone. The baby toddler area with the playground was freezing water. My children were divided into different pools which is ridiculous when you're trying to have a fun family time together. Then as the kids pool was so cold my daughter 4 years old went into the warm adult pool. After a complaint and a life guard telling us off we were threatened by staff to calling police if she didn't get out. We had staff and strangers trying to grab her and take her out. She wasn't splashing or being loud or anything like that - it simple just went against the rules. However, this is what happens when you don't hear the other pools and young children are freezing on a warm day. We were told that management would be calling us but never got a call. This happened months ago but I think my review got deleted. Will never go back again and would NOT recommend to anyone.
Negative experience: Lockers not working. Paper sign saying service request on 6th Jan... not fixed ? No alternative. 6th Jan last month. What you guys doing ??? Funny how your epftos and payment systems work though Gotta get that money. I hope your socks get wet and you don't bring a spare pair!!
Positive experience: Although facilities are big, they are almost always crowded. Today out of 16 lanes only 1 lane was open to swim, rest were booked for classes & training. There were 10 people swimming in that one lane and another 3 waiting to jump in. And you pay 787.2$ yearly with current rate just for pools.
Fantastic experience: We finally got around to this pool. It's a massive venue with any different pools depths for various capabilities. The water playground is always a hit for the young and older kids. Unless you have friends or make new friends, or physically taller, it'll be hard to carry the 4-person float up the stairs for the slides. There's ample of parking and sitting areas near the pools.
Fantastic experience: Great place for kids to be… but extremely busy… it seems like it’s got more people than its capacity!!
Negative experience: Warm pool was closed today 28/01/2024 and no one at the counter told me or there was no notice at the entrance about the closure. Just paid for nothing. Kids didn’t want to swim in cold and deep pool as one of my kid was 6 yrs old. Had to get back sooner we entered the pool.
Positive experience: nice gym but some machines aren't being maintained and are broken. Will be interesting to see if these get fixed soon or if its time to find a new gym
Fantastic experience: When I can, I love exercising in the deep end of the pool. The showers upstairs are clean and tidy. Just one complaint the Clock on the wall by the heated pool needs new batteries. Other than that...all is good.
Negative experience: On Sunday 21 January 2024, at 1:20 pm, after completing my swim, I noticed the reception desk was quite empty. Being a relatively new member, having joined just three weeks ago, I thought it would be a good idea to inquire about any house rules for pool attire. I had observed several individuals entering the pool in casual wear like t-shirts and shorts, prompting my curiosity. Specifically, I was wondering if I could bring my elderly parents without swim attire. Approaching the reception desk, I encountered the short-haired lady with black frame glasses, who wasn't very friendly. When I asked her if it was okay not to wear proper swimwear, to my surprise, she questioned, "What is proper swimwear?" Despite my attempt to clarify by pointing out the sales section and mentioning those labeled "speedo," her response seemed indifferent, and her attitude suggested a lack of understanding. I then tried to explain and asked if it's okay to get into the pool with just a T-shirt and shorts; she responded with a dismissive "yes," coupled with a sarcastic tone. Feeling insulted, it appeared she misunderstood my genuine concern, assuming I intended to complain about others not wearing swimming costumes. Her demeanor suggested a lack of willingness to understand my perspective, making the interaction uncomfortable.
Negative experience: Went there for kids tp play on slide, but was told slides close at 5pm during school holidays. Not noted on the website. First entering pool went to the family change rooms and the place stunk of urine. Floors in all changing areas were disgusting, dirty. Hair all over the place, all the place needed was to be hosed down to get rid of all the Hair, dirt and grime. Obviously no cleaning had been done. 5pm ish... the kids and I couldn't find a clean place to stand before or after swimming. I didn't want to take my shoes off. Walking from family changing room to pool the floor was slimy. Not to bad if you go to the far right end of pool, not to busy and seemed alot cleaner. Said to kids not to put their head under water and to keep their mouths shut. If the outside of pool is filthy whats the inside like.... Seemed to have enough staff walking around, supervision. One could walk around hosing the floors down. Won't go there again
Negative experience: I’ve been calling for days, I’ve written countless emails to cancel my gym membership, no response. Staff are always rude, like consistently rude and it’s such shame cause the gym is decent but looking at these reviews and the fact no one has publicly responded or apologised to these reviews shows it’s not in their interest.
Positive experience: Accessible Toilets needs proper clean. There is so much dirt on the bed and on the sides of changing beds. Even bins are so full( need to be emptied frequently during peak times at pool)
Fantastic experience: AquaPulse is a great place to go to the pool. their membership program is relatively cheap and charge you fortnightly at affordable rates if you want their membership. The only down side is the noise if you're sensitive to sound like I am.
Positive experience: AquaPulse is a solid swimming gym with excellent facilities for water workouts. The equipment and pool areas are well-maintained, but cleanliness could be improved. Despite this, the overall experience is good, making it a decent choice for aquatic fitness enthusiasts.
Negative experience: No wristband offered to a child without being asked by customer + Charging entry fee 15 mins before closing without warning + No warning for earlier closing (10 min earlier than official closing hour) before entry + Arrogant reception, telling customer that they "should check website", neglecting responsibility of information sharing from the service. Conclusion: a robot receptionist might do a better job.
Fantastic experience: Great place , great for adults and kids and infants. Lot of water activity available, pools , heated pools , jacuzzi , changing rooms, lockers and all.
Fantastic experience: Attended Aqua Pulse for a Lifeguard course. Pools are clean and well maintained, excellent slides available, very kind and helpful staff. Swimmers available as you enter as well as a small cafe.
Fantastic experience: Great place for kids swimming lessons. Lots of activities to do apart from classes. Trainers are very skilled and friendly. With the annual membership kids can have access all three pools including outdoor pool in Werribee.
Positive experience: Good place to take the kids for a swim but they should allocate more space for casual entries as it gets very crowded.
Negative experience: Horrible facility Horrible customer service Unexpected charges Half broken always More than half always reserved They are abusing their monopoly in the area too it's full extent NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE Utterly unreliable service at full cost. Timings change unannounced. If closing time is 8pm, they kick you out by 7:43, that's blatant violation of schedule. All timings are set to not suit office goers as per my experience. Half of Warm water pool almost always taken by some or other group and half the equipment's always defunct. Washrooms? Filth rooms! I'd think 100 times before taking my kid to there. Ridiculously low quality service, I don't recommend to anyone. I wish we get an alternative, will go another place even if it takes an hour longer.
Negative experience: Very expensive, 11 dollars per person, my wife had to pay (almost 3 bucks) just to stay outside looking at me playing with my baby so then she could change her. It seems all new but some amenities are not well looked after, (changing rooms were very dirty, including bathrooms and some plays were shut. I was negatively surprised about the price entry. I will not be able to go back regularly for that price, I was told it used to be 8 dollars. The Altona one is still about 7 dollars which is better. My wife does not pay to look at me. I will not go back
Fantastic experience: Staff are knowledgeable in their areas, and very helpful. Aquatic facilities are always busy but for fair reason. Gym equipment is kept fair working and clean
Positive experience: I love this pool, I've been coming here for years. One thing I would change is adding a sunroof to let some natural light in from the top. Overall I highly recommend bringing your kids here.
Positive experience: Place is always clean and tidy. Staff are always friendly. Only thing letting it down is the baby change tables are constantly broken
Fantastic experience: Great pool. Get there early on a hot day to avoid the queue. Good tidy facility , cheap entry with a locker for your gear
Fantastic experience: A great place to take your kids to. There are plenty of options to enjoy for all ages kids as well as adults. Lifeguards are available in large number and they are vigilant all the time which is great. The only thing is that this get too busy on hotter days.
Positive experience: PROS: one 50m pool (which is usually split into 2x25m), a 25m pool, hydro pool, separate spa, sauna & steam room. Good gym. Aqua aerobic classes. BUT the hydro pool is outstanding. It's a good size and heat she also features a stand up spa and seated spa. Children aged 3 to 15 are not permitted in the hydro pool (thankfully). A traffic light system is used on hot days on their fb page to notify capacity issues. Separate members car park and entrance. Membership also gives you access to Eagle Stadium gym (brilliant gym and closer to home), classes and outdoor pool. CONS: 'heated' pools are cooler than most other heated public pools - this results in people swimming and playing in the hydro pool because they're too cold. People with disabilities (like me) may not be able to swim fast enough to warm up. In addition, there are often no slow lanes available in the shallow end of the pool - which means that people who need to enter using steps bait use the main pool. The traffic light system should be available on their home webpage as fb doesn't always display posts in date order. The hydro pool is also frequently used for swimming lessons and aquatic first aid - which means that it is frequently cut in half and the usable part of the pool can end up over crowded. Members must use the public change rooms if using the aquatics areas. These are not cleaned frequently enough on the weekends or on school holidays. With the population boom in the area, the pool is getting more crowded. It's now a significant drive to get to and from AP from Wyndham Vale (it took 40 mins to get home during morning peak hour traffic last week) This means that many WV members can't use the pool in the mornings before work (and if we could, the pool would be more crowded). Hopefully, a new indoor pool will be built in Manor Lakes as there is a huge need (it's a pity that Jubilee isn't available as this is a five minute drive from my house).
