Positive experience: Went there especially to use the diving boards & platforms only to be advised that the pool is closed unless you're getting lessons....

Fantastic experience: I pop in here now and then for a few laps. Great setup. If you go outside rush hour it’s actually pretty peaceful.

Fantastic experience: Great pool and staff are always friendly. Heaps of parking and in a convenient location. Just wished they put up the middle walls on some of the lanes during busy times like the valley pool does. Would make it feel less congested on each lane.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful pool ! The place was buzzing . Loads of room for everyone. Designated lanes as per swimming speeds. A great cafe / shop to grab a treat afterwards. Loads of shaded seating. A few chairs for sitting in the sun also. Kids pool and an inside pool.

Negative experience: I rarely swim at Centenary but when I do it reminds me why I avoid it. Overcrowded lanes, too few available for public use and the lane availability guide online is not accurate. Surprise, no lanes for you! Better off going to the Valley pool.

Positive experience: The place has a solid setup with both indoor and outdoor pools, which worked out well because the weather turned halfway through our swim. The lap lanes were clear enough, though some folks didn’t really stick to the slow/fast lane signs, which got a bit annoying. The gym upstairs looked alright. Nothing flash but seemed practical if you’re after basics. The change rooms were serviceable, but honestly, they could use a little spruce up; tiles look like they’ve been around since the early 2000s. On the upside, plenty of parking out front, which is rare for these sorts of centres. Prices were fair, especially compared to other spots around Brisbane. Good for casual swimmers and families, but maybe not the place for a ‘premium’ feel.

Positive experience: Great learn to swim pool with full diving boards too. Heated outdoor pools. No kids play area apart from a small round pool.

Fantastic experience: Great pools with plenty of space to lounge and cool off on a hot day. The children's pool at the centenary aquatic centre has plenty of shade and the right depth for the kids to go for a dip and to enjoy the cool water on a hot day. Great value for families with kids

Fantastic experience: Love this pool. Always clean, amenities are great, has coffee and snack bar. Staff friendly and welcoming. I also like that it has lane allocation.

Positive experience: 50 metre salt water pool which is a nice change from chorine. Clean pool, sun shines on the water in the morning in August. Large changeroom. A big disadvantage is there no grass area to sunbake relax or hang out after a swim. There's only small chairs and a very small artificial grass area or the hard concrete stalls. This is strange for a hot city. 3.5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Loved visiting as a child with my dad and sister now years on I thought it had closed down and passed as did my dad, no more fun for us......................Till just now when I saw ad on maps I am so excited that I can now visit again with my 3 children there dad and mine always watching not too far away see you soon for a swim/dive!!

Negative experience: I went with my family and we had a very bad experience. The employees are rude, We asked if they had a heated pool and they said yes but when we entered they told us that we couldn't use it because there was a children's class. The pools were dirty, the bathrooms with broken glass taped together. The green floors are very slippery. It is not a family place at all.

Positive experience: What a great old pool. Heaps. Of history. I officiated at this pool couple of days ago ,good customer service. Car parking a disaster. No where enough spots for a medium size event.

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite swimming pool in the city. Convenient location, free parking, friendly staff, long working hours. This swimming pool is working all year around even in winter months. That’s super!

Positive experience: Professional pool. Very clean and well maintained. 50m pool. 10m diving board and a pool for children learning to swim. The only downside is if you're going for an extended event and sitting in the stands the seats are concrete. Tad uncomfortable bring your own cushions.

Fantastic experience: Well organised great spot to swim laps, shower off and head to work. Pool is heated all year round. Just check the pool times as they can be different to the gym opening hours. Pool will have school carnivals from time to time also which limits access.

Fantastic experience: Had a really good experience here just $2.00 (thank you BCC!). I haven’t been swimming for years and really enjoyed the morning utilising the slow and medium paced lanes.

Fantastic experience: One of the best pools in Brisbane, modern facilities, friendly staff and great coffee! Lots resting areas for sunbathing, plenty table and chairs for coffee and snacks. Diving pool is great fun and rarely seen elsewhere in Brisbane.

Fantastic experience: Staff are great, pool is clean. Adults and kids both get their fill. Probably my favourite BCC pool in Brisbane.

Fantastic experience: Cosy little gym facility and large pool. The upper gym can get busy and available equipment may be limited, but the separate back/underground gym is much quieter. Gym patrons usually respect equipment, use towels and clean touch surfaces after themselves. Main pool often has dedicated lanes for differing ability levels (unless squad training or other events are on). There is a ramp to enter/exit the pool if required for accessibility. Shower and change facilities are generally clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: The pool is great, though deep to 2.1m, so may not suit everyone, especially if you are here to do water exercises. It can get pretty busy at times and lanes can get a bit hectic, but off-peak its usually very quiet. There is plenty of parking, including blue badge spwace a for disabled people, and there is alsonfilk access to the facility for disabled people.

Fantastic experience: Paid $13 for entrance (2 heads) Which gives access to all pools already. Perfect for the hot day. Was feeling hungry so decided to try their food. We got the Chips, 2 Bacon & Egg Roll + Flat White & Cappuccino. I had low expectations but damn! Everything was good $29 for food well spent! Also the coffee was so good! Props to the cashier/barista

Negative experience: Policy at this facility is to allow Rackley as many lanes as they want, leaving a minimum of one lane to the public. For some reason, management continues to refuse to update the online lane availability. I guess they want to waste their time taking calls.

Negative experience: Terrible parking. No matter when you come here car park is full. Ost have parked from nearby schools and aren't even at the pool. DO NOT come during school hours or you'll regret it

Positive experience: In my day we didn't need water to swim....H2o wasn't even heard of. I can remember after a big session years ago....near starvation and buying Milko's, Chico's and Red Skins and washing them down with a Sunny-Boy...but not anymore. Allen's decided not to make them anymore....What Happen?? Don't emaciated kids with bad teeth go to the pool these days?

Positive experience: Definitely worth giving your kids the experience of diving from heights. My 11 to 13 year olds loved the diving pool and having a baby pool nearby under the shade was also really helpful. On the Saturday we went there was plenty of parking. Diving pool was open from 1 PM to 3 PM. Check their website for open times or call ahead if uncertain to make sure you time it right. Two hours was just enough time for the kids to wear themselves out.

Fantastic experience: This gym is truly special. Lots of gyms talk about inclusion and friendliness but nothing can beat this community. Not only have I seen results and reset my relationship with exercise but I’m doing it in a supportive and kind environment. Mel, Tom and Sarah are second the none for advice, motivation and a friendly face. Try the fun classes, social club or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of your own routine.

Positive experience: It was quiet so enjoyable for my boys and for little babys first swim. Ages 9YO, 2YO and 15 weeks. We went as pool guests not at the swimming lessons but was invitedto use the swimming lessons pool after lessons were completed. I couldn't imagine it in summer when its busy as its an extremely small center. Pools are heated during the winter which was nice. Not much a selection of hot foods, more junk food like crisps and lollies. It has a pool wheelchair access. 10$ - 15$ entry for ALL of us. 3 kids 2 adults. All in all something fun to do.

Positive experience: Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the front counter staff are consistently a little unfriendly. But the main pool & female change/toilet/shower area are always reasonably clean so will be returning. The free parking makes it less stressful to visit here too.

Fantastic experience: During the wet period we just had was surprised how much less congested the lanes were was a nice surprised as being 71 i do like to do at my own pace some days my fitness levels very from one day to another just dont like people passing me makes me feel in the way usually pick medium lane as slow lane i finf i am passing others usuallt sus out medium lane to ss what other swimmers are doing lol hate it when all doing freestyle then when i get in some on changes to breast stroke makes you feel unwelcome lol think maybe have to get over the feeling of being in the way admittedly majority of the time can do my laps at my own lleasure and not feel pressured to keep up those days for me are over o yes parking there is fantastic
