Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre

Positive experience: This is a large recreation centre with a gym and lots of swimming pools. There is a small pool with a whale and water spouts. Another feature is the bubble pool which is next to the small pool. You can also use the flowing fast river pool which is ideal for walking around, even with children under close supervision. You need to book to use the program pool. Well worth a visit on a warm day.

Positive experience: The pool was great and clean and tidy, and there are no proper cafe facilities as we all wanted food and hot chocolate and milkshake.

Fantastic experience: I love the y not classes. This class is excellent for beginners like me they show us 3 options of excerise, beginners mid range and experts. I don't feel out of place or get left behind. Aqua classes are excellent too mucis and excerise always go together. Recommend WIRAC to anyone that's looking for fun and excerise.

Fantastic experience: The staff are super friendly! I love that WIRAC has a pool, gym for classes and regular gym with equipment. It has everything I need. I also love that my gym membership is 24/7. Makes it all that much easier to go when I'm a shift worker!

Positive experience: The new treadmills and equipment is really good and less clunky to operate. My kids enjoy coming to the pool and using the courts. The staff have always been friendly and nice to deal with.

Negative experience: Watch out for the infrared sauna. I didn't start sweating for twenty minutes and after another ten I felt like I was sunburned. $15 for 30 minutes is not good value.

Negative experience: This rating is based upon their lack of care and respect for casual visitors. Today is Sunday the 3rd or April, 27 deg and the first weekend of school holidays. I checked Wiracs website and it says "Spring /Summer hours - Sunday 9 - 4. So I checked google, "open 9 - 4" So I checked their facebook page - nothing new. Being in the country, we get ready, drive for 30 mins just to find a small sign on the front door that states they are closed on Sundays during April.... What a joke.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities. A variety of pools and huge area for a range of sports over two storeys. Great gym. Infrared Sauna. All indoors. The heart of physical wellness and indoor sport in Warwick.

Jada was super helpful and really inspired me to do my best after our exercise programming session. Would highly recommend for anyone new or experienced at the gym.

Positive experience: Great place for the family to cool off. Indoor pools with kids smaller pool to play and Paddle and a larger pool for the big kids. Check the board for upcoming activities and also a 24hr gym. I would double check for Saturday and Sunday as pool hours are only short unfortunately.

Positive experience: Airconditioned gym, relatively small but not usually busy. Sometimes a lot of weight is left on machines and not put away. New machines being installed and updated, comfortable gym to work out in for anyone nervous about starting.

Negative experience: Takes to long to fix any problems with pools, eg, spa has been broken for months and wave pool out of commission for weeks. Some staff are quite rude.

Positive experience: Small and freedly. Placed was cleaned regularly while I was there. Some equipment was well loved but kept in good working and tidy order.

Positive experience: The gym is the place I unwind. Staff friendly and receptive. Good choice of music available, good mix of equipment and COVID plan is monitored well. Perhaps a little WD40 would be good on the equipment that's a little stuck due to the constant need to keep up the cleaning routine to keep us all COVID free. Good job everyone.

Positive experience: Quite a nice pool to go swimming on a hot day. My only complaint is how the lap pool was set up. There was only 2 lanes opened for swimming laps which was right in the middle of the pool so we were constantly trying to dodge people doing laps. Otherwise it was fine.
